The Sith originated on Korriban. As a species they were very strong in the force, strong enough to repel the Rakata, and impress the Dark Jedi Xoxaan and Muur. Overtime, the species interbred with Dark Jedi, until the Sith were an Order, and no longer a species.
Korriban has long been their homeworld. Though repeatedly abandoned, time and time again, the Sith return, recolonize, and remaster the dark side powers of their forbears.
The Sith Academy is of foremost concern. It is here that all new Sith are taken in and trained in the ways of the Dark Side.
The Valley of the Dark Lords is the resting place of many powerful Sith Lords, including Marka Ragnos, and Ludo Kressh, to name a few. It is here that many dark secrets lie.
Dreshdae, the planet's only city is also nearby. Originally founded by Czerka, it serves as a spaceport and military base for the Academy, as well as a place for non-students to come and stay.
