Unfortunely Steampunk is not my lifestyle, half of my life is spent in a chef coat. For me Steampunk is my hobby for which I am passionate about. For years I have done many hobbies but with Steampunk I can use all of them. I like making clothes, gear, and anything I can. Dressing up and playing my persona is better then LARPing. Writing and telling stories is so much fun. Most of all being around people like me, polite creative people who want to have fun.

Off topic: Oh my, another chef? biggrin
Anyway, I would say that yes, steampunk is in a way, my lifestyle. It inspires a lot of what I do at the very least. My writing, my fashion style and a bit of my persona, in the wanderlust and constant tinkering. I absolutely must know how things work!
And after all, the world is beginning to lack proper gentlemen scream We beed nore steampunks~ wink

i've liked the style for a long time but didnt know what it was called till last week. its not my lifestyle, i wish it was though. i like sprucing up objects to make em look more steampunk-ish, thought i have limited resources. now id like to learn how to work with metal and learn more about steam power. it seems very interesting. i love the fashion, and would like to make some outfits. i guess its my new hobby.

For me I'd have to say Steampunk is some far off fantasy. Currently being unemployed, I have no way to purchase a Steampunk attire. I'm not nearly creative enough to come up with my own gadgets and what have you. It's just a really nice idea tucked away in the back of my head for the day that I become an eccentric millionaire.
Who wants to join me on my Airship? wink
