The existence of God is just a story the world was told so that we would be better people! A good idea, in theory, but mostly people who believe in God are good people OUT OF FEAR. Fear is not the right message to convey. I think everyone should be rational and don't do anything considered immoral, but not have their judgement blinded by a "greater being" MIGHT not exist, and people should be free to be themselves, as in...
Homosexuals and cross-dressers should not be instantly hated by religion, just because the Bible says it's wrong.
Any moral and rational thoughts and feelings people have should be accepted and acknowledged by everyone who it affects.
People should be free to be themselves. Just because someone likes to dress a little less modestly, work in a different business, or marry someone they love doesn't make them bad people.
Finally, everyone should do what they think is right.
If you want to shoot me down, delete this topic, or ban me from the guild, go ahead, but, in your life, remember what you have just read, and think about it. Accept other theories. Let people be themselves. Now, I know I may sound like a hypocrite, writing this post that denies God, while saying to accept other theories, but I have nothing wrong with religion. I just think that everyone needs to learn to be more open.

There are many things in this world that actually prove God's existence. Many illnesses are not cured or alleviated by just medicine. I was ill with a blood disorder not too long ago, and many of my doc's tactics didn't work. It wasn't just a coincidence that my platelet count was up into the hundreds when I had surgery.
I understand that you would think that way, but there is evidence that there is some supernatural hand in our day-to-day lives. Being a Christian, however, does not just convince people to become better people, it is a relationship with the God who has created us all. Being a Christian also isn't fear of being killed by God, it's a healthy respect of Him and also a love for Him who first loved us.

Proverbs 14:12 tells us:
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Good works, church membership, or baptism might "seem" the right way to Heaven, but God says that our ways will produce failure.
God’s Son, Jesus Christ, clearly states: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
There is ONE road to Heaven: Jesus Christ!
How can you get eternal life through Jesus Christ?
1. First, accept that you are a sinner
Romans 3:10 reads:
"...There is none righteous, no, not one."
And again in Romans 3:23, the Bible says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Our sins have separated us from God. Before Jesus will become your Saviour and give you eternal life in Heaven, you must first know and accept that you are a sinner and in need of Him to save you.
2. Second, agree that your sin must be paid for with death and hell.
Romans 6:23a reads:
"For the wages of sin is death..."
Revelation 20:14, 15 continues: "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
According to God’s Word, we are all sinners, and our sin must be paid for. If we fail to trust Christ in this life, we will die without Him and spend eternity separated from God in a literal lake of fire called "hell."
3. Third, believe that Christ died for your sins and then rose again.
Romans 5:8 reads: "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
I Corinthians 15:1-4 brings good news: "...I declare unto you the gospel...that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
The best news that anyone could ever tell you is that God loves you and Jesus died for you. All our sins were laid on Him. He paid our sin debt in full. He then overcame the power of death by raising back to life.
4. Fourth, turn from your sin and trust Christ as your personal Saviour.
Romans 10:13 reads: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
You can believe that God loves you. You can believe that you are a sinner and that sin must be paid for; but if you are not willing to trust God by accepting the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour, you will die without Christ.
Acts 20:21 reads: "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
God promises in Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Let us review for a moment.
1. Do you accept that you are a sinner? (Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23)
2. Do you agree with the Bible that sin must be paid for? (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:14-15)
3. Do you believe that Christ died for you, then rose from the dead three days later? (Romans 5:8; I Corinthians 15:1-4)
4. Do you see that you must turn from your sin and trust Christ as your personal Saviour? (Romans 10:13; Acts 20:21; Romans 10:9)
If you now understand God’s one and only way to Heaven, then do not pass up your opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
"...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation..."
(II Corinthians 6:2b)

OK... Its NEVER and ILLUSION!~ I agree.. just read the name of the GUILD! and.. may i ask whats your religion? if you are a CHRISTIAN.. I'd be totally... eek shocked... anyways.. here's the proof's for ME:
The universe:
They say, (or at least scientists say those) that the universe started in the big bang and suddenly there comes the sprang up of life and now the evolution... did you EVER ask yourself how things SPRANG UP TO LIFE? how did the BIG BALL OF FIRE CAME FROM? or at least HOW IT IS FORMED? well, they can answer your question to: HOW IT EXPLODES but! never ask the question where did those bacterias that turned to animals and how those stuff sprang to become a living thing... and plus... why is the universe perfect? the earth is not so far or near the sun.... the fact that it can be a PERFECT place to live in! and...
okay... you say you do not believe in him... just ask you one question, this may be far from the topic but...
IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT GOD EXIST...
it means it alright to KILL,
its alright to STEAL
its OK to COVET... its OK to LIE!
AND, it means there is no such thing as happiness or LOVE!
Love because: GOD TAUGHT HIS PEOPLE LOVE IS THE KEY TO FOLLOW THOSE COMMANDMENTS WHICH ARE SUMMED UP TO BE: LOVE thy neighbor's as you LOVE thy self.
and let me ask you a question again... its also not allowed to right? because you know that it is bad... most likely, you know its a sin..(oh well, you don't consider that anyway).
then.. who created those Do not's command? People? who gave them knowledge that its bad to do so? that it will hurt others? YOU CANT ANSWER SATAN!
WHO GAVE US KNOWLEDGE TO KNOW BETWEEN EVIL AND GOOD?
Another Proof is Jesus Christ... specially about his resurrection.
Here are some proofs that Jesus body is NOT stolen form the grave:
It is secured for a LARGE BOULDER to cover the entrance... and when the body is found LOST... they paid the guards money and told them that the disciples stole the body... but they could not prove it, because if they really stole it, nobody would've tell that they saw him or the disciples must have roamed the body to tell Jesus is risen.
here's another one. a hypothesis that the girls(that includes Mary and others) went to the wrong tomb. it is confirmed not true because it is a private cemetery, not a public one, so it is confirmed that it is the ONLY one there... and no other ones, since it the only one empty... and the owner made sure of it.
Another one: they say Jesus just fell asleep while he is on the cross and did not DIE. its just because of loss of blood and pain that he lost his consciousness. then, when he is put in the tomb, there he sat there and on the 3rd day he pushed the BIG BOULDER away which is now found on top of a land far away from the tomb.. now here's the proof it not true:
-How can he survive 3 days in the tomb without food, medical attention that needs he strengthening... remember: even tho god can do that, it is not fair for he loves his people so much he need to fill the scriptures in.
-How can he push a big boulder up the hill or somewhere when he is weak? rolleyes
-plus! he showed up 11 times or more to people that know him in ONE piece... with nail marks...of course.
Now... Why do still doubt Jesus or GOD? it because god wants himself to be known... simple, that he want us to be curious about him and come to him... give up,repent,and join him in his happy presence... BELIEVE ME: SOME ATHEISTS BECAME CHRISTIANS! xd

Oh boy, here we go again. I DO NOT FEAR GOD!!!! I love the Trinity.That's all I have to say. I'll pray for you and the others that come here only to cause trouble. BTW, true Christians do not reject or hate gay people,etc., only what they do. Peace and Blessings heart
