The Rules Each fighter will start with 500 HP. (unless otherwise stated) Each fighter rolls 1 100-sided dice. If you win a roll, you take no damage. If you lose, however, you take damage. The difference between the rolls determine how much damage is done. First person to 0 HP loses. If someone rolls a 100, they automatically win.

It was not a single entity that entered this arranged battlefield, but two! As one would expect, Discord appeared in his truest form, that of the armored lich. The bewildering part came when beside Discord. A shirtless human who bore the same cloak as him stood with a blank expression on his face; this was Discord's human shell. Thin tendrils were attached to the human shell's back, with Discord controlling the shell as if it was a puppet.
"These shells are mere extensions of myself," the lich explained. "I can control them, but they lack true power as my soul does not inhabit them."

"Let's do this!"
"I have to admit, that's pretty neat there." Alnette nodded, clearly impressed. However, she was eager to fight. Rather than relying on one of her weapons, she recited a quick incantation, a small golden sphere forming near Discord. With a snap of the Baroness's gauntleted fingers, the sphere detonated.

"Excellent..."
Discord's skull chattered with glee as his human shell sustained heavy damage. The lich had not expected Alnette to use such an attack yet, but it was better than he had expected. The damaged human shell slowly began to crack like a fragile vase.

"Either you've gone completely mad or you have something planned."
As effective as the sphere had been last time, Alnette decided to try it again, however, rather than exploding near Discord, it exploded near her, causing her to take a bit of damage. "I hate when they backfire like that..."

The misfire was unexpected, but more than welcome. Discord willed his human shell to attack her while it could. Weaponless, the human shell delivered piston punches and swift kicks to the baroness. Each attack deepened the cracks on the damaged shell.

"Heh, not bad!"
Alnette hardly seemed bothered by the attacks and made no attempt to defend against them. However, after a short amount of time, she grabbed her staff and swung it wildly. She felt using a blunt weapon would be more fun than using her sword.

Discord had his shell put up virtually no defense at all. Alnette's wild attacks hit their target and damaged the human shell drastically. With each step the shell took now, there was a cracking sound is if glass was slowly shattering.

"You've got something planned."
Alnette closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating. Slowly reciting a different incantation, she grabbed a small vial from a pouch in her belt. If one would look closely, they'd notice it was a few seeds in water. She threw the vial and finished the spell, the seeds within growing at an extremely fast speed. The plants seemed to be cactus like globes, covered in very sharp thorns. After growing to about the size of a pumpkin, the thorns shot from the plants. Unable to control where the thorns were fired Alnette managed to protect herself from the thorns with a quick shielding spell.

"How entertaining."
After his human shell sustained more damage, Discord discarded the fleshy puppet. He attacked Alnette himself this time. The thorns simply bounced off his armored body whilst he prepared an attack of his own. Extending his hands, Discord summoned his signature skull-shaped energy sphere. The chattering sphere was thrown at the baroness at lightning fast speed.

"Time to see if my armor actually works like it's supposed to."
Because she was eager to test her 'armor' she made no attempt to dodge. That itself was a big mistake as the armor proved to be nearly completely ineffective. The force of the sphere was enough to knock her off of her feet, though she was quick to stand right back up.

Discord was about to press his attack further, but there was a problem. The sudden outburst of his power took its toll on him. As well as receiving a backlash of residual energy, he was now partially immobile.

"This is fun."
Alnette knew better than to not take advantage of a situation like this. Staff in hand, Alnette recited an incantation and very much like her first attack a golden sphere formed next to Discord. This time, Alnette was careful when she detonated it, doing her best to stop it from backfiring. She had more planned, but she wanted to wait to use it.

Taking a huge risk, Discord sapped away his remaining strength, creating a black orb. The orb swirled around the lich, but did nothing; it appeared to be of no real concern. Discord, however, knew exactly what he was doing. However, it was quite risky. Because he gambled so much on his puppetry, he had lost so much energy already.

Alnette decided simply to attack Discord with her staff. She was avoiding the use of her blade for a reason, though she doubted Discord would know her reasoning.
