everyones making new stories, so time for me to too! XD
Esan walked around his house with a shinai. He stopped under the moonlight and began to practice kendo. He struck the air with power and control. There was a weak breeze, leaves rained from the towering trees. Esan stopped and yawned, he gazed into the full moon in the night sky. It seemed brighter than usual. Esan gripped his shinai's hilt tightly and held it up, pointing at the moon. The tip of the shinai looked as if it touched the surface of the moon. "I will reach you." Said Esan to himself. He felt the wind get stronger, he raised the shinai over the moon. The moon began to glow brighter and brighter, Esan then slashed the sword downward over the moon. The moon glew very brigh. The wind swirled around Esan, he took a kendo stance. Something's coming... Thought Esan. Suddenly, a large crack ran down the moon. Esan stared terrified at the moon, as it seemed to slowly open up. Esan looked around, thing's seemed to be melting around him. He saw himself begin to fade. Before he disappeared, he saw a creature. The creature was terrifying, it growled as it sat perched on the top of the melting shed. It's red eyes glew, claws shining from the moonlight. A pointy spine could be seen, it's jaws filled with sharp teeth. Blood dripped from it's fangs, the creature lunged itself at Esan. Roaring with it's mouth wide open, it's claws raised high. Esan vanished with the wind, the creature stumbled as it hit the ground. It looked around, it wondered where it's prey has gone. It growed as it looked at the moon, seeing the large crack slowly shrink. It roared, and the crack stopped. The creature jumped on a house, then jumped into the air. The moon flashed and the creature was gone. Esan sat in a plain white room, he tried to stand but he couldn't.
"What your about to see." Said a voice. "Will change you, forever." The voice trailed off, and everything became silent. Esan waited, wondering what will happen. He held the shinai, it seemed to glow now. Esan's eye widened, memories flooded his mind. Memories that weren't his. Memories of happiness, of sorrow. Memories of kindness and torture. Pain, misery, lonliness, emptiness. Memories of friendship, peace, and joy. Esan closed his eyes, trying to block out the memories. In the flicking memories, he saw a creature. The memories suddenly stopped, and the creature was gone. Esan opened his eyes, he didn't know where he was. "Take the amulet." Said the same voice. Esan looked forward, on a silver chair sat a gleaming amulet on a small piece of string. Esan stood up, he felt weak. He made his way to the shining amulet, the white room was now a stone room. Grey bricks made up the walls and floor. Esan slowly wobbled to the amulet. He reached out his hand to take it. "Stop." Said the same voice. "The memories you saw, do you remember them all?"
Esan withdrew his hand. "Yes." Answered Esan.
"What did you see?" Asked the voice.
"Happiness and pain." Said Esan.
"You may proceed to take the amulet now." Said the voice.
Esan nodded, and lifted his hand. He rest his palm on the amulet before taking it, he felt power rush through him. He wrapped his fingers around the glowing amulet. "Good. You will know it's ability once you awaken."
"Awaken?" Asked Esan, confused. "Is this a dream?"
"Once you awaken as a Mystic."
"A what?" Asked Esan.
"Knowledge does not awaken becoming a Mystic, you will find a way." Said the voice. "All will be revealed, just have patience."
"Eh." Suddenly, a brick wall came crumbling down. Esan saw that outside of the room was a forest. Esan wore the amulet and made his way into the forest. It was night. Glimmering stars of different colors painted the dark sky. The trees seemed to be bigger then usual trees back on Earth. Esan touched a tree, it felt different. He didn't know what the difference was though. He decided to keep walking throughout the woods. He heard strange noises from the darkness. Growling, crying, laughter came from the darkness around him. He continued to adventure on, as he would glance from side to side. He was constantly gaze into the sky, at the different colors of stars. In the distance, he could see a dirt road. He smiled and began to make his way towards it. He heard a twig crack not too far behind him. Esan quickly turned around, he saw nothing. He could hear deep breathing. He began to shake, he knew the shinai wouldn't help him against that creature he saw before. He began to increase his pace, not looking back. He heard growling, and the crunching of leaves. He could hear animals run from behind him, they were scared of whatever followed him aswell. It seemed to get darker as he got closer to the road. Sounds grew louder aswell. He heard more animals cry and flee. He heard the twigs crack louder and louder. He could hear breathing on his neck. The deep breathes ran down his spine, he felt the eyes of the creature looking at him. He then tripped and felt himself roll onto the dirt road. He felt the solf dirt under him, he felt better for some reason. He looked up, he saw the creature. It stood up on it's hind legs. It's cold red eyes stared down at him. It had it's claws limb by it's side. It lowered it's head, as Esan slowly stood. They then stared at eye level. The creature's head suddenly turned over to the side. A man and a woman walked side by side. Esan could see who they were, it was too dark. The figures of the man and woman got closer. The creature roared at them, as if a threat. They continued to walk, the creature glanced down at Esan. It jumped into the forest, they could hear it's footsteps slowly get quieter and quieter. The man and woman stood before Esan. A sword materialized in the man's and woman's hands.

