okay so a lot of people have been asking a lot of other people about is it okay to commit suicide etc.
and I just really want to tell you all something. Suicide is not horrible, if you really are dying before G-d wants you to, then he could stop it. there have been failed attempts of suicide, and if G-d is so powerful the G-d can stop it. I have contemplated committing it myself from an extremely young age, maybe 6 or 7 because of my dad. (he committed suicide before I was born) so that word has been in my vocabulary even before i can remember and the idea has been spread through my head. if you read my journals from when I was little you would have been extremely disturbed. and I had to go to at least 10 different counselors. but thats not the point the point is accept suicide. if someone commits it. that is there choice and you can't tell someone their choice is the wrong one.
(just my super strong opinion) sorry i got so into it its a very touchy subject. XD i hope no one's mad at me

I know what you mean. I have bipolar disorder and most of the time I have horrible, horrible cases of bipolar depression. When I was little I tried everything from falling down the stairs to starving myself and sometimes for very stupid reason. I did that because of my disorder and it makes me contemplate suicide to this day. I really don't think it's bad thing because what if you have a disease that makes you live in terrible pain everysingle second of everysingle day? Wouldn't you take your own life if you were in that situation?

quit throwing little pity partys for yourself, suck it up.
there are millions of people in the world who go through HELL each day, and never even think of sueside.
we know its sad that your dad comitted sueside, but its time to move on and forget.

god made evryone special. you are his mster piece. don't murder his master piece. if you commit suicide it is murdering yourself. in the ten comandments it says thou shall not murder.

XD i hope no one's mad at me using your logic, that would be like saying "Since God did not stop the Holocaust from happening, it's okay that six million jews were tortured and put to death." Suicide is murder - murder of oneself, but still murder and it is wrong. we should not accept suicide as being okay way for someones life to end. I know you have to accept the fact that your Dad killed himself and you have to go on because there's nothing that you can do to change the past, but that is something that we all have to do when dealing with a death of a loved one. we have to accept it and go forward. I apologize if i have misunderstood you. It sounds like you're telling us that there's nothing wrong with suicide, when in fact, there is alot wrong with it.

Hmm.... this got me thinking, this is my View on SUICIDE:
I certainly disagree that suicide is NOT that horrible. My view on this is...
God has given you Life, why waste it just because you want to end your suffering? God gave us different measures of faith so that we can pass all through our tough times and worst times. Its not and EXCUSE that because you wanted to end the suffering already because of the fact that... the disease really hurt and you have to survive feeling that bad for like... everyday! In those times... that is the time you have to find refuge on Jesus Christ and God and cling on to his never fading promises, it is not the time to COMMIT SUICIDE! xd
Another one is,
Murder is a sin. As you can see, Abortion is considered a Murder case, so Don't be surprised if you find Suicide on the same topic. Killing is Murder, and Murder is a Sin. Now, Suicide is killing oneself, so it is definitely on the murder topic.

God is the one to Give us life... and he ALONE have the right to take it. We, as Christians (or jews...) should live the way Christ did. God asked us to try and live holy. But do suicide make us holy? No, it makes us look evil. God will also not be pleased if he found one of his creations attempting to kill itself! xd

PrayerWarrior64 Sorry, but I agree to disagree with you on this one, no offense. BTW, I have psychological "issues" and I'm not saying the thought hasn't crossed my mind but I feel I would be very selfish to hurt so many other people by one selfish act.

God believes in free will. That's why He allows His children to make their own decisions and mistakes. Why only see the power of God if he only intervenes? It's like saying God is powerful if he does this and that... We shouldn't limit Him to what he think he should be in our life. He is in control of everything and He has His reasons even if we don't even know of it.
And you know what suicide is like telling him that you don't trust Him enough with your life that is why you'd rather end it yourself...
I'm not mad okay? I don't think anyone here is mad. They just want to voice out to you that your opinion and thought could be adjusted to the lighter side, you know? Trust God with your life... focus on Him instead rather than looking at just the dark moments in your life... Brighten up! blaugh
