Miya ran down the dusty halls, and dark, dirt filled tunnels.She knew them well. She had played in them as a child, and that was the very reason she was there now. She ran to stay alive.
" It's useless..." A very familiar voice whispered into her ear.
She trips, and rips the beautiful lace on her dress. Miya looks around to look for him, but he isn't there.
She gets up, and runs again. She can't waste time. She's in his little game now, and if she runs out of time.. shes over.
Here she is. His ultimate test. The Cross Roads of her life, and death. One path leads to a light, and the other to darkness.
Now she has to choose.
Left or Right?
Neither.
Straight. She is half way between the light, and darkness.
She begins to run again. Faster, faster, faster. Until, nothing...
She can't see in front of her , and she can't feel the walls of the tunnels she had chosen anymore. She turns around, and sees a light coming from the way she just came.
" I told you before, you can't run from me. Not anymore." The voice comes from behind her, but nothing is back there.
She turns back around to where the light is. Someone steps a few feet in front of her blocking her way back. She goes up to him. " What do you want with me?"
He laughs. " You already know that." he whispers as he takes her hands.
She tries to pull back, but she can't. She's stuck, and then she feels nothing. He's killed her, and he lays her body on the cold stone floor before he walks away.
He'll be back though.
Her time hasn't run out yet. Will she rise again? Only time can tell her fate.
