With the Ark being discovered on the planet, and being established as the new Eotronians base, as well as the home that most of the large robotic aliens had relocated to. The return of the Eobot leader Optimus Prime, In the optics of the Eobots, was a wonderful event, an order was being reestablished, and there kind didn’t feel as lost in this planet as many of them had been for years.
The same could not be said for the other faction, the Deceptihan, Megatron had vanished, they hadn’t found where he had fallen, and the remaining Deceptihan had either disappeared under the radar, or in a couple of surprising cases, joined with the Eobots in their peaceful occupation of the earth.
Jazz couldn’t be more happy about the situation, his own kind were growing stronger, they had a place to stay that wasn’t intruding onto the organics’ habitat, but still close enough to be able to be a part of their life. Jazz was easily one of those Mech who was fascinated and adoring of the organics, everything about them and their culture was just amazing to him.
Optimus wanted to keep good relations with them of course, while the others had opinions that included uncaring, and downright dislike for the organics. Jazz was grateful Optimus took a more fond look on the smaller Eoghan, even opening the Eotranian ranks to organics who wished to join.
The white mech’s good mood was indicated through the smooth strut through the fields, the special ops commander making his way toward the tall post office, where he knew he would find a few of his fellow Eotranian, as well as organic friends he had made during the years living around them.
While the Eobot were still getting things set up and repaired at the ark, Jazz had stepped up to continue relations with the organics, enlisting help from them, and exchanging for goods and equipment until they could get on their own claws again. Radio booming from his chest, Jazz’s visor glistened under the sun as he lifted his head higher when the sight of the post office started to drift up over the hills, causing the corners of his beaks to twitch up into a pleased smile.

Bumblebee could be considered, among other things, a mech of rooted values. Despite his forte in the shady field of espionage (given his undeniably, well... small size for a bot), he held values such as courage, compassion, and friendship above all else. For without those things, he could not think of a reason to be online.
And it was because of this upbeat attitude that Bumblebee could be considered lucky compared to some; it had made the transition from life on Eotron to life on Earth a much smoother experience for the young bot. It was perhaps true that this was in part due to his size, which was comparable to that of the organic Eoghan that called this planet their home. However, he didn't think much of it. He liked the organics for many reasons other than simply their size. They were as colorful a species as he'd ever met (both literally and figuratively) and he found their instinctive ways naturally easy to relate with. In fact, one of his best friends was an organic.
Bumblebee optics slowly opened, the bright sun reflecting shades of blue off of them onto the outside wall of the Post Office. "Must've dozed off..." he mumbled to himself, rubbing his helmet with a large paw. He felt a little bit foolish; after all, everyone was working so hard to get the Ark into as good a shape as they could, and here he was POWERED DOWN! Shaking his head, the mech stood up, stretching out his front legs sleepily with a creak.
As he began to feel a little more awake, Bumblebee thought of something- it had been at least a couple of days since he'd seen Tori. She was a female organic whom, despite being on the goofy side, he had become fast friends with since his time at the Post Office. Bee frowned; she definitely hadn't been quite herself for the past few months or so, and he knew why. But he wasn't quite sure what to do about it. His beak turned in a little grimace, the yellow bot gazed out towards the grasslands where the Ark sat dormant, and sighed.

Jazz wasn’t the largest, or heaviest of Eobot’s , but his step was heavy, leaving noticeable impressions in the soft ground below as well as no guessing as to who might be approaching. Like all Eotranians each movement was accompanied by a whir of gears, or hisses of hydraulics and the dull thudding of heavy claws on ground. It was difficult being in such a delicate environment, adapting to it especially, when there was so much that could be damaged so easily by the large mechanical Eoghan, and since they arrived, Jazz had noticed signs of their wear on the setting, gashes in the ground, clips in the building from one too many mech trying to push past doorways. Mostly little stuff that others would say Jazz was looking to far into, but when you had a visor that was programmed with the most sophisticated reading technology on his world and this one, it was hard not to notice everything.
At this particular moment though, the small blipping on his visor was homing in on a familiar yellow gleam by the post office. Optics flicking sharply, changing to settings to zoom in, Jazz grinned, just who he expected to be there. His trot sped to a canter, the white mech hurried to get to the post office, deep, rich voice calling over his music.“Yo Bee! Brotha’ somethin’ told me I’d catch up with you here.”Tail swished behind him, beaming at the smaller Eobot as he stepped around the tree, ducking into the shade to stand in front of Bumblebee.

