Anything about it, even random non-important tidbits, would be great. I'm 15 and possibly moving to Brisbane in the next few months. Thank you for your time!

Brisbane is usually pretty warm but down south where I am (Canberra) is freezing in winter and very hot in summer. Thats the typical weather for Australia.

The most common natural disaster (apart from droughts) are bushfires down south and floods up North. (I'm talking about the East side of the country, I have no idea about the West).

The people in smaller towns are more friendly (but you have to deal with the bogans) as opposed to city folk and the city folk drive insanely.

Our current government is pretty crap and I'd vote for neither candidate at the moment.

We drive on the left side of the road.

There is usually a fair bit of road kill on pretty much any country road.

Sydney is disgusting

Compared to Europe our petrol, electricity and grocery prices are alot cheaper.

You have to be 18 to get into clubs, buy alcohol and buy smokes. (Most places check ID as opposed to Europe where no one checks it).

Carrying knives is illegal.
You have to be 16 to buy knives.

You're allowed to grow your own marijuana crop in Canberra.

My work sucks.

Our country is over run with feral introduced animals (cane toads, buffalo, goats, rabbits, cats, foxes, horses, camels, pigs).

Our country is one of the fattest in the world.

And thats all I can think of right now.

Also, when in Queensland, squish cane toads! F****** b*****d creatures...

I know my area is...they do drive-by dealings outside my house for goodness' sake! gonk

Watch shows like 'Talkin' Bout You Generation' and 'The 7PM Project' so you understand more of Australia

Do some research on people like Kevin Rudd, Rove McManus, Ben Cousins, Dave Hughes, Shaun McCallef, Julia Gillard and Bob Hawke.

You might wanna Google terms like ranga, bogan, uggies, tracky dacks, true blue, etc. so you can understand what we're talkin' about, mate.

Tips to stay alive [in Perth, anyway]:
Don't say anything good about England in front . Nor the Queen.

Don't dis McDonalds.

At the beach~Try not to melt. Keep hydrated. Sunscreen is creamy gold and will stop you from burning!

Get yourself a pair of thongs, that should go without saying.

Don't even joke about anything remotely against Australia. You'll most likely end up with a broken face neutral

By all means, attempt an Aussie accent. Just be prepared for the response..
