Ok now that we have decided to keep the war decisions a secret from the others I purchased a subforum for the crew only. We can talk freely here about anything concerning the members or the war. so...yeah.

oook .. sounds like a plan to me !! .. ook here is what im contemplateing as a back story
Many years the arts had faded to only be known as elven magic, many
scriptures and books being known by the people to be forbidden and to
be thought of only in the tales of the yester-years.

" Sire the diggers have hit something" the smallish goblin speaking
with a slight lisp took a few steps backward.
" Ahh its about time !.. " a young man looking no older then
20, turned in the nigth sky, his face scarred on the one side and
cloak wavering in the slight breeze.
Approachign the hole in the side of the moutain a magic feild and
feeling that power lay inside took the young mans body by surprise.
His foot fall become slower and looking as if life was being drained
out of him, none of the goblin diggers dare to step foreward. Evil
magic lay at rest here and those that seek to disturb it are to be
feared more then the magic itself.
The torch light burnt back the wisp of cob-web and laying on a
pedestal made for a kings crown was smallish sized book.
The magic pulsed from within it ! Grasping them the young man energy fled back to him ten fold. placeing the leather cross strap across his chest he stepped out of the cave.
The moonlight hit the young man standing upon the rubble that the
golbins ahd worked so hard to dig away. As reflection hit the cross
that hung from his neck, the slight reflection cover the worn leather of the book.
"Listen to me, " He spoke with the voice as strong as the wind
" I Mehareth, shall lead you ! .. We will gather forces of the night a
march againist the Realm of Mystic Fantasy. With this.." Holding the
book to the sky he laughed " they will never know what hit them. !"
" Umm. Sire " a piercely whte goblin stepped forth " What is
that.. the book looks aged and all us here feel the power, but the enitre Realm ..its vast"
" I mock your ignorance of the past times, this is THE book
of the Necromancer. Controller of the dead and King of the Realm. I have written my future. And you.. " Looking angerly down at the white
speciemen before him " Will have your written as well if you choose to
opose me !@! It is written in this text that he who masters the art
of the afterlife, may master the world. And i plan to fullfill that
prophecy" ~*~

Mehareth, paced the tower, he had been planning a strike against the
kingdom for ages and yet all had been postponed ! He was now
frusterated but his time was fast approaching. Looking out of the near
by window , he saw the bustleing streets of Drus-Leona. All the people worked so hurrly below, most of them trying to scrounge together enough money to feed thier poor families. With a chuckle Mehareth turned and looked at his study, a high ranking goverment desk job, paying more then anyone down there could ever dream of getting thier hands on.
" Its easy to live with nice things, when the mere mention of a family name pays for them.." he sneered at his own remark and returned to the window, vistors should come on time.. though to his experience they never did.
The crowd seem to bustle into one blurr, but in the distance a sharp moveing object was fast approach the tower. Standing out like a sore thumb, yet blending in with the movement of the crowd the darkly shrouded figure reached the stairs of the tower. With a slight glance upward the reflection of what almost seemed to be Cat eyes was quickly down turned once again.
The knock at the door came so suddenly it startled even Mehareth, no man would ever be able to make it up the stairs so quickly... His thoughts lingered on as he opened the door, ushering in not a man but a woman.
The door shut abruptly behind them and laying back the hood the face of a beautiful night elf was disclosed. Though takeing closer look revieled that this was no night elf but close kindred.. a drow. The Drows lived beneath the moutians, farther then the mines and the dwarfs themselves. Evil and selfish by nature, their very core was built on the goverment ruled by women, men seen only as tools to make thier race more populated. As undergrounders the drows eyes could be distinguished from anything, the glassed over Nocturnal glow was constently filling the wide stare.
" Lentinia..." he gasped as the words fell from his toungue " I do say you have grown much since the last time of our meeting, and have become more beaautiful in that time as well " his eyes lingered on her as if she was a piece of property, that he was most definately intrested in.
" Watch your words, you filth written male " she spit at his direction and glanced upwards with a sign of nobility " You may lead this world yet to come, but never shall i look to you as superior, mother speaks of you as equal but the stench of you make my eyes cringe. The scar that plagues your face should have taught you better!"
" Why no need to be hostile, this is a friendly meeting of ways. Its it not ? " he laughed at her rebel streak, her up bringing had been done by one the best, but she would be tamed soon enough. With a smile of future plans he changed the hostile situation over. " So what news do you bring from your mother, Mother Brandice." Eager as a little kid on christmas he saw the scroll in Lentinia's hand.
" I bring good news !" the voice that followed was searious yet thrilled to be involved " We march on Tibar in two fallings.. the army is prepped and I myself am leading them !"
A silent shout of joy came from both of thier faces, this had taken 15 years to put into action and now all those alliganced to himself shall be called forth ! and the War of the Realm would begin !!!
"I have my generals stationed in a camp just east of Eeyre Lake, I will grab the troops lying in Drus-Leona and headed out at first dawn. Send my thanks and humble regards to your mother." Mehareth bowed and smiled as Lentinia left the room, gorgeous and strong willed she would be the queen at his right hand, tamed and trimmed !
The door shutbehind Lentinia, and immediately Mehareth paced over to a trunk, laying just below the window. The opening of the chest echoed through the Study, it was far to quite but it was makeing the reality just that much more intense. Grabbing a parcel wrapped in silk he slowly unfolded the sides, laying in his palm was a smallish sized book the cover reading " The Magics of the Underworld : the art of Necromance"
and as for characters -- heres what i got so far
War has hit the Realm .. all those must rise againist and band together !@!
Leader - Mehareth Flynsben- Father was favored war veteran from
years ago and family is some of the
noblest in the realm. With the control of
the "Necromancer's Books" he controls
the souls of the undead
Generals - Sycthe - Troll Warlord- pledged alligance to the Dark
Side, Controls eniter Troll army
Lentinia- Drow- in alliance with the Dark Side, Beautiful
but deadly,has charge over the Drow troops
and Dark Magic.

