It's that time of the year again in town of Winchester Creek. The summer is on it's way and although school isn't out yet it means one thing for the Seniors of Winchester High, the class trip. Unfortunately a lot of them didn't pay class dues and the trip won't be in such a good place as it has been in previous years. This year those going on the trip will be spending a week in the forest for a camping trip.

Rumurs have it that the forest is haunted though. There have been tales of teens dissappearing during the middle of the night. But there's no need to worry about something like that... right?

This Animal I Have Become

Nick drove his car into the parking lot and had almost made it to a spot when the car sputtered and puff of smoke came out the muffler. He banged his head against the steering wheel only to hear the horn go off for a second. He sighed and got out of his car. "God this thing sucks."

Jacy put her hands in her pockets and walked to the school, she always walked to school because she couldn't afford a car, nor could her parents, yet she knew tons of things about cars. Plus her house was never that far, a mile, give or take a few.

Seeing the smoke arise, she saw Nick get out, "Nice ride." She smirked. Today was the Senior Trip was it not? Joyus. She thought sarcastically.

"Yeah, maybe I'll have to bring by your place sometime." He chuckled and managed to push it the rest of the way to the spot. He popped open the trunk and grabbed a duffle bag and a bag with a tent. "So, you going on the trip?" He asked as he went over to the main entrance.

Jacy laughed. She showed her beat up bag, it had an array of buttons and pins, all of them bright compared to the barf-colored rucksack. "Yeah, My mom made me stuff everything in here." Jacy slung it back over her shoulder, "She said I could sleep in the trees. But strangely I have no problem with that." She smiled and began to walk to the school.

He laughed and sat down on the sidewalk once he got to the entrance. "You've always been a bit of a tomboy." He smirked. "Although if you do want a tent mine comes with a little side area."

Jacy leaned against a tree, "Always have, always will." She shook her head, "Nah I'm good, thanks." She said and looked up at the sky. "It's kind of hard to believe for our Senior Trip, we're stuck in the woods for a week." She chuckled a little, "A bit sad really."

"Yeah well that's what happens when half the class refuses to pay the dues over four years. I don't mind." He shrugged and pulled a gatorade out of his bag. "You know me, I like woods."

Jacy nodded, "Yeah. It's nice and all, but I've heard rumors...." She paused, kind of lost in her train of thought. She couldn't help but be worried, I mean, they all were convincing....Ah who's she kidding? Of course they're not real....Right?
