A year has passed since the fall of with The Collective and Asura. During that time, the keybladers and warriors that opted to stay helped to rebuild the remains of the star systems. Those that stayed reconstructed the world the city rested upon, as well as the previous World of the black Sun and every world in between, though some remained in ruins. With nowhere else to go, Senkei and Shukei stayed behind to help, along with Magnus who stayed out of a sense of commitment. During this time, Angeal and Senkei had there duel, fulfilling the prophecy on Angeal and Senkei’s lives, and causing unknown consequences to the universe at large, as the effects have yet to be seen. After the battle, Angeal disappeared, and Senkei resumed the reconstruction of the system with those that stayed behind and the other residents of the city. With no other place to call home, Senkei now lives in the City of Lost Light, as the residents themselves have expanded the City to encompass more cities in the area. The original City serves as a meeting ground, while the surrounding cities serve as residential areas and food centers, as well as medical sectors and such.

"What's the hold up?" Caesar called down to the ground from his tall perch. "Why the medical trucks late?" The boy, now a growing teen, glared down at the ground through vastly dilated eyes, blind to the physical world. Yet he could see, in vast shades and bright arrays of fantastic colors. He could see. Though young, Caesar was a major player in the worlds reconstruction, seeing as he knew the workings of trading better than most other residents. He was possibly the best and only choice for the job of overseeing the grand operation. Honestly, he hadn't been asked to take his position. The Governors kinda enforced it on him. It was a bad move on their parts considering the teen wasn't too keen on being their close subordinate. And he couldn't be.
"The trucks have been ambushed again. We dispatched some troops after it, but they aren't expected to arrive on target for another Five minutes. They were sent out twelve minutes ago," came a female's voice from the single white earring stud hanging from his left ear.
His hand reached for the bill of his white jacket and pulled the cap down over his face, appearing to try to mask his slowly simmering anger as he worked the calculations in his head. "That's the fifth convoy this week," he mumbled. His old accent had all but disappeared. It was simply a phase that he grudgingly grew out of. "Sector 4 needs those supplies and badly." He spat of the side of the sixty-five story building. "Them *****'s is gonna die this time."
"Governor Caesar?" came the female voice again.
"Call the troops back. I'll take care of this personally," Ceasar said, pulling the cap over his eyes. He turned his head towards his most trusted associate, and his most unstable acquaintance. "Yo, Arlen," He began, as he pulled out Wasted EX from his holster. "You up for some long needed clean up?"

"Scratch that." Would have come Senkei's voice from Caesar's ear piece. he had arrived on the scene in one of his runs. In his time there, he had been promoted to command position much like Caesar had been. "I got it taken care of." He finished. Had they been there they would have seen him carrying two of the trucks. As hard as it may have been to comprehend, Senkei had grown exponentially stronger over the reconstruction year. He was hardly giving the faintest sign of effort in lifting the two trucks over his head, one in each hand. The real trick was holding them so they didn't collapse under their own weight. "Y'know." He began as he continued his trek to the destination point. "On second thought, go right ahead and cover my back. I got the trucks, you just make sure I'm in the clear." He said. He had grown much better at sensing things over the year, and could tell he might be attacked again. If he was focused on medical supplies, he may not be able to fend off attackers as well, so back up wouldn't hurt. He put the trucks down, noticing that the others weren't following behind as commanded, the two he was carrying had sustained the most damage. He groaned and linked the chain in his keyblade around them all, hooking the blades together and pulling the convoy of trucks along by the chain, not the blades.
Shukei stood on a building far off from the action going on with the convoy Caeser and Senkei were heading. He was alone with his thoughts while he patrolled. He had hoped that with such a vast concentration of darkness in the area that he would have found him by now, but it wasn't the case. It was aggravating, yet he couldn't help sense a feeling of strange foreboding. One similar to the one that his presence usually gave off, or had given off in the past. He was near. Maybe not on that world particularly, but close. He sighed and sat at the edge of the building. Aside from that, things were quiet on his end, so he had no need to rush and be tensed up. Over the year, him now being fifteen, he had grown a bit, both stronger and in actual physical growth. He was a bit proud, though his mission wouldn't allow for him to be too proud. He considered himself weak for not being able to stop the tragedy in the first place, but he couldn't down himself on that now, he was busy. Sort of.

