As the cage door opened, Syous was thrown into the cage by one of the guards, crashing into the bars. Falling to the floor, he got up onto his hands and knees, coughing up a small amount of blood. The guards simply laughed as they locked the cage and walked off. Slowly inhaling and exhaling, he crawled over to the corner and slumped down, sighing sadly. "When is this all going to end..." He thought, lifting up his head as he stared out at a nearby window.

Lady Sofia walked into the nearly-warehouse. "Where are all the slaves? Hello? Is anyone there?" She called out as she looked around. Sofia passed by many cages, but saw no figure within. As she reached the final cage she noticed a timid male figure covered in bandages. "Hello?"

Syous heard a voice nearby and turned to see a woman standing before his cage. Noticing that he was the only slave here at the moment, he realised that she was talking to him. "He-...hello..." He said, looking back down at the ground.

For the first time in her life Lady Sofia couldn't think of a word to say. The poor soul was so very frightened, had he been abused before? She glanced at the price tag on his cage, and he was dirt cheap. The poor fellow. Sofia bit her lip before continuing. "Hello. My name if Lady Sofia Arrington of Inferno, but you may call me Lady Sofia." She extended her hand to the slave through the bars in his cage. He seemed friendly, at least, but a bit broken. She gave him a sad smile.

Syous flinched, initially thinking she was going to hit him. Opening his eye, he stared at the hand reaching through the bars for a moment. Hesitantly, he reached his hand forwards and carefully took hold of her hand. "M-my name...is...is Syous G-g-gestalt." He said quietly, unable to help but stutter out his reply. Trying to fight it, he looked back up at her, there was still some blood running down from his mouth, but he had been too preoccupied by the mistress that he didn't notice. "It's...n-nice to meet you...Lady Sofia..."

"What a sweet soul." The lady thought. "Syous," she began gently, not wanting to upset the poor angel. "Would you like to come home with me?"

Syous blinked for a moment. Whenever a master had bought him, they never asked if he wanted them to, they just payed and dragged him along. His lip quivered just a little, but he managed a small nod. "If...if that is what you wish...I'll try not to be a burden." He said, bowing his head, more thankfully than one of apology or sadness.

Lady Sofia took Syous by the hand and headed back to her mansion. She only stopped on her way out to pay the small amount that he was worth.

Syous involuntarily blushed when she took hold of his hand, an interaction he wasn't used to. or even remembered it ever happening to him before for that matter. There was something about this mistress, she was obviously much kinder than his last master, but he was still uncertain about her. Shaking off the thought, he simply followed quietly.

A male with snow white hair and deep blue eyes sat in a corner cell waiting for someone to take an interest in him. As he sat there he prayed for someone to come and free him soon
