im doing a salem witch thing cause my mom told me to make a summer project and ..i picked salem witchs and i can do other villages two >< and well i need help...like between what year did it start and ended and other details like the accuser witchs and stuff like that...

The Salem witchs came out of the Purtian ways.See the purtians were a group of people that believed in the ways of god and related everything to the bible.Some purtians said that they were above others so they were the chosen.The chosen would pick what happens and what ever they wanted they would get.Like if one of the chosen wanted land they would accuse someone of witchcraft and they would get killed(Mostly hang or thrown to the bottom of a lake and if they got back up they were a witch).Some purtians did do witchcraft to try and connect with god in the spirit world.Thats the most I know about the Salem witch trails.
