Rules
1) Each combatant starts out with 500 health points
2) Each combatant rolls a 1 100-sided dice
3) If a combatant wins a roll, they receive no damage
4) The difference between the rolls determines the damage to the losing combatant
5) When a combatant’s health points reach 0, they lose

Discord stood waiting for his feline opponent. The humanized lich appeared rather excited. Though his face was a blank slate, his eyes housed visible excitement. He rather enjoyed the company of Casus and knew him to be impressively strong. To Discord, this would be a duel to remember.

"Good evening, Casus. I am indeed well, thank you."
Once Casus had made his appearance, Discord prepared himself for battle. His massive Fatum Ferrum appeared in his hands. Though heavy, Discord wielded it with ease.

"What an impressive looking weapon,"
Casus smirked, he could feel the energies around him crackling,
"I'm sure you're familiar with Nocturne." He said letting it rest on his small feline shoulder.
"Though, I'm curious, if you'd like I can put on a more 'human' body, that way the battle is 'fair'."
As he spoke an aura began to encase the field, one that took the form of a heavy fog that drifted from Nocturne's lantern. Soon the field would be encased and Casus merely awaited an answer.

"I am familiar with your weapon," Discord said with a nod. "And choose whichever form you like."
Discord was breathing heavy as he felt dark energy surge through his body. His Fatum Ferrum was draining his energy (it does this whenever one with fleshy hands touches its hilt). This was normal for Discord.

"Very well, Charles, perhaps later I will be able to form a human body."
Casus let the heavy mist continue to drench the field, he merely gazed at Charles with his burning red eyes. His tails began to wave back and forth, if Charles was capable of falling for the simple illusion Casus would have a major advantage. However Casus would give the honor of the first attack to his friend
"I believe it is your move,"
Casus continued to stare, not blinking once, and not ceasing to let the mist fall while his tails waved.

"Keheheh...!"
With a smirk, Discord raised his massive blade and aimed it at his opponent. The accursed weapon pulsed and blasted a bolt of black electricity at the feline. Discord had no doubt that Casus would dodge the attack, but this was only the beginning.

"Very well"
Lightning arched towards the feline, the malevolent energy twisting towards him at blinding speed, his tails had given him an immense burst of luck, which in turn altered his physical capabilities. He weaved through the bolts of lightning and countered with a technique of his own,
"Exitium!"
Nocturne began to ring, louder and louder the ringing grew, until a tiny point of amber light emitted itself from the tip inside of Nocturne's crescent. The light continued to shimmer as he raised Nocturne to the Heavens, as he did, a single thin beam of light descended in return. It touched where Charles was standing and as the ringing continued it suddenly ceased. Following the beam of light, the point of light had become the size of a tennis ball, but shimmered like a star. It hurtled towards Charles as it rode the beam until it connected with the ground. The forces of creation exploded into a sphere of destruction, the sphere growing to a width of two yards, and then exploding upwards in a violent surge.
It was a seemingly explosive way to start off, but Casus knew Charles was tougher than that, he surely would've survived the attack if it hit him, though he wouldn't have been surprised is Charles merely avoided it.

Unable to dodge Casus’ attack, Discord simply braced himself. He managed to created a black sphere and encase himself in it before the oncoming explosion. After Casus’ attack connected and the dust had finally cleared, Discord appeared with mild burns on his bare upper body, but other wise virtually undamaged.
Discord had to applaud Casus’ attack; it was indeed very powerful. There was a moment where he believed his human shell would be unable to withstand its force. Shaking off the attack, Discord unleashed another attack. Red lasers shot out of his eyes in the direction of the fighting feline. This was Discord’s fear-instilling assault. This magical attack would cause anyone hit by it to experience the illusion of their greatest fears. The illusion itself also drained the target’s energy. Discord doubted Casus’ feared anything, but he thought it would be amusing to try.

"Well this should prove to be interesting."
Casus was stricken by the beams and at first he felt the beam's energy piercing into his thoughts. Casus struggled against the penetrating effect, using his own experience with illusions to try to halt the advance. However his focus slipped as the beam burnt into him and caused a shock to go through his body. He experienced his worst fears, fears that he prayed would never happen, and yet somehow they were. The Destined had won, the Dice Gods were slain, and Casus was alone. He stood in his Familiar's jacket, Nocturne was broken, and he was was in the Battledome. He blinked once and gazed at a figure standing at the opposite side of the arena. He thought it was Charles and he attempted to move towards him. However he stumbled over a body that lay before him, his feline body inspecting the corpse closer, and ,noticing all the red that the body was dressed in, let out a sound of immense discomfort. Alnette lay slain, her body laying on the arena floor, her blood mixing with her crimson garb. He stumbled upon another body, this one was Lady Emma, then another this one revealing itself to be Charles. He panicked and gazed at the figure, rage boiling in his eyes,
"Fate."
In his anger he managed to gain a sliver of focus before attempting to break from the illusion, he succeeded minimally managing to ground himself in between reality and the illusion that pestered his thoughts.
"That was painfully,"
he winced as his mind continued to struggle
"Clever."
Mustering his strength from his confusion, he let forth a simple burst of bad luck at Charles, if anything it was merely something to buy time, so he could recapture his focus.

"In truth, I was surprised the spell even worked," Discord admitted.
Just as Casus ha recovered from the fear-instilling assault, Discord thrust his sword into the ground and began to wave his hands about, gathering energy. A skull-shaped energy sphere appeared in his hands. Chattering, the skull grew larger and larger until it was about the size of a watermelon. Once it had reached the size Discord had wanted, he launched it at his feline opponent.

"I really should've blocked that attack."
Casus said under his breath, a paw grasping at his skull, as his vision fluctuated between reality and fiction. He let his claws slide out and quickly p***k his forehead to bring him back into focus. There he noticed a large skull shaped blast hurtling towards him. He held out the very paw he used to p***k himself with, the nails pointed with specs of his blood, to defend himself. The blood reacted to his magic and began to become stringy, like whips of plasma, he swung his claw in a downward swipe, and smashed the ball of energy. It still exploded outward and caused Casus to receive minor burns, but other than that he was fine.
Casus began to move forward, his mental problems seemingly being solved, he swung Nocturne in a full circle, and with a wide sweep shot forth another wave of negative energy.

"That was my most basic attack," Discord said while nodding.
Discord grasped the hilt of his accursed sword and removed it from the ground. Dark energy surged within and out of Discord, taking the form of electricity. One would think that it was painful, but the humanized lich did not even flinch. The negative energy collided with Discord's body, but it appeared to do nothing (most likely being canceled out by the surging energy). He simply closed his eyes and began to utter and incomprehensible spell. Seconds later, the sky darkened. Tremendous bolts of black energy rained down from the sky in all directions.
"Dark energy takes the form of electricity and ravages the land," Discord whispered.
