The Rules
Each fighter will start with 500 HP. (unless otherwise stated)
Each fighter rolls 1 100-sided dice.
If you win a roll, you take no damage. If you lose, however, you take damage.
The difference between the rolls determine how much damage is done.
First person to 0 HP loses.

Haew sat waiting for his challenge to be accepted or denied, his katana unsheathed slightly. He stared at the inscription written on the blade, one side "The Queen made me" and the other "But I make the King."

"Haew right?" The baroness smiled as she approached him, a polearm in hand. "If it's a duel you want, you have one. I need a good fight." She bowed her head politely. "You may make the first move."

"Why thank you Baroness" Haew said, unscrewing a small jar produced from the inside of his coat, along with a matchbox, lighting the powdery contents of the jar, a light rain arriving. "We won't be in danger of a cold from it, but I find a nice light rain is perfect for duels." Haew laid his hand on his katana, not drawing it yet.

"It is refreshing." Alnette closed her eyes and relaxed for a moment before lunging at him, slashing with her polearm. It was a light attack, only a preview of what was to come.

The polearm sliced his upper arm as he moved to the side. The rain washed the blood away from the cut quickly. The rains main purpose was to control him, besides being cool. He moved forward, but stumbled, losing his footing, leaving an opening for Alnette to deliver a swift blow to the stomach

"Hm..."
Alnette was quite relaxed. The cool rain helped her focus, especially with the hot weather she had been exposed to lately. Rather than slashing with the bladed end, she jabbed at Haew's midsection with the blunt end of her weapon, attempting to knock the wind out of him.

The jab hit, causing him to double over, gasping for breath. He waited, regaining his wind. "Sorry, I meant to give you a better fight than this" he said, grinning weakly. He reset his grip on his katana, drawing it, and slashed forward.

Alnette was impressed by his speed. Unprepared, she had been unable to dodge, the blade leaving a nearly vertical slash on her side. "Not bad, not bad at all."

Haew smiled, letting the blood was off the tip. His luck soon turned back to before, his second move thrown off, causing his blade to go far right, but close enough for the tip of the polearm to inflict a small wound to his side.

The baroness took a deep breath before once again striking at Haew with a viper quick strike of her polearm.

The polearm slashed along his shoulder blade, but Haew pivoted, the katana returning to its sheath, Haew stepping forward once, then drawing his katana and slashing at lightning speeds, a deep horizontal slash across her midsection, followed by a cloth-slicing return slash just below her neck, the katana back resting in its sheath.

"Impossible!"
Alnette let out a grunt of pain as his katana tore into flesh. Blood flowed freely from the wounds, but it was quickly washed away by the rain. How could he move so fast?! She jabbed at him, but he quickly knocked her weapon aside and left a gash on her right side.

Haew's ability was as fickle as a moonbeam, coming and going like the waves of the sea. He skidded on the water, losing his balance long enough for Alnette to drive her polearm through his thigh.
