It has been brought to my attention that there has been an air of tension in the guild over the past few days, and I think it is time to bring this issue to everyone's attention. Therefore, this is a temporary thread that will remain up for a few days, after which I will assume everyone has read it. It is NOT AN OPTION to ignore the following post; consider it a warning, and if I find anyone acting inappropriately after posting this, there will be little sympathy.

I think the main objective of this guild is getting lost amongst some of our members. Yes, this is a guild to battle pokemon teams, to trade pokemon, to find out about the latest pokemon news - but first and foremost, this is a place to make friends, meet people with a similar passion for pokemon and help each other improve our pokemon skills. The one thing that sets this place apart from all the other pokemon guilds out there is friendship; no other pokemon guild on the whole of Gaia has members that are as active, as friendly, as kind and as willing to co-operate with each other and pitch in wherever possible. It is not an easy thing to achieve, and it is something that should be treasured, celebrated and enjoyed by every single person in the PWF.

Yet it is not. It is being taken for granted.

When the basic rules of this Guild were written by Arcanas not all that long ago, there was a rule zero; a rule that came before all the others, and one that I think needs stressing now. That rule was RESPECT. Without respect, this guild will descend into personal jibes, insults and grudges that will escalate and tear apart everything that makes this place fantastic. Please don't misunderstand me; I'm not suggesting that everybody adores each other. There is a large difference between respecting someone and liking them; you don't have to be best friends with a person to act in a respectful and civil manner towards them in this guild. In the end, to get respect yourself, you must give it.

Now, I don't care much for whatever issues anyone may have with each other outside of the PWF; you do not bring it inside. Arguments and squabbles that occur - and yes, they will occasionally occur, we're all human and we all have bad days - will happen, be dealt with and then left in the past, not brought up again and again to inflame tempers and incite trouble. What is more, problems that arise between members DO NOT need any involvement from anyone else whatsoever. There will be no taking sides, no deciding who is ultimately right and wrong in any situation; if the issue at hand is serious enough, it will be dealt with by a mod, otherwise it can be dealt with perfectly well by those who it concerns alone. Anyone getting otherwise involved will be assumed as deliberately trying to cause trouble. Put simply, if you can't quite get all of that into your head, then just remember this:


If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

From this moment on, let it be known that it is mandatory all members at least maintain a level of civility that is appropriate for a group of people simply trying to enjoy an amazing phenomenon together. We are all responsible and intelligent pokemon lovers, not a bunch of five-year olds in the playground. The slate will be wiped completely clean and all recent nastiness forgotten; anything that has happened in the past STAYS in the past, and I can not stress that enough. There will be no pointing fingers and no naming names from anyone. Any more childish, abusive behaviour I witness in any section of this guild from now on will not be tolerated in any which way, and that applies to all of you. Action will be taken, and you have been warned.

Now, let's go breed some frickin' Charmanders or something ^.^

it is human nature to feel ALL emotions EVEN anger and it is also as importent to just ignore the mad person and well if you cant under stand that every one is diffrent and every one gets mad over diffrent things...well i cant help you confused and once again its human nature to have emotions

on another note: trolls will be trolls and well you cant change them iv tryed and failed every time and well the best solution iv made was this
1. ignore them
2. take a break from the computer and do what makes YOU happy
3. if they bug you again say something that they cant make a flame about...like mine is 'TWO CAMELS IN A TINY F***ING CAR!!!' ik it sounds funny but hey...it works for me
