(sense danielle yelled at me for me liking school rps to much.)
This is set about five years into the future. Nothing has really come out. The world is at peace for now. Everyone thinks it is safe. (by the way you all live on manhatten, just to make it convienent.) You carry your days out as normal. All of a sudden Theres this huge explosion downtown. Bombs start raining down on the city. Everyone is fleeing for their lives. This is the story of you. (Pretty much theres this huge explosion from several bombs and everybody is panicing. Soon the enemies will drop down their infranty to wipe out the rest of the city.)

Rules sad everyones favorite)
Ok, no fighting epic death sequences that last 200 pages. one or two is fine.
No killing anyone that is a pc without their premission.
This is not to far into he future so no laser beams. Its just basic weapons you would find today. Also your in a city so the odds of you having a gun and not being in the millitary are very slim.
Their is a military base on the island but im not releaving it until later.

Both of Angi's parents were assassins, so she was raised to be an assassin. They were proud of her, but one day they had to leave her, and they were killed on the job, but Angi doesn't know they are dead.

She skipped through most of school and graduated from Nursing School at the early age of 17, and went off to work at one of the finest hospitals in the city when she turned 18. Unfortunately, when she moved deeper into the city, things became rough for a pretty girl like herself, so she enrolled in a self-defense class. Now she's a black belt in many kinds of martial arts, and her weapon of choice, the Bo staff, is always by her side. When the bomb raids started, her workplace and her apartment were both destroyed, and her entire family was killed, save for her pet Macaw, Mami, whom she purchased shortly after moving away from home to keep her company. She now wanders, homeless, around the ruined streets of Manhattan, scrounging for food, shelter, and water wherever she can. She tries to avoid people as much as possible, and has taught her bird enough of human speech for it to piece together feasible responses to her when she talks to it. Other: The one thing she cannot resist is classical music. She loves a good concerto or opera any day. Secretly, she loves to sing.

Also. I don't really particually care about ammo. Just so long as you go an get some occasionally.

“Zzzzz….” KABOOM. Scott quickly woke up and started to look around as he heard the giant explosion. He grabbed his weapon and ran over to the windows. He lifted the shades just a little and looked up at the sky. “My god, where being bombed.” He lowered the shade and ran over to his closet. Quickly slipping into his basic gear and then pulling a shirt over top of his armor. He grabbed his gun and started to run down the stairs. Slipping out the front door and under the roofing of the apartment building.

Arcene is sleeping peacefully in his apartment when a sudden loud crash jolts him awake, gun already in hand. it woudnt be the first time someone had broken in, so he was ready. he didnt expect the sudden explosion, deafening him and knocking him off his feet as the outer wall explodes inward. he climbs to his feet, and, looking out the hole in the wall, saw the next house over had been totalled. he also hears aircraft flying overhead, along with the distinct whistle of falling bombs. he quickly grabs another clip for his gun from the desk, along with his emergency aid kit, which was all in a small backpack, and went out the door, keeping an eye out for any more bombs as he travel's down the street.

((for some reason i decided to write in present tense, which goes against my style. ^^;; please bear with.))
Danielle is walking home late from work tonight, through a dangerous neighborhood. An emergency operation had kept her busy with the other nurses, helping the doctor... She doesn't want to think about the mess.
"The poor man didn't make it," she mutters to herself, "bless his soul..."
Strange sounds in the far-off distance make her antsy; she wishes she had her Bo staff with her, and she's glad to be out of her blood-stained scrubs and into her more comfortable sparring gear. She doesn't care that she looks like a ninja walking down the street to the common passerby; in fact, it makes her feel more confident, like nothing can touch her.
The deafening crash opens her eyes to the danger. She is knocked into an alleyway from the force of the explosion, and, when she comes to, she finds it very hard to hear.
"Shellshock," she mouths to herself.
Standing, she stumbled out onto the sidewalk once more to find that the street has been cracked nearly in half; sewage is spewing from underneath the roads. Covering her nose from the stench, she looks toward the hospital in dismay; it's gone. Her entire livelihood, everything she's worked toward, gone. Panic strikes her, and she dashes down the street toward her house.

A beautiful blue-and-yellow bird screeches in alarm as the front door is thrown open and Danielle bursts inside. Relieved to find everything in order here, she snatches her staff from its resting place against a coat-hanger and reaches her arm out for the bird.
"Mami! Hurry up! We gotta go see Mama and Papa!"
Mami, the bird mentioned previously, stretches her wings and flies to her master's arm. "Rawrk! Mama an' Papa! Mama an' PAPA! Cracker? Roaark!"
Danielle strokes the bird's back affectionately, and hurries outside once more. Not a moment too soon, for as she is dashing down the street toward her parents' house, her apartment building shudders and collapses from some kind of aftershock.
Mami screeches again, "Fireworks! FIREWORKS!" The bird makes a whistling sound, like something large falling through the air.
At this moment, Danielle sees a large something falling in the direction of her parents' neighborhood. "No! Mama! PAPA!!" She races off as fast as she can possibly go, pushing her muscles to the limits and leaving Mami to fly after her.

She knows that it's hopeless before she even enters the cul-de-sac. Slowing to a walk, Danielle plods down the rubble-encrusted street and stands in front of the remains of her parents' townhouse. Panic and agony begin to wash over her like tsunamis of rage and injustice, and she falls to her knees, wailing. Mami lands on her master's shoulder, nuzzling the tears from her face with her beak.

Arcene is heading down the road, noting the alarming frequency of the bombing, and the lack of precision. they appeared to just be bombing for the sake of bombing. only a small amount of the bombs were hitting or even getting near strategic targets. He looks down a cul-de-sac, seeing someone on there knees on the ground, wailing in front of a destroyed house. it looked like a direct hit on the house as well. he sighs, but keeps moving. he couldnt do anything here, not right now.

Danielle sits on her knees for several moments, mourning her parents, trying to decide whether or not to find their remains and bury them.
"Face it, Dani," she mutters to herself, at length, "they've been blown to bits. There isn't anything to find."
She stands, wiping the tears from her eyes. Mami suddenly makes a squawking noise, and brings Danielle's attention to the entrance of the cul-de-sac. She sees the man walking past, but chooses to ignore him. She wants to be alone in her misery, for the moment. Gripping her Bo in her right hand, she sets off through the rubble, back toward the city to find some shelter.

((holy hell, this is the first RP I've joined in ages, and I think it's pretty much dead already. on the FIRST page. ...kind of sad. Now I know why I quit RPing for the most part lol ^^;; I always hate when a good story idea just dies...))

(Well, azure had to go for a trip, nikkei isnt getting on, and well... i kinda died on ideas. ill post, and i guess we'll try to start it up again. Until june ninth, i am taking over as moderator for this RP, so please send profiles to me, as well as i will try to enforce the rules as best i can. now lets go.)
Arcene keeps moving, going deeper into the city, trying to find one of the bomb shelters that hasn't been destroyed yet.

(Ahh now i know! Thanks for updating me. ^^;; )
Danielle eventually comes across an old-fashioned bomb shelter in what used to be some rich person's backyard, oddly placed near the middle of the city. After hurriedly crawling through the wreckage of the house, picking up some foodstuffs that miraculously survived the explosion, she yanks open the door to the shelter, relieved to find nobody inside.
"Mami! Get in there! I'll check around for survivors." The bird flies in, and Danielle walks around the perimeter of the backyard, checking the desolated streets. Eventually, she spots a far-off figure, and waves to them.
"Hey, hey, you!" She cries, waving her arms. "You! Do you have shelter?"
