Name:Myamoto, Tsubame/ Yaiba

Alias: Seijin(sage)/ Ketsueki nomimasu (blood drinker/ he who drinks blood) [plz anyone correct me if these translations are wrong]

Age: 135/over 600 (it's over sih hundreeeeed!!!)

Gender: Male/Male

Side: neutral/neutral

Alignment: Good/Evil

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual/ blood.. sexual? doesn't exist? ok then, asexual

Personality:
Tsubame- Kind, caring, soft spoken and deeply spiritual. Bears great guilt for his very existence and constantly searches for someone capable of killing him.
---
Yaiba- psychopathic, homicidal, constantly laughing (albeit maniacally), incredibly intelligent and crafty despite his insanity, loves blood(the taste, the smell, the color, everything about blood) more than anything

Appearance: Tsubame is fairly tall and wears the traditional robes of a Buddhist monk along with many prayer beads hung around his neck. He is rather thin for his height and looks physically frail. His head is obviously shaven as is the way of his discipline, yet he retains a youthful appearance despite his age and wardrobe (this is because of Yaiba being in his body). His left arm is completely wrapped up in medical tape but this is just to cover up the scrolls of heavenly seals he's wrapped around it underneath. He also had a prayer bead bracelet for extra insurance. His eyes are of a deep-sorrowful gray.
---
Being stuck in Tsubame's body Yaiba has lost his original appearance but you can tell that he has awakened by the sudden growth of a large, shaggy white mane of hair as well as the more evident myriad of scythe blades that rip out of his right arm, as well as the few that poke out of his back and the two placed at the back of his caffs. His presence also makes Tsubame's Eyes turn to a wild red and his teeth grow to fangs.

History: In life Tsubame was a traveling Buddhist monk who worked tirelessly to aid those in need. Though he had quite the talent in exorcism and the banishment and purification of demons, his true calling was charity work. He would help build shelters for those without homes, He would work tirelessly to bless the fields of farmers, then work hard in them so that they may produce ennough food to sustain their village until the next year. He gave his all for not only the blessing and protection of people's lives but also worked tirelessly to improve their way of life. However, as much as he was known with the commoners for his kind soul, it was his spiritual powers that drew the attention of lords wherever he went, no matter where he was it always seemed like some wealthy man was willing to pay him mounds of gold for the exorcism of some evil spirit, or the slaying of some demons. He had no need for such frivolities and he much preferred spending time with the people but he took the jobs anyways and always made sure to pump the nobles with too much wealth for all they were willing to give. This was not out of greed since he only ever kept ennough money to feed himself and keep him healthy on his travels, the rest he re-distributed among the people later. This earned him the respect and admiration of many peasants and he soon found himself with a small gathering of like-minded people who wanted to travel the world and spread Buddha's love for the world, helping those less-fortunate than they. Tsubame grew close with these men and women of purer hearts and soon the group wove between them the ties that bind those related by blood.

One day however, After having done battle with a particularly powerful demon for over four days, Tsubame, returned to his group with a particularly bad wound to his left arm and a slight fever. Fearing that the demon may have placed a curse on him with his dying breath, Tsubame bathed in water purified by the nectar of sacred lotuses and wrapped his arm in bandages soaked of the same holy water before heading off to bed. This however, was still not ennough to prevent him from having a terrible nightmare of bloodshed and destruction the likes of which he'd never though possible. The next day, he awoke to find himself sleeping in a pool of blood and torn flesh, his friend's bodies strewn all across the camp site and his hair having mysteriously grown to a wild, blood-soaked white mane over-night. As the horror of what happened revealed itself to him he heard a mad-man's laughter echo in his mind.

"Poor whelp, had you thought you'd finally purified me? laughed the demon Tsubame thought dead. No, my body simply rotted away because I had grown tired of my weak host. Now child, you will be my new vessel, and with your powers i will make blood rain from the very heavens!"

The laughter still continued in his mind and Tsubame saw his left arm, warped and perverted from the presence of the demon that now inhabited it. He could not take the horrid truth of what he had done and immediately climbed a mountain side, all, along the laughter echoing in his head and driving him to insanity. He could no longer take what he'd done, he found a tall cliff with sharp rocks at it's basse and threw himself from it's top, plunging to his willful death.

However this was not ennough, two day later he awoke again, once more in a sea of flesh and blood. No conventional means would kill him now and free him from this hell. He later decided to resume his pilgrimage. He cut his hair once more, wrapped his demonic arm in holy scrolls to seal away the demon who lived inside and vowed that as long as he was alive he would continue helping the poor and unfortunate as well as search for someone strong ennough to kill him to compensate for the murderous impulses of the demon that now inhabited his body.

a hundred and ten years later he still walks the roads of japan, not having aged a day, searching for one who could kill him and stop the demonic transformation that occurs within him once every four nights.

