Appearance: Kaida stands at five feet tall, and is rather lean. Her skin is tan, proof that she spends a great deal of time outdoors. A small splattering of freckles go in a rough line across her nose that might be hard to notice due to their dark shade and their small individual size. She has shoulder-length dark-colored hair and soft gray eyes. Her eyes are somewhat narrow, at times making her irises appear darker than they really are.
She is almost never seen with her hair tied up, even when she is in combat; however, her hair never seems to fall messily around her face, but instead neatly, as if bound, to her shoulders. She carries her sheathed sword with her at all times - even when she sleeps - usually on her right hip, but sometimes has it slung over her shoulders. Kaida's clothes vary by the day, but she will always choose practicality over style or fashion. However, whenever possible, she will wear neutral shades of gray. As a general rule, she will try to wear loose-fitting clothes, as she hates her motions being restricted.
Kaida dislikes expending energy unnecessarily, thus when she moves, she moves with purpose. Her speed reflects on how more urgent and fierce she feels; hence, she is usually not unnecessarily graceful in her movements - they are simply meant to get her from point A to point B, nothing more. She never drags her feet, and never slouches - she is, at all times, aware of her posture and will tense noticeably if she thinks she might have let it slip, even if slightly so.
Personality: Kaida has a terrible temper and has no patience for any kind of nonsense. She is awfully pragmatic, and has absolutely no sense of humor. Very reclusive, Kaida normally spends her spare time fiddling with her weapon or other possessions by herself. Most people know better than to try to start a conversation with her when she is doing this. She has a sharp tongue, but an even sharper blade, and doesn't let people forget it. She will normally only speak when spoken to directly; however, she does, at times, appear to talk to herself out loud. She has a strange habit of sometimes holding onto her side, as though in pain, and also of cringing unnecessarily.
Because of her slight magical inclination, she sometimes picks up on strange vibes which she calls hunches and jumps to conclusions with them - often resulting in a confrontation. When alone and in a private space, Kaida likes to draw strange things that might seem bland to the ordinary average person. There are many not-so-uncommon things which Kaida takes as foreign, which usually can cause either amusement or frustration, and sometimes, both. In a sense, Kaida is similar to a horse - in that she will always remember how somebody treated her.
Among those she trusts, Kaida will curb her temper to the point where it almost is non-existent. She will even appear meek, but she will never hesitate to input her opinion where she sees fit. Rather bold, Kaida is quick to pick up on personality traits of even strangers, although she always seems to manage to pass right over some of the most basic of core values. Simple human emotions, barring anger, seem almost impossible for her to understand. For example, she is of the firm belief that love is pointless; to put energy in chasing after anybody in that manner is beyond her comprehension.
History: Kaida is said to have been a bounty hunter, but that is a lie she made up to stop unnecessary conversation directed at her. In actuality, she used to live a rather mundane life - simply making ends meet, living in an apartment, and hanging out with a small group of friends. Recently, she withdrew from the group of friends due to selfish reasons and even quit her job. From a very young age, Kaida has shown rather potent potential in magical matters. However, she has never had a proper teacher nor any means to teach herself.