If the bright white armor hadn't tipped Bee off to Jazz's presence first, then the low and pounding sound of the mech's bass definitely would. The two had an interesting relationship; first commander and subordinate, to equals stranded on an unfamiliar planet, and now back to being fellow soldiers for a cause. But Bumblebee didn't really think of it like that. After all, Jazz was most definitely one of the easiest-going Eobots on Earth, and this was something the yellow mech could appreciate.
But with the concern of Tori still fresh in his mind, Bee couldn't help but feel a small pinch of sadness in his spark when Jazz showed up. You see, he had figured out some time ago that his organic friend was, well... very fond of Jazz. But even though she was too shy to ever act on these feelings, they seemed to be one-sided. Now, Bumblebee would certainly never hold this against Jazz, nor did he ever have the urge to bring it up to either of them. After all; the organic "heart" seemed to be just as fickle (if not more so) as their own sparks were, and that was a subject he had no intention to force.
Forcing a smile, Bumblebee lifted a paw and waved heartily to Jazz, flagging him over. "Aw gee, I'm not THAT predictable, eh Jazz?" he asked with a small chuckle. "But hey; it's been a while since I've seen you up this way. So what brings ya' here?"

“Came down to pick up a package for Optimus, got some parts comin’ in that’ll help with a few repairs for the Ark.” Jazz answered with one of his good natured grins. Shifting his claws back to sit down, curling his tail around as he peered down at Bumblebee through his blue Visor, the glow of his bright blue optics casting down through the bottom opening, to gleaming off the metal of his face. “what ya up to little Bee bud?” Bumblebee, while young, was probably the epitome of what it meant to be Autobot. Something Jazz could easily see lacking in many of his own comrades. Bee might have a lot to learn, and experience, but Jazz had high hopes for him, So did Optimus Prime.
No sooner did Jazz ask Bee when he was doing, did Jazz notice a lack of a presence, that had been almost religiously seen around Bumblebee. The lack of a feminine voice ticked him off, his hearing was highly sophisticated, but still, he picked up no familiarity in the surrounding aria. Tori was Bee’s best friend, they were always together. “Yo, where’s Tori off to?” As he asked, his head slowly drifted around, clearly scanning the aria curiously.

Before Bee could open his beak to respond, he quickly closed it again, unsure of what to say. Friends were supposed to be there for each other, so the fact that he really, truly couldn't say where Tori was... was a dishonor to their friendship. "I... really don't know, actually" Bumblebee mumbled, his optics dimming a little as his head hung low.
Lately it was like she was... in her own world or something, and he wasn't quite sure how to handle it. When they were together, the two still joked, talked, and got along just fine. But the atmosphere would always turn gloomy soon after, and Tori would always seem to have to "be somewhere else". Raising his head a bit, Bumblebee looked at Jazz. "To be honest, I haven't seen her for at least a couple of orbital cycles." He was starting to worry, and wasn't about to hesitate to make it known; even at the risk of his own pride. As a warm summer breeze swept swiftly through the air, brass bells that were strung in the upper-most level of the Post Office chimed obediently in response to the gust. A few loose pieces of yellow and tattered paper scattered less willingly across the old, creaky floorboards inside the tower, kicking up dust as they went. Sunshine flooded in through a few holes in the roof, illuminating the dust and giving the large room a soft glow.
The only other things inside the room were gears and pieces from the huge (and very broken) clock that could be seen from the outside of the Post Office, a few equally large Eoghan-feather pens that had seen better days, and a dozing white and blue female Eoghan. She let out a tiny cough as she sucked in some of the dust, quickly waving her paw to fan it away. It was a very warm day out, and though the cross-breeze high up in the tower felt nice, the dust was something Tori could live without.
But besides that, the tower had become almost a sanctuary to the young female. Not many cared to explore such a rickety old place, which made it one of the most quiet spots she could find. Tori raised a back paw and scratched vigorously at one of her ears before getting to her feet. Making her way towards a small set of steps, she gazed out one of the many holes in the roof towards the plains. The wind tousled her brown and white fur in the same direction as she clicked her beak. Why did everything seem to remind her of what she couldn't have?

