ok for me was when Gaara dies (anime naruto) zero no tsukaima 2 (the last episode) when saito fights and die for Louis Angel Beats the last episode ( don't say what happen because that could ruin the whole anime blaugh ) and when Bart realizes that Sherry has died (vandread 2)
I'd say most of Elfen Lied and quite a few parts from the Higurashi series. They're both great animes in my opinion however horrendously ******** up.

I'd have to say when Mello and Matt died in Death note also when hellmaster phibrizzo killed off all of Lina's friends in Slayers Next but the ending was awesome >w< heart
