I'm sorry I missed it! I've had band camp for two weeks... Today was the last day, thank fully. I'm starting to hate band.

Three words: new band director.

Actually, it's his second year...

Mattman Douchebag is still around, and he's PISSING ME OFF.

I'll just give you an example list of why I hate band, because it all ties into Asspenis sooner or later.

I hate my section and the fact that they suck and there's nothing I can do about it. It's lack of talent and motivation, but I can' tell them that because whenever I call them over after practice, they look at me like I'm the greatest thin gin the world. So I practically get down on my knees and beg them to practice just ten minutes every night, and they don't do it because, altho they know that I do, in fact, know what I'm doing, they don't think they need to take anything I say seriously.

I hate everyone telling me that I made the wrong decision by playing the bass clarinet. I'm first chair clarinet in our Wind Ensemble, but I love the bass. I have since middle school. It was my idea to march them, and I made my choice assuming the second chair would be marching soprano. ******** was the one that switched him to tuba; that's not my fault. And there is only so much I can do about how horrible teh rest of my section is.

I hate the stupid EWI solo that no one but Asswipe can comprehend, and the fact that the first time I had played it in front of anyone, I get yelled at because I'm "not counting right," and I don't know where to come into the music. Excuse me for conducting that part for the last two weeks because Asswipe wouldn't tell anyone what else I was supposed to do.

Then I had to play it at parent's night.

I hate how the entire band is pretty much pissed at Courtney and I because we had to spend the afternoons of the last week inside working on EWI solos because our excuse for a band director neglected to get wireless transmitters yet. Then if we did come out, our stupid drill write put us up in our tree for our ballad solo, and then forgot about us, so we have no dots. There is no middle ground. They're either mad because we're inside practicing, or mad because we're sitting around outside.

I hate how everyone has told me that it gets better as you get older, but so far far it hasn't. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

I hate that we're not Northern anymore. We're the ******** Cavaliers in purple. I don't know how we're supposed to remember who we are and where we come from when we're no longer expected to be Northern High School Marching Band, but instead some dumb DCI band, and that where we come from is changing so drastically.

I hate that doucher isn't in this for us. He doesn't care about helping us. He cares about 'saving' us and making himself look good.

That about sums it up.

It's too late in the season for me to quit. I wouldn't do that to my band.

Oh I do. So do a lot of people. So do most of the staff.

A few of us don't think he'll be around for long. We're not good enough.
