Ok as a recap I have been living in my new home for two years now. Lots of space from neighbors and a very good amount of forestation. The home is old,, really old. Seriously it was church almost a century ago. But the fact is I left many things behind when I moved. Most notably was a smelter made from a gas grill frame. But it was in rough shape and I could not maintain it any longer. So I will be clearing a section of small grove near my home for a more suitable work station. The whole undertaking will be time consuming and harsh. When it stops raining, I will take pictures and see if I can add them here for visual aid.
The object I'm building is full forge. I can make one but I would like some help in the idea faze. The structure will eventually become enclosed but it must be built around the forge. Post any ideas or inquiries here when you think of them.

I'm not sure what precise sort of help you're looking for, but hey, I'm always willing to lend an idea. Do you know what sort of dimensions you have to work with/you're aiming for? Maybe when you post a picture or two of the said clearing area, I may be able to make a suggestion, though honestly, I'm not as familiar with forges as I could be.

20ft in diameter, dark soil, tree coverage going 17 to 22ft high. Tree line removed 5ft from the circle. Ground goes about 4'1/2ft to red brick soil.
I wanted to make a circular enclosure with smelter dead center.
The weather at home is hot and humid at the moment. Guess its a good thing In been in Japan for almost two days now.
