The Elric books are a collection of stories, many of them stand-alone, written by Michael Moorcock. They're very good, dark fantasy, and the main character bears some resemblance to Drizzt; questions the tenants of a sadistic culture, often depressed, outcast, awesome swordfighter. But I must warn anyone attempting to read them; the end novel Stormbringer is THE MOST depressing book I've ever read.

I thought this was going to be about the Full Metal Alchemist and the Elric brothers XD
oops.
depressing books usually arent my style. I like to be taken on a rollercoaster! haha.. i sound like my teacher
