Babylon sits in the center of Syria with good reason, as it serves as a great trading post. The city is vast and densely populated. It is surrounded by walls to keep thieves and rogues from entering and stealing away the prized possessions of the hounds trading booths. Surrounded by plentiful water sources, Babylon is very well irrigated. Perhaps its most prominent feature, aside from the many levels of buildings and tents, would be the tall palm trees that stem out over the top of the great wall. A good starting place for hounds of medium wealth, Babylon offers opportunities to sell and trade what is abundant for what is scarce. Some hounds base their entire livelihood out of Babylon's system, while others come into the mecca city in order to trade from other parts of Syria. Babylon is a bustling, clean, and friendly place to do business. It is much preferred over Zanzibar, with its sullen and scummy tents.
