I would go for Moden. That's what I've learnt and it's what most of modern china (excluding Taiwan and some rural areas) use. It definitely is easier to remember, but it's pretty impressive if you can also write traditional. And usually, you can tell what a word might mean if you know traditional and you see the modern.
But I would go either Modern or traditional then modern. 祝你好运！
