This is just one of the many ways the planning guild has decided to raise money this year. It looks a lot better in the forums, trust me.
I'm not that great at introductions but that is what I've come up with. If you feel it needs to be changed, please make suggestions.
For the "About the Ball" Post, I read something from the last ball that described what exactly the ball was and I thought I might quote that.
For the "About the Crew" Thread, I had three ideas. I might either put little desciptions of the host and room co-hosts there when decided (and myself because I made the thread), or descriptions of any of you that may happen to frequent the thread. Finally, the third idea, basically anyone who wants a description put in the thread. Just make a little description of yourself and post it here. A picture of some version of your avatar would be nice too.
I figured that this thread would also help educate people on the thread as well.
I also thought that once we've chosen a theme, I might base the thread off of that- but not so much as to give the entire thing away. Just a little taste.

Oh and I was going to make a mule that they can send donations to, so that I can keep track of it. Then, I will periodically send it to the Annual Ball Mule, taking a small percentage out for the thread itself (For contests and such).

It's look pretty good! I'd check things with Sabs first, or it might be best to wait until the new host is chosen and then check with them.

I think that's just lovely! The choice of banner is beautiful.
And the thought to include a list of donators is great too.
Are you going to link to the joint art shops?

Of course... in the affiliates spot, I will put all the Guild- run fundraising threads.
For other threads/ guilds that want to be affiliates, I was thinking of having a small fee. Maybe 100 gold or something.

 I made a make-shift banner. It sucks, but oh well. I finished it anyways, and if anything needs to be changed it's okay. I can edit it.

With the new tip feature (the one tat tips the creator of the thread) should we have the mule you were speaking of, or the Annual Ball mule, begin the thread?
It would be a way for every one who sees the thread to donate easily and instantaneously rather than participating in any of the listed activities. Plus it's an option for people who want to donate but don't have the funds, users who's income is maybe 25g-100g a day depending on their activity in the forums.

It would be run by the thread mule, not the main ball mule. I say we should keep that mule not as exposed as it would attract more hackers and some of the attempts to hack can trick even the most experienced member on gaia. So I suggest using the thread mule for the donations and f the annual ball account is found then that account can get direct donations as well.

That would have been a good idea, had it been available weeks ago. I had already started then - when it was first suggested. I worked hard at getting it the way it is now...
