Shino was born and raised in Haku's village, she was his sister, but when she became nine years old, her clan began to fear her powerful abilities to blow fire, most of her clan were uers of ice so they were afraid that she would eventually turn against them, however she was really loving of her clan. The thing is about Haku's clan was that they were feared for there ice abilitys and they were in the process of being killed off by other ninja, so Shino's clan tried to keep their techniques secret from other ninja to keep them from knowing that they used such powers. Shino was lonely, she barely survived the harsh cold of her region outside of her clan. One day Shino was out in the cold for too long and she collapsed, then a wandering swordsmen named Zen found her, he approached her with love in his eyes, she wasn't even concious when he found her, Zen became more and more uncaring as time passed, the love he shwoed her vanished completely. She was beaten by Link and Jatai Omikami, and she now feels no purpose in her exsistence, she regrets her failures and the only thing that keeps her fighting now is a dim spark of hope that lies in the face of her opportunity to survive. Shino feels mostly dead without knowing her purpose, she feels like she is exsisting for nothing as she continues to move through the wasteland of the world that she sees in front of her. As for Shino's ability to use Rasengan so gracefully, she was taught by Zen as a child, it is unknown how Zen learned it.
