Greetings to all! Welcome to the World War 2 Pacific RP! There is a myriad of characters that you can choose from! Enjoy and make them interesting. The only requirement is that you research your character. Mainly their unit and make sure that the unit you've chosen for them, was actually at the battle in question. For example you wouldn't want to put someone from the 1st Marine Division at the landing on Iwo Jima... because the 1st Marine Division WERE'NT THERE!

Engagements involved in: Please update this regularly! This will tell us who are the veterans of this war and who are the FNG's smile

Character’s Biography: (A Short description of your character’s background and how they got to where they are now.
Rules are pretty simple! No God-Moding, and please please PLEASE! do a little research! smile Other than that, have fun.

 Character name: Fredrick David Gaia Name: Generalarnold77 Character's Age: Just turned 18 Character Rank: PFC (at Pearl) CPL SGT Character’s Service Affiliation: USMC Character’s Unit: Marine Detatchment Aboard USS Oklahoma transferred to Dog Company, 1st Marines Weapons Carried: 1903 Springfield Character's MOS: 0311 Combat Infantry Engagements involved in: Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal Character’s personality: Young, and eager to please. David is a very motivated Marine with his act together. Character’s Biography: Born in Virgina, Fredrick David was lucky enough to grow up as the son of a doctor, but despite this, with the trouble of the depression, many of David's friends were forced to work, leaving him with his sole companion being his Shetland sheepdog. When his father had a heart attack and died in 1940 Fredrick enlisted in the Marines to produce a source of money for his mother and two sisters. Upon graduation from Boot Camp and ITR (Infantry Training) he was one of the few chosen for sea duty and placed on board the USS Oklahoma when she was put into Harbor at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. It was considered the paradise of duty stations, until one Sunday in December of 1941.   Ribbons:

 Francis MadisonName: Francis Madison Gaia Name: requiemsoprano Character’s Age: 23 Character Rank: Lieutenant Characters Service Affiliation: US Navy Characters Unit: Medical Detachment MOS: Nurse Weapons Carried: None Engagements Involved In: Pearl Harbour, Savo Island, Guadalcanal Characters Personality: Somewhat experienced with practice being a civilian nurse for several years, she is level headed, calm, and has a good work ethic showing care and skillful multitasking. Character’s Biography: Francis Madison joined the Navy after 2 years of civilian nurse work. She wanted to serve her country so she decided to join the military. Francis originally came from a farm family from Oklahoma. She was engaged to a wealthy business owner but when she discovered his unfaithfulness she decided to leave immediately and join the Navy. Francis is very strong and independent personality.  Ribbons:

Character's Biography: Oscar only made it to 8th Grade before dropping out of school to get a job durring the Depression. He joined the CCC as soon as it was created and worked on several ponds and other projects. Towards the end of the depression he joined the Army and was stationed at Pearl Harbor towards the end of his enlistment. He had Seven Days and a wake up left in the Army when the attack happened. His enlistment was extended to "Duration of Conflict."  Ribbons:

 Character name: Ian McNaulty (01MK83421J) Gaia Name: Anaithnid Miuil Character's Age: 16 Character Rank: PFC Character’s Service Affiliation: USMC Character’s Unit: 1st Marine Division stationed at base Weapons Carried: 1903 Springfield Engagements involved in: Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal Character’s personality: intelligent, smart mouth, sarcastic, resourceful/scrounger, easily angered and fiercely loyal to his family and friends Character’s Biography: Ian is the youngest child in a big Irish family from Chicago his father served in the first world war, and all his older brothers were already in the Marines. Ian joined the marines lying about his age to get into the marine corp. after he got into trouble with the mafia. Ian finds it hard to keep his thoughts to himself when he is ordered about by his superiors the only thing that keeps him quiet is the fear that his true age will be discovered. Ian had joined to see the world and have an adventure. His first posting was to Pearl Harbor, which to him was great except his oldest brother Shamus is stationed on the USS Arizona and he worries his brother may reveal his secret.  Ribbons:

Character's Personality: Brave, intelligent, resourceful, but a bit quick to jump to conclusions
Character's Biography: Captain Richards is a young, intellengent officer, who comes from a family of lawyers in New York City. He joined the Marine Corps in 1937, choosing to attend Virginia Military Institute. He origionally planned on taking a commission in the Army, but by his Jr Year, he'd decided on the Marines.
Upon Graduation he was stationed at Quanico, but after a year and a half of desk work, he requested to be transferred to a Fleet Marine Unit. He was transferred to Pearl Harbor in 1938, where he served on board the USS Arizona for two and a half years, before the Marine Corps transferred him to the 25th Marines on Wake Island.Ribbons (At time of Death) {Note: Silver Star given Posthumously}

Weapons Carried: Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), 1911 Colt .45 Pistol, 1903 Springfield by the end of the battle.
Engagements Involved in: Wake Island
Character's Personality: Loud, authoritative, carries a command presence, tends to get in trouble for speaking his mind, prone to drinking
Character's Biography: PltSGT Caimberg is one of the best Marines in the Regiment, unfortunately his short temper, his frankness, and his tendency to drink have gotten him in trouble more times than he'd like. When it comes to his job however, he's the best, which his how he picked up E-5 so quickly durring peace-time.
After high school, Caimberg joined the Corps and was shipped to China for a short tour before returning to Pearl Harbor, where he spent the majority of his enlistment. When his enlistment ran out he re-up'ed and was re-attatched to the 25th Marines on Wake Island. Ribbons (At time of Death)

 Character name: Johnathan Carolin Gaia Name: Darth_Malice66 Character's Age: 23 Character Rank: First Lieutenant Character’s Service Affiliation: United States Marines Character’s Unit: 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Regiment,D (Dog) Company Weapons Carried: Thompson Sub Machine Gun and model 1911 Colt .45 pistol Engagements involved in: Guadalcanal, Character’s personality: Carolin cares deeply about his men, and nothing is more important than they're well being and survival. He is a serious officer, but is not a medal chaser. Character’s Biography: Johnathan Carolin joined the Marine Corps at nineteen, and went through OCS. He was originally going to be a pilot, but due to a small eye problem he was denied flight school and chose the infantry instead. He excelled in TBS and was assigned as a platoon commander in Dog Company, 1st Marines. From there he showed such excellence in his duties he was chosen to be the executive officer of DogCompany, which is where he now serves.  Ribbons:
