This was right after one of our most dedicated members became a crew member.
She was innocently trying to give some suggestions to improve the guild when the idiot captain decided the best reply would be-- Well, just take a look.

Crew Member Ways to clean up/organize the subforums: Change "Roleplays" to "Original Roleplays." It doesn't make sense to have a general "Roleplays" subforum then a specific "Fanfic Roleplays" subforum. They should both be obviously seperate RP subforums. Change name of "Event Subforum" to just "Events." The fact it's a subforum is pretty obvious. xD I don't get the point of having a "Story Reviews" subforum and a "Shorts" subforum. It's not obvious what each one is. At the surface, they look the same and redundant because most of the other subforums are all for short stories but just different GENRES of short stories. The organization doesn't make sense. Change "Shorts" to "Works In Progress" and "Story Reviews" to "Works In Progress Reviews." This way, in the "Works In Progress" subforum, the authors can post their stories without interruptions and people who want to review those stories can obviously see which subforum to go to to do so. Note in the Annoucements for both of those subforums that the subforums for specific genres are for FINISHED stories and therefore people can review the stories in same thread as the story and they can't review stories in those genres in the "Works In Progress Reviews" subforum. I've posted this suggestion multiple times: Change "Horror and Macabre" title to include Thriller. Change "Superheroes" to "Superheroes/Action" since Action is close to "Fights" and it's in the same vicinity as Superheroes.

Idiot Captain Let's start from the beginning, shall we?
o1. "Roleplays" isn't "Original Roleplays" because if they're not fanfiction roleplays, they're pretty much original. You're the one trying to avoid obvious-ness, right?
o2. Jaws controls the event subforum more than I do, so if she wants to change it, that's fine, but in my opinion, we should keep it "Event Subforum" so it stands out more against the other, longer, titles.
o3. a. How is "Story Reviews" not obvious as to it's meaning? It's a place for story. reviews. People don't like to have their stories interrupted while they're posting each section or chapter, so if people want to give a review before the story is finished, which is in most cases, they can post them there. b. The various subforums that are posted for different genres are just that: different genres, each with their own unique style. A short story is a type of genre. The other subforums are for full length stories. Unless stated by the writer, a story posted in ANY of the subforums is a 'work in progress'. Many people, including MYSELF (and Jaws too in places), have unfinished stories in the subforums pertaining to their genre, and it would silly to have people write in one subforum until a story is done then has us move it. It's easier for both writer and crew to have it in the place it belongs in the first place. Besides, once the story completed and moved, it would no longer be a 'work in progress', and so would have to be reviewed again in a standard story review subforum. Kind of like the one we already have.
o4. Again, this one Jaws watches over, but I would suggest not making the title longer and simply adding Thriller to the welcoming post inside Horror and Macabre.
o5. First of all, "Superheroes" will NEVER change because that's a subforum that I control and a genre I love with a passion. Second of all, "Fights" wasn't a story subforum, it was were people could fight with each other. Back then, there was absolutely no organization with the subforums because we were lucky to have any at all in the beginning. Therefore, stories were not nessecerily together in the list; neither were the random subforums. It was an idea of mine that didn't pan-out too well with the few members we had, so we took it out. And besides, "Action" is more of a sub-genre anyway. We wouldn't waste the gold on a sub-genre, especially when you can't get that gold back.
We've worked really hard on this guild, and a lot of things have changed since the beginning. Very few people that are still in the guild (and even fewer that are still active) saw what it was like before our major re-vamp, and the list on the pervious page of this thread should absolutely under no circumstances should be taken seriously anymore. I appreciate your ideas and opinions, but I do suggest that you get your facts straight before jumping to more conclusions. Besides, we're done with our reorganizations and renamings. Better luck next time.

Crew Member I'm sorry, I'll think twice before offering my opinions and suggestions next time. I didn't realize the guild was perfect as it is. It's also very difficult to get my facts straight when the first post of this thread hasn't been edited to state that all remodeling is completed and that no more suggestions are needed.

Idiot Captain It's not perfect, but it's close enough.
And we don't edit threads we no longer use in here. Besides, it should've been fairly obvious we were done when the fact that the title of the guild no longer says anything about re-vamping is brought up.
