XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ Xellos grumbled slightly to himself as he walked along through the trees, not even caring about what direction he was going anymore. He still couldn't locate Sherra, and his already thinned patience was about to snap. Giving the current clearing a quick glance over for any sign of her, he contiued on his way. This would have been a lot easier if he could just teleport to where she was, but the part about not knowing where she was made that option completely void. Why did there have to be such restrictions on things like that.?

xxx Cerras rushed through the forest, searching around for Sherra and Xellos. She had to get there in time, she couldn't let Sherra die like it was planned. She hid, making sure Xellos wouldn't see her before she stopped him from killing Sherra. It might completely ruin the plan! The silver-haired mazoku let a shaky sigh escape her. Where are they? Where are they?! Her mind was on overdrive. If she didn't find them soon, she swore she'd go crazy.

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ Sherra watched the two from above, floating at an angle where she could see both clearly; there behavior was very amusing to her, and a small smirk came onto her lips. He was trying to keep a promise, while She was attempting to stop him. All over a girl that was already back in hell. Both had to be dealt with, but, the question was, who to go after first? She could targer little Cerras; she wouldn't be expecting it, and it would be fun to put Xellos through soul wrenching guilt before slaughtering him. But if she were to kill him first, then not only would he be out of the way, but she'd also get the lovely show of Cerras in absolute agony over losing the man she claimed to love most. Either way sounded entertaining. As she continued her debate, she noticed a sphere of magic coming towards her and easily moved to the side. Looks like Xellos had spotted her. Oh well. Guess she'll just have to go with the second option. She shot down towards him, clearing the distance in a matter of seconds, drawing out her sword in time to deflect another attack. "You came all this way just to try and kill me? You're pretty cruel, Xel." she said before swinging her sword at his head.
Xellos grumbled under his breath as he blocked her blade with his own, glaring at her from beyond the steel. She was still trying to masquerade as his partner; it really pissed him off. He threw her backwards away from him and then sent several powerful blasts in her direction. She wasn't going to get away this time; he was going to make sure.

xxx Cerras jumped in front of Sherra, putting up a barrier to stop all of the blows sent over by Xellos. Tears were already streaming down her cheeks, because she felt she was going against Xellos. It felt as if they were enemies. "Stop it, now." She murmured bluntly, before continuing on. "This isn't Sherra's fault!! Can't we find a way to do this without killing her?! This is the one quality I HATE about monsters!!" It was always kill, kill, kill. If they couldn't think of a way fast enough, they thought it was best to just get any pest out of their way. It wasn't right. Sherra wasn't at fault, it was Dulgolfa. What's a way to get rid of Dulgolfa? She thought to herself, grabbing for her swords to let Xellos know she was serious about keeping Sherra alive.

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ Sherra's cold red eyes narrowed when Cerras moved in front of her; did this stupid little mutt actually think that she needed protection?! "What a foolish little half-breed you are, turning against the one you supposedly liked. You're pathetic." With that she swung her sword at Cerras's back, aiming to hit her with both the blade and the magic that was eminating from it. "As if you or Xel could do anything to me. He's just as pathetic as he was a thousand years ago."

xxx Cerras gasped when she noticed the sword impale her. The silver-haired mazoku placed a hand over where she was stabbed, her golden-yellow eyes wide from shock. " I-I... w...s.." She bit down on her lower lip, the sword had nearly impaled her heart, and therefore, she could not think so well. She could not feel the pain due to becoming the Lord of Nightmares, but that didn't mean her body was not in any shock. As she was shot away by the magic, Cerras fell to the ground, struggling onto her feet. She couldn't let her weakness get the best of her. Cerras glared at Sherra, her eyes giving off a strange glow, then she disappeared from sight, teleporting above Sherra. She then swung her swords, in two directions. She hoped one would impale her while the over developed magic.

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝ She sensed Cerras's attack at the last second, and agily leapt out of the way, but was unable to avoid the blade stabbing through her shoulder. Even though she was bleeding profrusely, she seemed completely unaware of the injury. Still, this was already becoming rather boring. She couldn't risk having this body become even more damaged, and fighting both at the same time would be rather tedious. There was something else she could try. "Hell Vision!"
Xellos narrowly dodged the attack, his thoughts going wild from the spell, and it took several minutes to shake it off. When he could see clearly again, Sherra was gone again. He immediately hurried over to check on Cerras, hoping that her injuries from Sherra hadn't been too bad. And he wasn't sure if she'd been effected by the possessed girl's final attack.

xxx Cerras was relieved that the attack hit, and sighed as Sherra cast another spell, Hell vision. The silver-haired mazoku barely dodged it before landing on the ground, still holding a hand to her wound. It didn't hurt, and she knew why. But she was afraid to tell Xellos, or maybe he already knew? She turned her head to look over at him, only to see that he was already at her side. He seemed extremely worried, and that bothered her. Cerras forced on a reassuring smile, continuing to place pressure on her wound. She knew even if the wound did not hurt, the bloodloss would still take toll on her. If she got herself killed again --- no --- she couldn't. It would only cause more troubles for Xellos. "Xellos..? I'm OK. I promise." She murmured, of course it was only a lie.

XELLOS ╚══════════════╝
"Don't lie. You're not fine." he said bluntly; this was one of the few things he disliked about her, her unceasing stubborness. It was very frustrating, especially since it was most obvious when things were at their worst. Without even bothering to inform her, he started casting healing spells on the wound. He'd finally found one good thing about his condition; white magic didn't bother him as much as it once did. As soon as it was gone, he got to his feet, and held out his hand to help her up. "Come on, let's get back to the manor." thanks to the injuries caused by Cerras, it was unlikely that Sherra would remain nearby. He'd have to wait until another encounter arose.

xxx Cerras frowned slightly as she noticed Xellos was healing her wounds. She hated how he was always able to see what was going on with her, no matter how good her lies were -- sure, they'd know eachother for years, and were extremely close; but that did not mean some things about him did not bother her.
The silver-haired mazoku grabbed onto his hand, leaning against him somewhat when she got to her feet. Even when she couldn't feel the pain, she could feel the effect it was taking on her. She hoped that would fade in time as well. Perhaps it would make things easier. She let out a small sigh, forcing on a smile once more.
Cerras did not want to admit that she was still upset with Xellos for what he had said to her before. She couldn't look at him the way she usually could, she had to fake it. Everytime she glanced at him, her heart ached. Even when he was frustrated with what was going on with Sherra... why? Why did he have to say such a thing to her? This was why at times she would be better off dead. She believed it would make everyone happier if she never existed at all.
"Alright. Let's." She murmured softly in reply to him, and then disappeared from sight.
