 Cowboy Bebop (カウボーイビバップ, Kaubōi Bibappu?) is an award-winning 1998 Japanese anime series directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, written by Keiko Nobumoto, and produced by Sunrise. Its 26 episodes ("sessions") comprise a complete storyline: set in 2071, the series follows the misadventures and tragedies of a group of bounty hunters, or "cowboys", traveling on their spaceship, the Bebop.The series' art direction centers around American music and counterculture, especially the beat and jazz movements of the 1940s-60s and the early rock era of the 1950s-70s ~~Wikipedia

The series is awesome, I own it on dvd along with the movie on dvd. Now they want to make a live action movie with Keanu Reaves.

My friends are weird, they think he will be good at the part. I'm thinking no. If Clint Eastwood young, he'd make a great Spike in a live action movie.

I can agree with that, Spike is supposed to be brooding and full of emotion. Keanu Reeves is about as emotional as a tree stump. I wonder who they will get to play Faye and Ed. I love Ed she is my hero biggrin

no, I hate Ryan Reynlds he destroyed the role of Wade Wilson/Deadpool sad I have no idea who could play a good spike.

That is not Ryan's fault. It was Disney's fault, after Disney bought marvel, a lot of the movies others than Iron Man have been done poorly.

Just wait till they ruin other marvel movies. So Ryan is a good actor but works for a useless company.

I really do not want to think about them destroying anymore of the stories I happen to love. I love cowboy bebop, and Ed is my hero, If they make the live action who could pull of ED well? Have you read the manga or seen the anime or movies?

Anaithnid Miuil no, I hate Ryan Reynlds he destroyed the role of Wade Wilson/Deadpool sad I have no idea who could play a good spike. NO, X-men origens: wolverine destroyed deadpool. R.R. was a great wade, then the retarded JAPANESE artist who made the comic sewed his mouth shut. if he would have been able to talk, he would have made the BEST deadpool. He had the a*****e wit down to a tee. but again, if you slience the merc with a mouth, he ceases to be awsome, part of what makes deadpool great is the fact that he can contend with a lot of the mainstream marvel heros, due to the fact that they get annoyed by his mouth, get mad, then ******** up. R.R. is a very good actor, better than mr. tree stump.

I believe it is impossible to make a comic book or manga in to a live action and have it be good. Anyway what do you think of the fact that the waste of life Reeves is playing Spike. When I heard that I think I died a little inside