(Crap. Didn't read all that through. Edit time!) Anaryn and Arlen, both now fifteen, were behind Caesar. Both the twins had grown alot as well since the battle with Asura. Arlen was a little taller than his sister, and was not as lanky as he was when he first came to the City. Anaryn was not as tall as her brother, but she was looking more grown up as well. She was also as in control of her abilities as her brother, which was a good thing.
"What do you want us to do?" Arlen asked, his sword hanging casually from the side. Since he wasn't a Keyblader, he carried his sword, which had been in their family for many generations. His sister was behind him slightly, looking around. Whatever the heck happened, it'll need to be fixed pretty quick.
They had decided to stay because they had no idea how to get to their birth world, their home, and they thought of the City as their home. Even though Anaryn had her adopted parents in Twilight Town, she wanted to stay where she and her brother would not be separated again. And they would someday go home, but in the mean time, the City was their home.

Valen, now was sixteen he' grown a bit more mature, but not alot. He didn't want to go home because noone knew him all that much. Valen looked up into the sky with a cracker in his mouth. He tried to go sleep, but the noise from trucks and yelling kept him up.

Caesar smirked. "Back up Senkei. What else." The young teen walked to the opposite edge of the building, looking out at the road that Senkei would be taking and held his hands out casting a series of Stopga spells on the air, making it stable enough to run on. The path was marked by round platforms that resembled clocks. In fact, they were clocks, ticking, tocking analog clocks. He stepped out onto the first platform and took off in a full sprint, not using his time powers to speed up the process because he didn't want to just leave the two there. And if he remembered right, Anaryn didn't like heights much. So while he ran, he made the later platforms descend like a staircase. "Well meet up with you in two."

Senkei looked up and saw the stair case of clocks being produced by the form of Caesar, descending down to the road he was taking. He had grown out of his full on hatred of magic into a slight distaste. He still didn't like it, and would never himself use it, but he didn't hold it against those that did. He also didn't usually call for back up, but he was getting an unusual unsettling feeling, like a bad omen. He didn't like it, so back up was a good thing to have if he was too busy carrying trucks to dispatch whatever threat there was that he was feeling. He had pulled the trucks a decent distance on his own. It wasn't that hard, and he wasn't going at a slow pace either. He was actually going at a slightly faster pace than the caravan of trucks would normally. It was his lot in this operation. As a side job to being the muscle, he was also the muscle in picking up the slack should the trucks break down. He didn't mind, it was a good way to get exercise and to show off. It was a win win.

Anaryn smiled a little at the platforms that Caesar made for them and just jumped off the building, her brother following closely behind. Before they were even ten feet above the pavement, both slowed their fall with a little help from their powers, creating a kind of floating effect as they descended gracefully down.
"You don't have to use the platforms as much anymore, Caesar," she said cheerfully as she ran to Senkei's direction. "I've gotten used to heights to an extent now."
Arlen ran to catch up with his sister, looking up at Caesar's path above them. He and Caesar got along much better than their first meeting, and he considered the year older teen a friend. They had their disagreements, but he made sure to be far from his guns whenever that came about.
The twins were soon on the scene, settling on a large piece of rubble as they waited ahead of where Senkei would soon pass them. "Hey, Cap, what chore do we get?" Arlen asked as Senkei passed them, a grin on his face.

