History: Alex grew up in a loving family, her father was a police officer and her mother was a dentist. She did well in most of her classes but she was looking at a future in English or Mythology. . .at the age of 10! It was only 2 weeks before her 12th birthday when her and her Mother stopped by to see her Father at the police department. Alex had always been afraid that her Father might get hurt, but he was usually out of range of armed roberies. They had caught some wacko who had beaten a girl and who had been diagnosed with a sort of mental disability. Alex and her Mother were just about to leave when they heard yelling and rapid footsteps coming down from the jail.
The man ran out, big and very muscular. He imeadately targeted the youngest girl in the room, Alex. Alex's Father pulled out his gun and called for back up as he charged at the man. The man swatted Alex's Mother aside just as she choked out the word 'run'.
Alex did. Alex didn't focus on anything that was in her way. Her heart beat faster and stronger (Faster and Stronger than the average human heart that is) as gunshots rang down the hall. They'd missed. She could hear her Father screaming at her and she heard his foot steps, what he was screaming she didn't hear. She felt pain in her chest, she figured she was just out of breath but she was going still. Then her eyes fixed on what was in front of her.
A concrete wall! Alex tried to stop but it was to late. She crashed into the wall head on and then. . .she thought she was dead because she felt no pain. Then she realized she was on the ground, the man trapped under a pile of rubble near her, not dead but not able to get out either. Alex walked over to the man who had tried to attack her and lifted the piece of rubble that was on his head, as easy as one might pick up a pebble on the side walk. That's when her Mother and Father and the rest of the police station ocupnats came running.
Mr. and Mrs. Forleck ran to their daughter and hugged her and cried and said things that Alex couldn't understand because of her shock. Then her parents noticed what their daughter had done, and realized, she was a mutant. A few weeks later, now 12, Alex told her parents what she had to do, her Father would most likely lose his job because his daughter was a mutant, and the other children had been afraid or had attempted to beat her up in school. Alex told them she was going to leave, she didn't tell her parents when because she knew they would try to change her mind. She left 3 days after the conversation.

Powers: Alex's powers are very unique in the super-strength area. She can lift up to 43 tons and can break through just about anything. The weird thing about her is, when her body senses physical or emotional stress, such as pain, fear or anger, her body bulks up and her organs become stronger and more resistant. Like a defense mechanisam. She has not quite figured how to turn this on and off, so for now her powers activate uncounciously. She can go from Girl of Average Strength And Size to Body Builder Chick in a few minutes. Howerver this change offten causes her extreme 'growth spurt' like pains.
