Sonia_de_Notte I have weird dreams and write about them later. biggrin NOT. razz I really don't know how it comes about for me. XP My gears are always turning, and once one idea gets started it kinda creates a domino effect. ^^; The ideas connect, and then I just write. I work out the kinks later. XP What's written down change until I'm satisfied. >.> That works. Do you tend to get chunks of things that need to be patched together or whole stories?

Usually it's parts, although once or twice I've gotten a whole story idea rather than just bits. But most of the time it's a few pieces that are put together and then have more added to it.

Once I have the pieces (and once I've fixed them up), I relay the basic points of the story's plot to a few friends who also act as fair-minded critics. They then tell me what they think. They help identify plot holes that I might not see.

Master_Terranort Tympest Master_Terranort I think of the basics for my characters first and how I want the story to end before I go into detail with the world and the actual story. So you start at the end and work from there? Yeah pretty much I'm weird like that. It sounds like a great idea. You'd know how it was going to end that way.

The annoying part is the path to the ending though and the history and religion of my world.

It's one or two of my closest friends as well as my beloved who help me with editing. Also aiding me with edits are those who are writing stories of their own. 3nodding Nonetheless, it is kind of them all (and you) to listen to pieces that have been put together in the clockwork known as my brain.
