Karoth is a city of strange machines, a mix of high and low tech... Though none of the citizens really seem to understand any of it.
Dust and scrap metal dot the landscape around the city, and clean water is a precious commodity.
Twenty miles south of the city is a dark palace, in it lives a man all the citizens of Karoth call the Source-rrrr.
In this story, your characters from ATGT are now in this city... Krivvek will not be joining you...
I shall be your eyes to the world...
And the going shall be slow because of this.
(I can't roleplay more than one character at once, so this works better for me lol )

I was told a million times of all the people in my way "whoah, Dorothy I do not think we are in Kansas anymore,"said Ash, not sure why or how he was standing ion front of some brass gates. he glanced to the south, noticing the large palace, noting it for its ostentatious architecture. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

Dust whips up and starts blurring your vision, a loud creaking is heard and the hissing of steam and banging of pistons is heard slightly afterwards.
The doors of the great city open wide.

A guard rushes out of the city.
He is clad in white armor, flowing tan robes underneath, and a tan wicker hat that extends out past his shoulders.
"Are you people nuts? a Kzaad is coming!"
The panicked look on his face is clearly shown.

Slackjawed he just stood there staring.

The guard led them into the gates and closed them shut as the dust began whipping about more violently outside, it was clear that a duststorm was coming.
Inside the gates there were people staring... All were clad in tans and browns, aside from a few exceptions wearing navy blue or red. The two new arrivals stuck out like a sore thumb, and not a person moved.
having entered through the west gates, to the west of you is a busy street... Or was busy until you showed up.
To the north is the guard's gate station... Guards are looking at you with expressions ranging from confusion to obvious distrust.
To the south there is an alley running along side the wall... Steam pours out the wall at varying intervals.
To the east, Well... You just came from there.

"Tch, Hell if I know," Hayley responded from behind them.
Her hair was cut short and colored black, her nose looked like it had been broken one too many times, and she was holding her left eye. But it was her.
"But I can tell you we're solidly out of MAGIC's calling range."
Never good at social grace, she had no idea what to say to them or how to act after 3 long years (and it's not like holing her arm up to her face like that was helping). "I'm... I'm glad you two made it." She avoided eye contact, feeling awkward and loathsome.