"Hey, don't give me that vibe," Caesar said, sensing Senkei's apparent dislike of him showing up the way he did. His tone was light. There weren't many reasons for the two not to like each other. Well, there was one, but both of them often just avoided the subject entirely. "I'm not all physically powerful like you. Your flesh wounds would be like by destroying shots for me," again, Caesar spoke as if he were just joking, and while he was trying to be funny, what he said was true. Honestly, Anaryn could probably take more direct shots to the face than he could. And that was a fact that had constantly upset him almost as much as the fact that he was still shorter than most everyone else, except the twins, who he was the same height as(or as tall as the shorter one).
Caesar stepped down from his platform and began walking besides Senkei, Wasted EX still firmly gripped in his right hand. "Assassin Nobodies. I can already see them," the boy stated, relaying the message to all. "There are five trailing the convoy. There are seven swimming the ground directly beneath me and Senkei, and their are like eleven by you two," the two he was referring to were the twins of course. "When we all converge, I'm sure they'll attack us all at once. Be ready. Watch out for their self destruct, oh, and since Nobodies don't really have emotions, try and make sure at least one stays alive so Sam can find out who they are working for and why they are stealing public equipment."
Ah yes, Sam. Caesar had given him a few interesting jobs. One of them being top interrogator. Five minutes with that mad man was enough to make most any person talk, even if they aren't the ones being interrogated. He had his ways, one even including a rubber chicken and tooth paste. Caesar would never forget that one.

One year. One year had passed since Tygris arrived on this planet. One year since his home was consumed by the darkness. One year since he joined this war. In that year he had made many friends and countless enemies. Anaryn, Arlen, Caesar, Senkei, and so many others that he held dear. During this time he had grown exponentially, both on and off of the battlefield. The carnage that surrounded him was a blessing in disguise that finally showed itself as the cities began to rise once more.
The days were long and the work was taxing, but the end results could not be argued with. Tygris, now nineteen years old, was a soldier and a damn good one at that. He lived on the field of battle, testing strategy and technique whenever he got the chance. The teen held no real rank in the city, but instead simply provided muscle during cleaning and clearing sessions. Whenever he wasn't hauling debris, a job that greatly increased his endurance, he assisted in patrols and occasionally performed with the strike-team troops.
On this particular day he was on patrol when he caught wind that another convoy had been ambushed. It wasn't exactly what he was supposed to be doing, but it was better than standing around in the city where no small enemy would even dare to attack. The situation being as it was the teen convinced himself that it would be best if he were to join in on the action as well.
His current attire was that of his original battle gear, though at this point he had clothing much better suited for fighting than that. With his speed he was able to start closing in on Anaryn and Arlen rather quickly. In the distance he saw two trucks in the air with Senkei beneath them. Beside Senkei walked Caesar. From the looks of things his day was about to get better in the blink of an eye.

Arlen narrowed his eyes, then nodded once, showing he understood. Anaryn tried her luck at sensing the presence of the Nobodies. They were weak in comparison to what they had felt before in the past year, like Nanashi and Asura, and were just minor nuisances. The fact that they didn't sense them was proof that Caesar's spirit sight thing was much better than their own senses, not that it bothered them. It was good enough to keep them out of trouble.
"Would you like my sister and I to guerilla attack the Nobodies near us since you mentioned them?" Arlen asked, his fingers tapping on the hilt of his sheathed sword. He was eager for a fight, and Assassin Nobodies fit the bill at the moment. He was bored and wanted action. It felt like ages since their fight with Asura, and that was a heck of one. "Better to take them out and even the odds ever so slightly." he added for good measure.

"They're Assassins," Caesar retorted, "Not heartless. They may not be anything like Asura, but they aren't stupid. They fight in organized packs. If we give off that we know were onto them, they'll just leave and we won't get what we want. In-" Caesar turned on his heels just as an Assassin appeared behind him, popping out of the ground, its arm held back to attack him. "Fool." With simple pull of the trigger, the Assasin's body began to fall backwards. Just as it did, Ceasar cast Stopga on it, grabbed it out of the air, and flung it into the air, where it exploded a safe distance away. Still, the force of the explosion could be felt from the ground. "Well, since they're attacking, I think you can let go of the trucks for now, Senkei. Ya know, have fun." He turned to look at the boy. "Yeah, that's an order."
At that, he upholstered Smite and shot another surfacing Assassin, causing it to go flying back before it exploded.

