I thought that maybe some of you guys might want to get in on this discussion, or at least be aware of some of the changes that the dev's are implementing in the next few weeks. Guilds are going to be changing, so expect some glitches and stuff here and there, but otherwise I think this will be great. Also, GRAVITE guys, keep in mind that some of the changes you make might want to wait until after the fix. Not sure what, but I'm just saying...
Anyway, here's the link, check it out. It's about more than just the homepage, too.

No, it merely means that, one: People don't oft check the main forum. Two: Those who do, don't reply to anything. Three: those who DO reply, do not particularly wish to partkae of this event, or have nothing to add.

well last time i checked... they were still voting on which updates should take priority since the spring cleaning only lasts like 2 weeks. If there is some official announcement on which updates they will be making I'd like to see that list.
also option #4 things have been more inactive lately, I know I didn't check the forum in like 2 days >> sorry ^^;

So far, I don't see how the changes in Guilds directly effects the GML guild, so I'm not concerned. So far. wink

Well, the changes to the homepage will probably not affect much. However, there are a few minor things they were going to change inside of the guild as well, judging on the most recent announcement update. It would affect any changes you might want to make here, because every time Gaia makes changes things get fux'd up and glitchy, and I have no idea what your timeline for your fancy little fix-er-upper thingy looks like or anything like that, so I figured I'd give you a heads up.
Also: If you don't care then you don't care. Just thought I'd post it in case anyone did care.

We care, but I for one trust the dev's to do what they do. If it works, then we'll rejoice, if it doesn't, there are hundreds of thousands of members who will complain for me.
I just really want the guild forums to work the same as the site forums. AND, because I'm self-centered like that, possible member Mod status for the sub's in a guild. So people can moderate a sub without being full Crew.

Yeah, that's what a big part of the discussion is about at this point, actually, and has been moved to another few threads as well. There's no solid answer as to whether or not they are going to change anything like that, but people have been wanting it for years. The only thing that they are saying is that they will be revamping the homepage and fixing glitches, but there's talk of them considering, if they have extra time (considering things seem to be moving along quicker than they had expected with some of the other fixes), working on a few of the other aspects.
Thread Subscriptions would be great.
And yeah, different crew status type stuff. That's a big one for a lot of people. Sadly, it takes a lot of coding for them to implement that one especially, I guess (not sure why, but whatever), so the odds of that happening...are very slim.
Guilds are neglected. Since the devs are finally listening, or at least a little anyway, I was hoping someone would want to bit** about it with me. There's plenty of people to complain for you, you're right, but the problem is that such is the mentality of most Gaians, which is why nothing in guilds has been worked on for a really really REALLY long time.
