I'm Mahayana. But it's more of a Mahayana/Theravada blend.

Akanishi Makoto Which particular discipline do you follow? As I stated before I'm Pagan, bu I'm interested to know what's the difference between all of those disciplines?

I put my vote in saying I'm Judeo-Christian, since I was raised Roman Catholic. As of right now though, I'd put myself into the "undecided" category.

I tried to put an "other" category, but it just wouldn't allow it.

Mahayana (Zen specifically), with very Theravadan leanings. I think it comes from being married to a Theravadan, myself. biggrin

Woah, looks like my post and the person's after mine mutated into one post. Weird. Funny hiccup, though.

Byagga Mahayana (Zen specifically), with very Theravadan leanings. I think it comes from being married to a Theravadan, myself. biggrin That's why I put the Zen separate from Mahayana. There are enough Zen followers (is that even a correct term?) to make it its own category. ((Yeah, apparently I'm not used to this Moderator ability yet. I hit edit instead of quote.))

i wish there was an "other" or "none" option up there, since i don't prescribe hardcore to any discipline in particular.

I'm in the undecided section aswell, I can't seem to decide what sect I belong to, or in.

I'm Jodo Shinshu... and it's a very large and popular Japanese sect for those who have never heard of it (which I think will be a lot of you).

voriathel I'm Jodo Shinshu... and it's a very large and popular Japanese sect for those who have never heard of it (which I think will be a lot of you). Can't say that I have. Which means you should elaborate in the "what are the different sects" thread.
