I see you brothers and sisters,
I'm your new guild owner and I would like to request your help. I want to hear your opinions and suggestions on how to get this guild going again. Post your ideas here and I'll make a list of everything that seem appropriate. So, help me help you to make this a better place to spend time on Gaia.

Agreeing with the "villain" above, art contest definitely. Maybe even a dice roll contest too, again 3nodding
I KNOW!!! We can have a dice rolling competition, pay to enter (entry fee= Some large sum). Winner gets all twisted ROLL TEH DICE!!!

yeah that seem nice BUT first of all we need to find out how many people are in the guild who are active cause this guild has been out for a very long time and many have quit so anyways if we dont have many active people then we need to find more people to re populate the guild also heres a suggestiong for activities how about we do an art contest biggrin

By an art contest do you mean that I should hold a contest and the winner gets art or do you mean the winner is whom ever makes the best art?
If I were to do a dice game I would need a prize. I was thinking of doing body dye again but that's been done. Also, the mule only has 45k on it so we need a way to increase funds.
Why would I charge people to roll the dice? I assume to increase funds but I would have to say that the prize for rolling has to be a big one if people are going to have to pay to play.
Yes we do need to see how many people are here and are active. I don't know how to do that but I will be sending out announcements often to let everyone know what's going on and my plans to help revive the guild. I'm trying to get people to come RP here cause that's the place where there was the most traffic besides the body dye contest.

Eh, well I'm not terribly into role-playing (although I will do certain ones), so you can count e out of participating for now. I'd be willing to help with a plot though i anybody wants the help.
And for an art contest there could be something where people can submit there piece, then somehow we decide on a final few (wed have to figure out how to decide) then someone makes a pole to vote for the winner out of the finalists. Then maybe the winner would get an item, gold, or some other reward.

We HAD a decent RP going...then all of a sudden it died, along with the entire Guild.... funny that. Nice to see the owners are paying attention again....I had classified this Guild as "Dead, and most certainly Gone".... I'm VERY active here....Unsure how to restart the Guild, honestly. First thing to do, I would recommend; Contact everyone who is on the Guilds lists, find out if they are willing to continue/resume what they were doing hre, Explain what has happened and what you are trying to do....and kick them from the Guild if none of the above works, or if they have not been on Gaia for over two months. You'll get rid of some dead wieght Just a very passionate suggestion... Glad some life is still flowing through this Guild, again...about damn time, in my opinion. P.S: I'm a VERY good RPer... least thats what people have told me. If you want proof, I'll give you a link to a RP I'm heavily involved in, as well as one I just started/Am starting. So, If you want a RP, ask me. I will most likely do it... the fact the owners have paid attention at last has given me encouragment to do some RPing....

thats one of the old gang heard from.... including me of course....now how many others will see that the Guild still has life in it and respond I wonder....my guess? few, judging from past experiences.

Lazurkri: If you want you can start a new RP for this guild. Just remember that it has to be AVATAR related.
Also, I was thinking that if we hold an art contest like Ivan suggested, we could get some Na'vi art for people to use in profiles for RPing. From what I see there aren't many original Na'vi art just lots of characters from the movie so that could help with bringing people into the guild and the RPers who don't have reference pictures.
I think to do both these things we need to advertise outside of the guild for recruiting and so people can enter the art contest. I think perhaps I should make the rule that they have to join the guild too...
What do you all think?