Arlen grinned as he turned into a tendril of shadow and spiraled at an Assassin, only too pleased to follow the order. "Oh, yeah! Now yer talkin'!" He struck the Nobody and sent it flying before it could explode.
Anaryn summoned her Keyblade and shot a small spurt of light at two Nobodies, sending them into each other and exploding one. She felt the impact of the explosion, since she was closer than she should have been, but had summoned her shield up half way to prevent more damage.

It looked like the party just started. Assassins were popping up everywhere and being destroyed just as quickly as they showed themselves. The purple and silver beings exploded once defeated, a parting gift no opponent really wanted and one that Tygris found quite obnoxious.
Two more erupted from the ground behind Anaryn, arms poised to strike her in the heart and core. When their shoulders surfaced Tygris brought his arms straight back, the gauntlets forming upon his hands and arms almost instantly. By the time their waists were exposed he had already swung his arms around from behind him and across his chest, chained hooks flying through the air in a wide arc. By the time the two Nobodies had fully surfaced they had curved blades cradling their necks. Before they could strike Tygris quickly rotated his arms toward inward, the motion following the length of the chain all the way down to the hooks which followed the same motion. A quick jerk backwards dug the point of the weapons into each Nobody and forcefully pulled them back toward beast of a teen. Each chain was quickly retracting into its respective housing while pulling the Nobodies closer and closer until they were in arm's reach.
Tygris quickly gripped each hook, pushed forward thus releasing the tips from the creatures, and rotated the blades back around their necks. With a single pull he removed their heads, the bodies starting to fall limp. With double backhand strikes he knocked the falling heads to his left and right, the bodies being pushed away with a quick strike from the blunt edge of the hooks. The parts went flying in two opposite directions leaving Tygris at a decently safe distance between four separate explosions.
Now that was how you made an entrance.

Senkei let the trucks down and jumped forward, turning in mid air as two assassin nobody's came from the ground behind him. As he turned, he dug his hands into the sides of the trucks, stopping himself from sliding back and threw himself forward the two. He kicked out and rammed his heels into each one's chest. He flipped off of them and turned toward them as he landed, summoning his keyblade mid turn. As he completed the turn he threw one blade at a time like torpedoes into the midsections of the Nobodys. He brought them back and dismissed them. They needed one alive, so he would need to make sure they didn't go over board, which meant not fighting so hard. He just stood there and guarded the supply trucks.
Shukei stayed sitting on the building, scanning the area. His face was intense, like he could tell there was something wrong, but couldn't find it, no matter how hard he tried. "Well, if it isn't the pest trying to hunt us down. You know we can't have you stopping us." Came a voice from behind Shukei. It was doubled over, an eerie blend of two male voices, both around his age, but one noticeably deeper and more menacing than the other. Shukei looked up in shock, then jumped up and turned violently to see a group of three people standing behind him. The one on the left was a woman with purple hair, yellowish orange eyes, and slightly tanned skin, wearing a straight jacket and black pants. The one on the right was a taller, muscular man wearing a heavy, sleeveless brown coat and a black muscle shirt with baggy black pants. His hair and eyes were brown. The one in the center, the leader, was the one that caught Shukei's attention the most. It was a boy, around his height, with pitch black skin, completely red eyes and a twisted smile and no nose to speak of. He didn't wear a shirt, just baggy black hakama and a thick black weight belt. Shukei glared fiercely at him. "Goukei!" He hissed venomously as he drew his keyblade.
Goukei smiled at him, showing his sharp, neat set of teeth, almost like a shark. "So, you haven't forgotten about us. We were just trying to get your attention before." He said with a menacing smirk. "Marlek, Tasha, let's get him out of our way. It really is his own fault, little kids should know better than to be out in the dangerous city all alone." He said wickedly as Tasha summoned her keyblade and Marlek summoned both of his. The two of them dashed forward, attacking the lone Shukei as Goukei stood with his arms crossed and watched.
