You gotta hate how people turn to look at you when they see something in a movie that they think relates to any form of Pagan/Wicca. Well, I certainly got that when I watched a little bit of the movie 'Jennifer's Body' and my mom happened to be watching too. Seriously, just because someone mentions 'witch' in a movie, it doesn't mean the practice of Pagan and so-forth. And since people consider most of us as devil worshippers, it didn't quite help that, for the movie, these 'witches' in it was sacrificing a girl to a demon, believing it'll do good for them. (I never got to finish the movie, btw, due to me being a pansy, lol)
How fun, right? xD Made my mom feel justiable about her feelings toward my choice of practice. Oh well though, even if I presented to my mom all the truth about our practice, she'll ignore it all and believes entirely that I'm going to hell because I'm not Christian and don't agree with much of anything in their bible. Lol, no worries on my part, I'll remain respectful even if she won't.

Movies don't bother me. They're fiction. It's the non-fiction with misinformation that bothers me.
Well, actually, I tell a lie. When there's stuff in a movie and there's the implication that they made some effort to research stuff, and yet it's false, that does bother me. Not so much that I think people will think it's true, though. Mostly because they could have actually made an effort and didn't really.

This pickled vegetable...Movies with misinformation only bother me when idiots choose to use said movie as "research". This extends to TV shows and books as well. ... could kick your a** !!

To Root's response, that's exactly what I mean. Then it extends to people who would believe anything in movies and/or books. Not that it's a bad thing if they see unicorns in a movie and believe they're really somewhere in a forest like I do, but mostly to information that gets me a little annoyed. I might as well believe in movies that Christians are evil, as an example.
Nobody flame me ._.;

It's not so much the misinformation itself that gets me in fiction movies. It's only when they pass it of as research. Then I get ticked.
Sometimes my sister will watch charmed with me. I do enjoy the show, and think it's quite entertaining when I have nothing better to do. My sister knows I'm pagan, and it gets me every time when she asks with any of that is true, if I do stuff like them, ect. rolleyes

I'm fine if people believe there are unicorns out in a forest, but not so much if they then expect to not get impaled. Unless they're a virgin in which case they're probably fine.

Considering that it's fiction and there really is no real life basis on it. Not it doesn't bother me. People who claim to be witches because they saw Charmed, Witch Hunter Robin, The Craft, Practical Magic, Harry Potter, Hex, etc make me laugh. And laugh hard.