The gleaming swords was tightly gripped in the man and woman's hands. The color of the stars reflected off the swords, making them look like they were multi-colored. The man grinned, as he used to the tip of sword to lift the amulet up a bit. "A Mystic in training." Said the man, as he let the amulet drop back down.
"And it seems he's targeted." Said the woman, as she turned her head slightly to look into the woods. She glanced at the broken twigs and smashed leaves that were in the creature's path.
"So what do we do?" Asked the man. "It could be a problem if he lives."
"Yes, there's always a chance that he won't choose the right path." Said the woman. "Should we consult the Ancient?"
The man grunted. "I guess so." The man beckoned Esan over and he and the woman began to walk. Esan followed them.
"Who's the Ancient?" Asked Esan, following them.
The man and woman shrugged. "Someone that goes beyond a Mystic." Answered the man.
"There are several levels associated with the Mystics." Said the woman. "You'll learn all this eventually."
"Are you two Mystics?" Asked Esan.
"You could say that, we are also Ancient's in training." Said the woman.
"There's someone following us." Said the man, as he looked back. Esan turned around to see a robed creature. The red robe stood out, the creature was skinny. It just stood, watching them. "I always hated walking at night." Mumbled the man.
"What do you think it wants?" Asked the woman. She stared at it, and it stood. It didn't even seem to breathe.
"It probably wants food. It can sense this kid isn't strong." Said the man. "I guess we presume, and if we need it, we'll kill it." The group began to proceed. The man and woman walked as if they forgot the red robed creature. Esan continued to glance back at it, it seemed to just stand. It hasn't moved an inch. The colorful stars began to grow dim. "Crap." Said the man. "It's almost Midnight."
"What wrong about Midnight?" Asked Esan.
"From Midnight to one, it will be pitch black." Said the woman. "So we must hurry, that's probably why the creature is staying still. It's waiting."
"So we're going to have to sense our way, or set up a small fortified camp." Said the man.
"It's important to keep moving, incase the creature from before comes back. It may be waiting for Midnight as well." Said the woman.
"Ugh, this is all that kids fault." Mumbled the man, looking back at Esan.
"My fault?!"
"Yah, it was a relaxing walk, until you popped up out of no where. Then the creature is there, and now this red robe creature." Said the man, he sounded irritated.
"It's not my fault, it suddenly popped up here from being sucked into the moon-"
The man and woman stopped. They glanced at eachother. "We must hurry." Said the man.
"Yes, no wonder the creatures are drawn to you." Said the woman. "There may be sworms attacking us when it's Midnight!"
"Hey." Said Esan, his voice a little shaky. "The creature's closer."
The two looked back, it was about two yards away now. Dark green eye's could be seen from under the red hood. It had a strange muzzle, the creature looked almost transparent. "What an annoying creature." Said the woman, turning her attention back to the front. The stars began to get duller and duller. Esan would glance back even more now, the creature remained in the same spot. After a few minutes, there was barely any light at all. They could barely see around them, and only the red robe could be seen behind them. Esan looked terrified now, he saw the red robe creature slowly inch towards them. It was some sort of step, or slide. Esan held his shinai tightly, he walked in a kendo stance. He began to hear strange noises from the red robe creature, as it's pace increase. Suddenly, the light was gone and Esan heard something stop behind him.