Weapons: Tsubame does not know the use of weapons but has become (excluding the Mantra weapons he can summon, but those are special) extremely proficient in non-lethal hand-to-hand and hand-to-weapon combat over the past century. If needed however he does posses a large scroll with him at all times containing various healing, binding and purifying mantras. The stronger purification mantras can even be used to free a human's soul and send it to the nirvana if needed.

Yaiba on the other hand only fights with the blades that protrude from his body and his extremely resilient and agile demon body.

Powers: Tsubame has gained excellent speed, strength and recovery capabilities from having Yaiba sealed away in his arm but as long as the sealing scroll remains wrapped around his left arm then it is nothing super-human. The ability to read divine mantras however is something not usually found in humans. Even monks who have attained nirvana can rarely read them and use them to their full potential. on RARE occasions where he feels he absolutely needs to save someone's life he will remove the bead bracelet around his left wrist and draw on a small fragment of Yaiba's power, allowing him to increase his speed, strength and recovery rate by 10% and to summon two scythe blades from his right arm.

Yaiba can't use the scroll but his speed, strength and recovery abilities far out class Tsubame's and he can gain more strength by drinking a large amount of blood.

Weakness: Though Tsubame's body can not be killed permanently, he can suffer from a temporary death until the next time Yaiba takes over his body, this only makes him half-immortal. Also every time he dies there is a possibility that Yaiba could take over permanently.

As powerful as Yaiba is, Tsubame's holy powers prevents him from taking over his hosts body completely, restricting him to his left arm. He needs to accumulate power for four days before he can take over the body and use it as he will, however he can only do this for a maximum of twelve hours before being sealed away again and relinquishing control to Tsubame. Living in the body of a monk, holy seals are no longer lethal to him but they do drain away his powers, allowing Tsubame to re-take control of his body more quickly.

Also he has a tendency to drag out the battles so that he can inflict as many wounds as possible. His obsession with blood can often be used as a means to defeat him or lure him into traps.

Likes:

Tsubame- people, helping others, people who seem strong ennough to kill him once and for all

Yaiba- blood, killing, blood, the taste of blood, the smell of blood, the feel of blood, and ..... more blood, oh, did i mention blood?

Dislikes:

Tsubame- Yaiba, people who pick on the weak and defenseless

Yaiba- The fact that he can't take over Tsubame's body permanently, the absence of blood.

Name: Clair-Jaques Sebastien DuRoi

Alias: The Sleeping Demon

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Side: Yami

Alignment: Chaos

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Personality: Completely narcissistic and two-faced, Clair cares for no one but himself and believes himself to be the most beautiful person ever to have been created. He knows how to act kind and humble but it is all just a facade. He know no loyalty and will betray anyone of his friends if it mens it will profit him in the end.

Appearance: He has smooth, silky silver hair parted in the middle that falls on either side of his face and ends at his chin as well as a long braided pony tail which falls all the way down to his thighs. His right eye is covered by a thick eye flap and his left one is smoky gray. He has a beautiful round face with soft, effeminate features and snow white skin as well as small hands, he is often mistaken for a woman.

he wears clothes very similar to these User Image except his are beige and white with gold trim, show his stomach and cover his arms.

History: as his name suggests Clair was originally from france, and he was also born into money. His father owned a wealthy trading business that handled the trade and transport of nearly any material or product legal or not, between europe and Asia. Even as a child he was spoiled rotten and given anything he wanted. Though technically not a noble clair sure as hell knew how to live like it even when barely out of the cradle.

This of course all changed when he was eight years old. He'd gotten bored of France, bored of Europe, He wanted to go to Asia and see what riches they had (of course so that he could then take possession of it) He wanted a change of scenery and thew a fit until his father gave in and took him on his next trade voyage. The voyage who would prove to be their last as the caravan was barely past the Chinese border that it was attacked by highwaymen. The merchandise was completely sacked and the traders and their guards all killed mercilessly, including Clair's father. Clair himself was taken prisoner and stripped of all his possessions. The young European would probably have been sold as a slave and still live as one even today if the raiders hadn't fallen on the path of a Chinese demoness on their way back from the raid. She was a woman garbed in the same dresses as Clair now wears and feared through out the land as an indestructible monster, a peerless warrior known only as the "Sleepwalking Demoness".

The warrior woman was no avatar of justice and it was not out of pity for the boy or his decease father that she killed every last raider that day. In her eyes those men had done nothing wrong other than catch her on a bad day. The only reason she hadn't slaughtered Clair along with the rest of them was because of the looks she saw in his eyes. Even after seeing his father and the rest of the traders murdered, even after having been beaten into submission and made a prisoner, even after seeing the men who captured him be brutally killed in turn, his eyes showed no weakness. Young as he was, Clair was not scared, nor was he sad, nor was he relieved to see the woman thinking her a saviour. No, he was happy. His eyes shone with a twisted thankfulness. Those men had taken from him and now they lay dead on the ground as they deserved. His eyes also showed rebellion as if he was telling the demoness that if she tried to take from him, she too would be punished. The child had been turned into a demon from his spoiled life, caring for no one but himself and looking down on everything around him.

