Today my mum decided to treat me to a day out to a place called St Annes, it has a beach, an arcade, shops, and a long paddling pool for kids, but adults can sit down and dip their feet in the water. The water was cold, but I definitely enjoyed dipping my feet in it.
I forgot to mention that my gran also came with us to St Annes.
I saw a shop by the beach, so I popped in, looked around and grabbed a candy dummy because it looked yummy, and sure enough it was extremely lovely. =P
I had a really good time.

Alex Eternal That does sound like a rather good time. I could go on and on about how fun my day was, though I won't because I think that it would be extremely long and boring.

As long as they are thread relevant. We don't really rule much of anything out, so long as it's acceptable to Gaia's ToS, and it doesn't offend anyone.

for some reason i am not able to vote on topics.
why is that?
i like our quiet beaches; they are public but unknown so they may as well be private.
i once had an eagle fly right over my head whilst i was out for a swim; i quickly jumped up to show him that i was not prey!
