I've wondered this, since some people I met believed animals don't have an afterlife (like heaven), and people like myself think they do.

Which even if this doesn't have much importance on the topic, I had a dream awhile back about a dog I owned since I was young that passed away nearly a year ago that I seen her once again and she didn't look ill like she did before she died. I remember telling her I missed her too and started crying.
Last night I had a dream that I saw her in my room laying towards my wall (even though she didn't seem sickly just like the past dream I mentioned above) and I remember after seeing her I said "I hope you're doing good in heaven". Which kinda makes me wonder if these dreams are really telling me something ever since my dog actually passed away.:/ I seen ghosts of her/felt & heard her presence to the point I was scared and basically asked for it to go away since I get scared at paranormal stuff like that. I never had that much experience with it either.

Since I'm asking people who do believe in afterlife as well as I do, do you Christians believe animals have an afterlife like humans do?

Yes, I do I have also had ghost encounters with my rabbit. This makes me believe that she has an afterlife.

It's possible, but the Biblical evidence is lacking. Either way, it doesn't effect our salvation, and shouldn't impact our relationship with the Father.

I've heard that animals don't have afterlives because they don't have souls or spirits like we do. But that's just me....

Ive heard so many times before in the Bible, "the heavens" meaning more than one. (dog heaven/cat heaven/rodent heaven ect.)
we are all gods creations, allthough animals dont know about god.
they are innocent like children, they all go to heaven.

Well, I also heard that animals won't go to heaven because they only function on instinct and not on soul like humans. However, God is the Creator of everything. In the psalms He says that every beast on the field, and birds in the air is HIS, so I'm sure that HE has a plan for animals when they pass on.

That is the great comfort, God cares about HIS creation.

ok... so, animals might not have afterlife but there is a special place for them?

I have to agree this one because Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to heaven... and most animals (or should I say all?) don't know about Christ... so, i guess a special place a valid... 3nodding

Yeah, I don't know about animals entering heaven per se, but I strongly believe that God will take care of HIS other creations. No matter, God is greater than any other (jamming to Chris Tomlin's song) ninja

I don't see God making something so awesome and just deleting it.
I like to believe God would not waste his wonderful work,
I think God has a special place for his lovely animals.
