Alright, I’ll make this brief. The three kids are supposed to be connected some way in their former life; I’m sure we all had different ideas in our entries and I think we should get on the same page.

I still need to find my entry, but I vaguely recall something tragic having occurred. Song Tzue’s former self, turned her back on her friends to try save her own life... and her spirit is thus filled with regret and that’s why she was reborn as a lotus.

She’ll be incredibly protective of both Bai Mei and Yoru, ready to do anything to keep them safe and make amends for her past failures. She had a very strong personality, as enduring as the pine... wanting to be somebody her friends will lean upon if they have troubles.

Of course I still need to read over what I had, but yeah... what did you guys have in mind for their past? XD

In my entry Bai Mei's other self was kinda like he is now with being cheerful and rather clumsy. I dug around and found the entry so I can post it if we are wanting to post our entries here.

I left it very open since there were two other people to consider, it was also written when the character was younger which means anything happening with the trio as adults can be changed easily enough.

Alright, I’ll try finding my entry. :3 But yes, so basically they were all friends and something terrible happened, and other-Song ran off to save herself. XD She then lived a long, sorrowful life... think. She might have died too.

I don’t know how you wanted your characters to have died. xD

Though it doesn’t have to be too detailed I suppose, since they’ll only have vague feelings in this time. :3 So we can just create a basic outline of what happened.

Maybe they were out having adventures and one day got captured by SUPER STRONG bandits? owo

Oh yesss, bandits. That’d work. And either at the start or during all the trouble, Song Tzue saw a chance to escape, and she never went back for the others or tried to help them.

I’d say that maybe they were young adults when they got captured? Just out for a stroll, three good friends, away from their home village and bam! Bad people got em. :<

It would be interesting if maybe Bluebell was the bandit leader or one of his underlings. 83 Since they obviously didn’t look like they do now, he could have been a big rough guy (though personality wise it probably doesn’t work, still it’s amusing). XD And then Song Tzue won’t let Yoru and Bai Mei play with him. >3>;;

Aw, poor sweet Yoru. Song Tzue would have believed they had died that day amongst the snow and pines, and felt it was all her fault. So sad and dramatic. I love it. <3

Edit: btw, the kid who stole Yoru’s flute is going to get his a** kicked.

Oh my, now that would be interesting. Song Tzue would be all ‘I’ve never met you, but you’d better watch out D<).

So, let’s say they were captured during a walk during winter by the bandits. They kept them for day or so doing... er... dastardly things to them. Song Tzue eventually escaped but felt guilty for the rest of her life; Yoru was sold off; and Bai Mei was kept to be the bandit’s plaything.

Were Bai Mei and Yoru male or female in their other life? :3 I imagine Song Tzue was a much more feminine girl than she is now.