A deep harmonic hum rose from Jazz’s chassis, beak turning down in a more troubled look, though a lift of one side accompanied his pondering. As organics went, Tori was easily the one they were most familiar with, having a strong friendship with Bumblebee, and had an important paw in with the events that lead to Optimus Prime’s return. Bee knew her better than anyone, so that fact that he seemed so worried about Tori’s unusual absence troubled Jazz.“Couple days ya say?” His visored gaze drifted back to settle on Bee, shifting himself back onto all fours “Do ya think they’re somethin’ wrong?” if need be he could find her, he was pretty sure of that, if something was wrong with Tori, well... it was just in Autobot programing to want to help.

Was something wrong? Hoooo boy. Where could Bee even begin with that one? Well he certainly wasn't about to mention the problem with Tori's spark- erm, "heart". But the way she'd been acting made him suspicious that there was much more to it than that. There was her sudden bouts of aloofness, the fact that she'd barely visited the others over at the Ark since its relocating, and also...
"Well, you wanna know something kinda weird? Optimus Prime invited everyone who was around the last time old bucket-head showed his chassis to join the clan, right? But the thing is, Tori never did take him up on that." Bee frowned a little, before sitting up on his haunches and crossing his front paws unhappily. "I kinda always thought she'd be, y'know... all for that." As Tori stared out blankly towards the plains, the wind whipping about her long brown mane, something bright stirred in the corner of her eye. Looking down, she was a bit surprised to see none other than Jazz and Bumblebee on the ground far below. Craning her neck forward to get a better look, her ears perked up curiously. The organic Eoghan's eyesight was quite good, and though her hearing was nothing to sneeze at, it just couldn't compare. She opened her beak instinctively, about to call out to her two friends, before she quickly clicked it shut. She frowned- what on Earth was the matter with her?! It was just Bee and Jazz! What was she so afraid of?
That seemed was a question she'd been asking herself an awful lot lately; and every time she came up with the same answer. Crouching back a bit, she gave the two mechs below another quick glance before heading back into the broken tower. She sat down and began to preen her wings- whatever they were talking about was probably none of her business anyways.

His head jerked back with a sharp whir when he heard that. “She didn’t?” this took Jazz by surprise, that she wouldn’t join their clan, when they practically thought of her as a member already. Jazz frowned at this, confused. “I thought she had accepted I didn’t know she wasn’t part of the clan yet” he admitted. Okay, he had heard enough to know that there was something up. reaching a claw up to the side of his helmet, the tips of his claws making some manual adjustments to his visor setting, a couple of soft beeps indicated that it was ready for use, and he shifted his stance to face the field. “Alright, let’s go find her, at least make sure everythin’ is rollin’ smooth” Optimus Prime was rather large, maybe the invite from him was a little intimidating… not that Tori was one to intimidate easily. She told off Twincast all the time, that idea made him chuckle a little. “Got a lot of Eoghan here Bee bud” Jazz informed him while he slowly scanned the aria for heat signatures, though he paused when he had turned to face the tower. “Well, what we got here, hidin’ little one, structure matches our girl though” his Visor flipped up into his helmet, freeing his optics that clicked softly, staring up at the tower “YO TORI! YA UP THERE DOLL?”

Bee was a bit taken back by Jazz's very sudden success. But why the clock tower...? He'd never been up there himself, but from what he knew it was pretty old and delapedated. For Tori to be perched in such a place... just didn't add up to him. Still- Jazz's sensors were rarely wrong, so Bee turned his head upwards and called "Hey Tori! If you're up there, give us a holler!" Tori's fur stood on end a bit when she heard her name not once, but twice. Had they seen her when she was looking outside?
She frowned. Technically they didn't seem to know if she was actually up there or not, so answering them was kinda of... optional? But then again, they must have been calling her for a reason. What if something bad had happened? What if Megatron was back? She closed her eyes as she mulled this over, but without even realizing it she was already heading towards the large gap in the wall she'd stood at before. Deep down, she didn't want to feel like she needed a reason to talk to them. Peering outside, she called back in a half-hearted tone "What's wrong?"
"What's wrong?" Oh man. She rubbed her face with a paw. She'd probably sounded like a total ice queen just then.

