You know we have had The Bad Thread, since the beginning of the guild. So I have decided we need a Good thread.

The premise is the same as the bad thread. Post something good that is going on in your life. Talk about the good or just congratulate others. xp I do not really know what can be done other than that.

I will go first. According to the numbers taken at the beginning of my training. I have lost 8 lbs and 2 inches off of my waist 3nodding

Hey, +1 point for you.

For a few months early last year I was keeping a list of three good things that happened every day to try to cheer me up and not losing sight of the good stuff after my previous semester had been so wretched. I heard about this suggestion originally coming from some psychologist online some place as one thing to try to keep people happier and from only looking at the bad stuff and taking to good for granted. It was nice and I only stopped after it got to the point where it was a poor joke to try to make things sound good on a long stretch of days that were just incontestably awful. sweatdrop

Anyway, I've started playing Final Fantasy XIII with a friend of mine recently now that we finally finished Persona 4 (see the new item Rainy Day that just came out based on that game. wink They should have included a fog pose though, and maybe a Teddy stuffed animal like Nanako got or the Teddy bear suit razz ). The graphics are indeed VERY impressive and better yet, the game mechanics and plot line don't seem to have been thrown under the bus in order to focus on the art quality. Every line in this game is voiced too and fortunately the voicing is all well done. The one down side so far is I've found some times where I want to change the camera angle to be a bit counter intuitive for me in how it is done and we haven't had any alcohol around for the drinking game I've established based on one character (though I still don't like the taste of alcohol anyway and it probably would make me miss important plot elements if we did do it.)

Alas, I've been unable to play most of these games because I lack the proper systems. The only one I have is Chrystal Chronicles, which i found engaging and well put together for the first 20 hours or so. The plot, however, was repetitive from what I remember, and I quit part of the way through. I'm glad you enjoy this game, though.

As for something good that's happened recently, I've taken up biking again and gotten to the point where my butt has stopped hurting rolleyes . Coinciding with this, I am more focused and have felt calmer. (not that my emotions are usually unpredictable).

Yeah, I don't have the right game system either. crying But, that's why I play the game with my friend over at her house, because she does have the right stuff, in addition to the fact that we've enjoyed playing together. We went over and played some more last night, adding a new element to the never-yet-been-played drinking game. Said friend by the way has also recently started riding her bike around as she had never learned how to before. I didn't learn how to until I was 12 when my mom just decided one day no matter how much I hated it and didn't want to, she wasn't letting us go home until I could. >:[ I still don't like riding my bike and avoid it.

Also nice, yesterday we went over my friend's friend's house before playing the game and we got to play with some kittens they have. They were SO cute. crying Strangely, there were four kittens from two or three different male cats from the one litter of kittens. I didn't know before, but evidently a female cat can keep getting pregnant again once she's already pregnant. Imagine if that could happen to humans! gonk

Yeah, see that's what I wanted, having two different systems for two different houses. But then my mom decided to buy the same system my friend has for christmas... we haven't even opened it yet. neutral

I don't mind riding a bike so much, but at the moment can't avoid it, since it's how I get to the subway to get to my internship 3nodding

Yes, kittens are adorable, but the last time I played with them I found I couldn't stop just flexing and unflexing their claws, which must get awful boring for the animal. Alas, this was 4 years ago and I haven't seen a kitten since.

I agree that the idea is disturbing and, I'm glad humans usually cant have two litters at once.

I swear that's actually happened before. Humans getting pregnant by two fathers at the same time, I mean.

My good thing is that I have tomorrow off.

Good for you. mrgreen

Today sucked, the first two episodes I've been trying to catch of a show for months finally came on this morning, but then a combination of stupid and unlikely crap all came together to mean I could not get access to a functioning TV until shortly after they went off. D:< But, on the bright side, we had some nice brownies today.

I woke up to regret yesterday. I should have gotten another brownie that day rather than try to save some for later. When I woke up yesterday, my sister had taken the whole pan of them to share with her friends. No more brownies. crying

I did have sushi yesterday though. That was nice.

Aw, poor kittehs. ;w; And no, I didn't give her a thrashing since she did make the brownies in the first place.

I saw a movie today I've been meaning to watch for a while and tomorrow I should be getting the first DVD in the mail of the first season of a show I want to watch. That's my stuff on the bright side for the moment.
