Goodbye
When you said goodbye, all i did was sigh, knowing you weren't the right guy, because you never came back again to say hi.

Winter Poem: God`s little Oops-there-goes-my-printer-paper Arts and Craft Projects Are falling from the heavens Like suicidal lemmings All jumping off a bridge. This begs the question: Didn`t their mothers ever ask them “If your friends jumped off a bridge, Would you do it too?” Because apparently the answer is yes. I`m going to write a poem for every season biggrin
Spring Poem: The tissues of the angels pop up Like nerds arriving months early for summer school, Saying, “I`m here!” Like anyone`s actually there to care. Parents are too busy working And kids are too busy being tortured by The public school system, Or that Christian school down the road, Or that crazy private school That no one actually goes to. It`s a known fact that Nobody pays attention to anything While it`s actually there. Everyone prefers to appreciate it While it`s gone. And, seriously, is anyone actually Up at the crack of dawn to notice How the light hits that rose over there Juuuuust Right So it looks slimmer and prettier? It would be more effective to try Weight Watchers and hiring those Guys who Photoshop models` pictures. Flowers are way too eager about life…

Summer Poem: The Sun`s like one of those school sluts— You know the ones—that wears one of those obnoxious “Too hot to handle” shirts that are like Three sizes too small And goes around burning people to prove it. If that wasn`t enough, The Sun also pulls that dumb “My beauty is blinding” Trick…and literally, Except it`s not its beauty we are blinded by. The Sun needs to get a life…

Fall Poem: Trees in Autumn Are like those people on Survivor, looking out only For themselves. The poor leaves that sheltered them From the wind and rain Are thrown on the ground With a “Good riddance! You guys were getting soooooo Clingy!” What prima donnas those trees are…
