Mirielle felt flushed. Never before had she felt feelings like the ones she's been feeling lately. Standing near the lake where she first met him, the breeze blew and cooled her down.
"Ah... it iz to feel so good out here." she breathed, sighing and taking in the fresh air, feeling the breeze pull gently at her hair, even though she kept it tied. She waited for her brother to show up, hoping her plea for assistance would not be ignored. She hadn't exactly seen her brother in a while, as it was, and her sister had no desire to see her again.
She had always felt rather close to her brother though, and knew when she left with the pirates she would definitely miss him the most. She fondly recalled the old days when they played together.
But now, she needed some advice. She had fallen in love with her captain... and had no idea how to handle these sudden feelings. She took a few steps closer to the lake to look at herself, her bracelet jangling at her hoof, and her pistol clenched against her side.

Sommer hurried through the trees towards the lake. Miri was the strongest, most savy of his two sisters and when she had come to him asking to talk, he'd become alarmed. What could it be that Mirielle couldn't handle on her own? The ideas that ran through his head made him worry all the more and his protective side rise up. By the time that he made it to the lake and saw her, he dashed to her side.
"Who...who do I have to..k..kill.." he panted, catching his breath.

Mirielle looked up as her brother arrived, and smiled at his words.
"Non non, brothzer, zere is non to be someone to kill." She said, trying not to laugh at her brother's overreaction. She took a deep breath and told Sommer her problem. "I... I am to be in love." She blushed, realizing how silly it was, but that was exactly why she needed help. "I am non to be sure how to feel about ze such feelings zat are to be roaming mon coeur, and it iz all very confusing... Sommer, you understand the feelings, non?" She said with a smile.

:Sommer's mouth opened and closed a couple times. Love? Well gee that not exactly what he was expecting...
"I..er..ah...uhm..well..." he began, stumbling over words. "Oui, I underztand zese feelingz Mirielle. Zey are..never zimple...how to put it uh..." He thinks.
He sighs. "Well Mirielle, let uz start zis way....iz zis one whom you love a good herla?"

Mirielle nodded, blushing once again thinking about him. "Oui, he iz ze Capitaine Essex, and he iz a little strange, but very much a good person."
She sighed and smiled. "He iz to be so entertaining, and always haz a story to tell. He's so mysterious too, with ze way his eyes are always covered by his red hair..."
She shook her head, remembering that what she needs is advice. "So, vous would know... perhaps how I could tell him zat I love him? He iz to be a bit dense..."

Sommer's heart fluttered a bit everytime his sister mentioning she "loved" someone. It seemed like it was too soon to him! That was his sister! She had to stay cute and innocent! Not be ravaged by love and lovers!
Sommer's nose crinkled and he made a face. He'd just grossed and weirded himself out.
"Denze vous say..." He looks thoughtful. "Well Miri, I am zinking zat ze bezt zing to do iz to juzt...tell him right out. If he iz non to pick up on ze subtle signalz, zen vous have to be right out zere and zay it!"

Mirielle nodded, taking her brother's advice to mind. "To juzt say ze words to him flat out... it may work! And perhaps moi can be taking hiz head out of ze clouds... He iz such ze cuckoo lander." she said with a small smile and a slight eyeroll.
"But he iz still very nice to moi, even wiz ze cloudhead. And when we finally get on ze boat to travel, I will bring back souvenirs, oui? For vous and Maman and Lapi all of ze family... Perhaps zen zey will forgive me for running off like zis." she said, slightly sadly. She was going to miss her family dearly, but she needed this adventure to make her truly happy.