The red robe creatured slashed at Esan, a sword blocked it's claws. The creature looked to the side to see the man blocking it with a sword. It roared, and a hammer bashed into the side of it's head. The woman held a large hammer, it turned to dust and formed into a sword. Esan stood in the darkness, wondering what was happening. The man and woman fought with their eyes closed. The red robe flew off the creature, the strange beast stood and charged at them. The man tossed a spear at it, the creature ducked and in the air the spear became enflamed. The flames dropped onto the beast. It roared in pain, the woman slashed at it's arm. It staggered back as blood dripped down. It hissed and the flames were gone. It slashed at the woman, the sword was now a shield and it was blocked. The shield became dust and covered her body, she kicked the creature. It was sent flying back. It looked up to see the man above with a huge sword. The creature caught it, and spikes shot from the blade. It became a morning star. The man bashed the morning star into the ground over and over. The creature managed to evade and slashed. The woman kicked the creature's arm before it could hit the man. The arm was teared off by the force and flew into the air. The creature howled in pain, as it could hear it's arm falling somewhere behind it. It kicked it's long legs at the woman. She blocked and held the foot, while the man grapped the creature by the neck and tossed it into the air. It saw the two jumped around from branch to branch on the trees. Now the man and woman were above the creature, fire engulfed the man's fist, ice engulfted the woman's. They punch down on it, it was senting hurridling into the ground. It tried to get up, it felt the burns and ice on it. The man appeared and uppercutted it. While in the air, the woman barraged it with punches. The creature roared and a new arm began to grow from it's empty arm socket. It slashed, this time it's arm stretched. The man and woman jumped, evading the attack. The creature jumped and was at eye level with the man. It kicked him into a tree, and it's arm stretched and hit the woman into the other. The man and woman walked from the destroy trees with only a few scratches. The creature hissed and charged at them.
Esan held the amulet and the shinai. He heard roaring and destruction in the woods. He tried to look around, but he saw nothing. He felt the amulet begin to burn in his hand. He looked down at it, it didn't look different. Though he could feel power inside it. He closed his eyes, hoping now he could 'sense' things. He still couldn't, he opened his eyes and sighed. He heard the snarling of the dark creature from before behind him.
The man and woman evaded and attacked the beast. The endurance the beast possessed was amazing. It slashed at the man and woman, as they dodged. The man was able to catch the arm. A large axe appeared in the woman's hand and she cut the arm. Blood poured out, the creature growled as it backed up. The other arm was only half grown now, it lunged at the man and woman. It snapped it's jaws at them, it moved faster now. The creature continued to attack, the woman ducked at as it tried to bite her. She then punched through the beast. There was no heart. It roared as she yanked her arm out. It stumbled, and began to get slower. The man stabbed a sword through it's head while it was distracted with it's wound. It roared weakly, it tried to slash at them but it was too slow and weak now. The creature then dropped dead. Blood soaked the leaves, the man and woman began to make their way back.
Esan jumped and backed away from the noise of the beast. It growed at him and he could hear it stomp closer and closer. The amulet began to burn his chest now, as it lied against it. The amulet had a faint glow inside it now. Esan could see some of the beast, he was able to avoid some attacks. The creature continued to rapidly slash at Esan, a large slash ran down his chest. Blood leaked out, and the amulet dropped. Esan barely caught it, he held it between his teeth as he took a kendo stance. The amulet was growing brighter, Esan held his shinai steadily, trying to ignore the pain. The creature slashed at Esan, Esan hit the claw with the shinai. The shinai broke, and the wood splintered the beast's hand. It withdrew it's claws and growled. Esan looked at the hilt of his once complete shinai. He dropped the hilt. He took the amulet from his mouth and held it in his palm. Esan now felt the power rush through him like before. He wished for more strength, it be able to stop this beast. The creature slashed downward, Esan rose both his arms above his hand, to protect himself. The caught the creature's attack. Esan looked upward, the creature seemed to be grinning now. Esan could feel himself being pushed into the ground by the creature's power. Esan jumped back, he wanted a weapon. He missed his blade. He felt the power leave his body and manifest in his hand as a sword. He slowly rose the sword and took a stance. He couldn't believe what was happening. The creature dashed forward, Esan could barely react. He slammed his sword down, it left a cut on the creature's hand. It backed up, watching blood drip from it's wound. It glanced at Esan, then looked into the sky. Esan noticed could feel the light from the amulet dimming, the sword began to become more frail. He saw he had once last chance. He wished for a spear, then the sword reshaped into a spear. Esan took a stance and held the spear high. He tossed it, the creature realized it and blocked. The spear stabbed into it's arm, it yanked out the spear and snapped it. It saw that Midnight was almost over. It could hear running through the forest, the other two were returning. Esan's amulet no longer glew, he looked into the darkness. He closed his eye's but could not sense anything. He heard the creature jumped into a tree, and everything was quiet. The man and woman returned. Midnight was over.
"Wow, what happened to you?" Asked the man, as he saw Esan standing in his own pool of blood.
"Nothing." Answered Esan, as he held his amulet in his hand.
"Well, we're close. We'll get you healed." Said the woman.
The creature sat perched in a tree, watching the small group leave. It growled softly, and went deep into the woods.