They did quite well. Of course, with my dialup connection, I'm not patient enough to wait for all of those graphics to load, but the ones I did see (most of them) looked pretty good.
Edit: Whoa. eek Seriously love Infra's banner- I know it's too big for the guild page, but maybe as a homepage pic? And for sigs and stuff...

Oh- about that 'war bulletin' thread... How much are we going to tell them? And... If it's acceptable, I could phrase it as a sort of newspaper article- something like this? LOOK OUT REALM!!
Several suspicious groups of armed troops are moving through Mystic Fantasy, all seem to be recon teams for the moment. They appear to be headed for the major cities, although one group is a bit too close to the lake for tourists' comfort- though, whether or not those tourists know of the armed group is questionable. Or is that too much information, or not enough? If it's not enough... maybe we could use that as the first post, then a follow-up for informative purposes could mention what's in those groups... This would all be OOC, of course, right? Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it.... sweatdrop

well I vote Fox takes the Buliten. And If you need anything done Ice just let me know. I've kinda removed myself from the rp for a little bit. I have an Idea of how I can continue but i just needed a little break and Terrens vanishing act will work in good with the myserious troops moving in. But Fox, try not to completly write me out of the thread. I'll be comming back mrgreen

Okays, I'm pretty good at writing it so that I don't actually say you're there, but I don't say you're not there, so you can slip back in retroactively.
And Ice, I'd love to take care of the bulletin. Just tell me in general terms what I need to put in. Do you want me to just leave it at what I wrote above, or add their species or a 'highly dangerous' warning, or some other special info I need to include?

Okay, how's this for a rough draft? (I'm going to post it document-style) LOOK OUT REALM!!
Several suspicious groups of armed troops are moving through Mystic Fantasy, all seem to be recon teams for the moment. They appear to be headed for the major cities, although one group is a bit too close to the lake for tourists' comfort- though, whether or not those tourists know of the armed group is questionable. All of these are highly dangerous and should be avoided at all costs- no one knows the intentions of these intruders, and they are all heavily armed for combat.
They appear to be of races common to the realm, yet diverse- no one group is exclusively one species. Whether or not a mysterious warrior-rider who has recently appeared near Eeryre Lake is connected to these movements, is a rumor yet to be confirmed.
The intruders may or may not be repelled from the realm quickly, and if someone sees a member of one of these reconnaisance teams, you are advised to avoid contact at all costs- repeat, avoid contact at all costs. We are currently unaware of their intentions or viciousness. Is that acceptable?