Because of this the demoness decided to spare him and take him under her wing as her new apprentice. She would teach him the ways of the Sleeping Demon Fist and make him into a warrior without parallel just as she.

Of course this life wasn't much better than a slave's and many times Clair was beaten within a inch of his life by the demoness, but he became strong, and he became beautiful, and he learned how to be independent and take whatever he wished rather than have to ask to receive it, and he soon learned that one of the things he loved taking most, was lives.

Now, fifteen full years after that fateful day with the caravan raiders Clair has traveled from China to Japan with his master in search of powerful warriors so he may complete his training as a sleeping demon. He has Joined the rebel group Yami in their battle against the Shogun simply because he saw it as an opportunity to fight the strongest and bravest warriors japan would have to offer as they undoubtedly served the Shogun. He has not seen his master in nearly a year now but continues in his training none the less, waiting patiently for the day when he would meet her again and be made to travel to yet another strange country."

Weapons: Clair fights completely bare-handed. His hands and feet are deadly enough weapons for him.

Powers: Clair's fighting style is a complicated one that requires an extreme amount of chi to master. The Sleeping Demon Fist lets it's user use his chi to make his body light as a feather by closing his eyes. This way Clair can move at inhuman speeds and strike at his foes without relent. The downside however is that in the lack of weight behind the strikes Claire's relentless assault offers nearly no damage to the victim, serving only as a distraction and a means to throw you opponent of balance and get through his guard. The real danger in this art is a technique called 'Demon's awakening'. Whenever Clair opens his eye his chi completely changes in nature and gives him the strength of a hundred men, however his body also becomes extremely heavy making his strikes slow and easy to dodge, 'demon's awakening' is only useful when you have worn and tired out or thrown off balance an opponent with the sleeping strikes, making them unable to dodge the single finishing strike dealt with the awakening.

Clair has also learned several 'forbidden' techniques with his art but they always come with severe repercussions to his body or mind and he always rather not use them if necessary.

Weakness: Due to the fact that Clair needs to throw his opponent off-balance or tire his opponent out extensively before being able to successfully land an awakened hit, fighting multiple opponents is never easy for him. He also fights bare-handed meaning he has to get in fairly close to his oponents.

Each of his 'forbidden' techniques also has a specific weakness that can be exploited.

Likes: himself, European foods, expensive things, killing, his master

Dislikes: his master, people who think they are prettier than him, people who ARE prettier than him, ugly people, anyone who damages his face, cheap things, smelly animals.

Name: Shiro Kūdō

Alias: "Void"

Age: 20 (unknown)

Gender: Male

Side: shogun

Alignment: good (sort of)

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Personality: Shiro Is over-all a good person. He doesn't like to see people suffer needlessly and often tries to help people any ways he can. However he is also slightly twisted from the curse he bears and is obsessed with 'the void' whatever that may be. If he sees that someone is hurt his form of 'help' will usually be 'returning the poor soul to the void' aka killing them painlessly. He is also very depressed concerning himself and feels he is worthless and useless he constantly seeks to fill the void inside of himself but realizes he is nothing more than a parasite to anyone he comes close to. he is easily manipulated because of his disposition

Appearance: User Image

History: Shiro doesn't remember much of his past. All he remebers is waking up two years ago in a cave, and being completely, bone chillingly cold. Tho this day the heat hasn't returned to his body. Shiro suspects that he isn't alive, or at least not completely, but he's given up on finding out about his past for a long time now. All he knows is that he's cursed now. To live without a soul, to live with a constant, hungry void within himself that always seeks out more power to devour. He knows that whenever he makes physical contact with someone, if he's not careful the void inside of him will devour their souls within seconds, so he keeps away from people. But he can't live like a hermit either, because if he doesn't absorb energy around him on a constant basis, he'll starve and go crazy from hunger, loosing all will and self-control. What he has learned to do is control the radius of his absorption over the years as to spread out the absorption from one victim that will lose it's soul to a large number of victims all around who will only lose a bit of life energy. He's learned to spread it out as far as to steal energy from anyone within two hundred feet of him. As such people rarely notice the difference as far as their own energy reserves go. But for some reason, anyone of whom Shiro steals their essence immediately becomes extremely unlucky, so many a village has kicked him out for being a 'jinx' when he spent too much time in there, forcing him to stick to densely populated cities instead.

Weapons: the void in him takes teh shape of any weapon whose essence he has absorbed.

Powers:
Shiro has also noticed that if he focuses his essece absorbtion on a single person. If that person had any special traits or abilities then Shiro can steal these abilities for a small amount of time. he can also store essence and use it later rather than as soon as he steals it, he can combine essences as he pleases.

Weakness:
- essence can disappear mid-battle
- even stored essences burn away after a while
- he needs to either touch his oponent or their ability to stea essence mid-battle

Likes: people, euthanasia, the void, people chsen by the void, people who worship the void, feeling loved, people who praise him

Dislikes: feeling alone, feeling hated, feeling useless, people who try to return him to the void, the void.
