At least one OOC thread is nesseccary in any RP guild. Rather than pile OOC chat in an RP thread, or having to switch to a seperate program, just place them all in one area like this. That way everyone can see the questions and comments, ect

I've been looking around for a place to join in but I can't seem to find one. There aren't any discriptions anywhere for me to go on. Is Mt.Vanahe an RP thread? What is the quest thread RP and where is it being quoted from? What does Leonis' Lodge look like and is it free for anyone to join? Is the RP school open to begin posting? (I'd like to help teach)

*laughs a bit* My lodge is up in the sky... It looks like an Indian Long house... Tis quite unaccessable less you have wings and I want you there. Great thing about being a God. The RP School is a place to give advice and help people learn and perfect their RP. It is an OOC where. The DragonHeart Inn is A place to RP, it is basically your average Inn... Only chiverouls... (I think dun quote me sweatdrop )
The Quest/RP thread that is being quoted was where we were Rping, which was Mahayr's quests when they were going on. We were RPing instead of bumping... I personally have an interesting idea on how that can be done but.. meh... Well welcome to the community.. and dun hate me for previous mistakes. I AM still a kid, even though I'm trying to get older.

Mt. Vahane is my home, or as Mahayr refers to it, my sanctuary. RP is welcome as well as everyday type chat. It's where I will place my dreams, stories, etc. Everyone is welcome. She places a vase of roses on a low table in welcome. I'm so glad you're here. Welcome....

(I'd like to help teach) I agree that we must have an OOC thread. I abhor OOC during RP, it detracts from the mood and is distracting and upsetting for serious role-players. Thank you. I will work on having everyone give more descriptions. When Sqarr moves the DragonHeart RP thread in here you will see a difference. The quest thread is being quoted from my own quest thread and should be complete soon. It started as a contest but may continue if anyone wants it to. Yes, you may help teach at the school as long as you are open for debate and discussion and willing to keep an open mind, and I welcome the help and input. Please do add your character despciptions to that thread as you can (I saw what you have added so far). I look forward to being able to be more involved as soon as my new job settles down.

*nods* Also, if you notice, I use color in my RP posts. I am generally always RPing, but if my posts are in dark blue then I am serious about it. Other than that I'm usually just playing around ^^
Leonis: does the Vagabond need an invitation to visit Leonis' sky lodge? Also, no =( we have yet to hold the ceremony. ^_^ but we're getting there.
This all seems very well. I suspect I will enjoy my stay here.
And I am always open to learn more and give what advice I can see fit. I am very good at constructive critisism.
... and if you have a higher constitution, you may brave asking for a little more. I am highly skilled with Occam's razor. A man may put years into developing a theory that I will rip to sheds in moments... The only problem it this tends to deeply hurt and offend people -_-

Meh.. he doesn't need an invite.. but if he comes with no announcement and proper show of respect he might not find himself remaining in the lodge too long razz

Normally, I'd agree with this. I did have a similar idea. I put it off, though, since we don't really have much of a user base yet. I prefer to hold off on the branching as it can be a little imposing to newer players at first, but it does become necessary when there are more numerous players and more frequent activity. I considered bring the Dragon's Heart here, with separate threads for the common room, pools, baths, kitchen, garden, various times of day, et cetera, but decided against having so many right off the bat. It seems more comfortable to start off in a centralized way to keep things more accessible and inviting. This attracts people more effectively, I find, than over-structuring. While a strong sense of structure is good to have, I've seen more people chased off by it. A balance has to be struck between an experienced player's need for strong structure and the average newer player's need for the freedom to explore what the RP thing's all about.