Jazz smiled when she peeked out, it was the way she responded that drew a hesitant pause from him, the frames of his optics clicking together sharply a couple of times. That didn’t sound much like Tori. “Well fer one, ya ain’t down here with us, yer all the way up there. Ain’t seen ya in a long time girl, why don’t ya come down and chill for a bit? Yeah?”He sat back down, flashing his usually jazzy smile.

Tori could feel a little bit of warmth around her face. Heehee... Jazz wanted to hang out with her... and he called her "doll"... Wait, what?! She shook her head, snapping back to reality. Enough of that! It never did her any good, anyways.
As the giddy schoolgirl feeling started to fade, butterflies took their place in Tori's stomach. She took a deep breath- they just wanted to say hi was all. That was it. No big deal, right? What was the harm, after all?
Swallowing, Tori stretched out her front paws and extended her long talons, hooking them into the side of the building. Face-forward, she began to descend down the wall, grasping the old stone structure with each "step". There were the tell-tale signs of many others having done this as well in the past, as indicated by bits of stone missing here and there on the wall. When she was at a low-enough height to be safe, Tori detached her talons from the wall, and instead used her wings to parachute down the rest of the way to the ground.
As she landed with a soft "thud", Tori looked at the two mechs. Compared to her, they were startlingly large, but this wasn't really something she noticed anymore. Clearing her throat a little, she sat down on the cool grass and said in an attempted casual manner "Y-yeah. I guess it's been a while, huh?" Despite all they'd been through together, this mini-reunion couldn't help but feel bittersweet. Bumblebee's optics blinked a bit in surprise. "I guess it's been a while"? He couldn't remember the last conversation he'd personally had with her, let alone she and Jazz! Something was definitely up. Maybe...it was the heat? After all, organics were more susceptible to things like temperature than his fellow bots were! It could even make them sick! Feeling satisfied with this logic, Bee tilted his head at Tori. "You feelin' sick, Tori? Or is anyone buggin' ya? Just lemme know and I'll take care of it!"
Even if it was Twincast or Starscream, he wasn't gonna stand for anything like that! He just HAD to be able to do something!

Watching Tori as she started to climb down the Tower, Jazz took a few strides forward to meet her when she landed, blue optics scanning over her quickly when Bee asked if she might be sick, the organics were susceptible to that, but she seemed to be healthy “Bee told me ya’ve been pretty recluse for a while Lil’ Lady”The idea that maybe one of the other Eotronians might be giving her a hard time was certainly an option, Twincast was a black sheep among the Eobots, and having a couple of Deceptihan now in the clan."got us a little worried, S'up?" He sat back down, glancing over to Bee before waiting for Tori to answer his question.

Tori folded her wings loosely at her sides, ruffling them a bit. Well, she had thought she'd been doing a decent job at acting unconcerning at least. She frowned, her head hanging a bit as her cheeks flushed pink. Tori didn't really like the idea of making her friends worry about her or putting them out- it just wasn't in her personality. "N-no. Nobody's been giving me a hard time or anything like that." Her beak clicked as she bashfully puffed out her cheeks a little. "I don't really mean to make anyone worry. It's enough that you guys have had such a handful with your ship's repairs, anyways." Bumblebee's optics widened a little in surprise as he was taken aback by her response. "Dude, the Ark's not goin' anywhere anytime soon, trust me." He paused, then smiled a little. "Y'know, you should come down with us and see how it's coming along some time! It's starting to look almost not half-bad!" Maybe she was feeling left out, and all she needed was a little time hanging out with the others? She didn't really seem like the type to hide-away for the sake of being stubborn, but then again, organics could be a fickle bunch. ESPECIALLY organic females.

He grinned again, looking over to Bumblebee, and nodding in agreement to his suggesting “S’lookin’ pretty good, least got all the stuff growin’ on it off… though now ya can see all the dents and cracks” he added with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. Bowing his head a little to get down to more her level. “ya always got a place with us, ya don’t need to worry ‘bout that. F’somethin’ is wrong we’re here, ya know that, right?” he added, patting a large metal claw on the ground in front of them. “So yeah! F’yer not busy, why not come back with us for a bit. M’sure everyone would love to see ya again, Rosanna been askin’ bout ya”. Maybe some time with the others would be good for her, he couldn't imagine being hidden away in a tower would be very much fun. going to the ark would be good for her, and after all the help she did in fighting Megatron, cutting him off from his power stream, he's sure Optimus Prime would like to see her again as well.
