Batgirl surveyed the streets of Gotham from the bank's clock tower. She chose this place because she liked how the illuminated clock face backlit her, making her shadowy silhouette appear more imposing. it made her feel more like a bit of the oh so exclusive club she was in-the one where they pranced around taking down crime in tights and capes.

In an opposite storyline, Batman stood on top of a building, surrounded by tools to help him locate any sign of trouble around in Gotham. He took his thermal binoculars and looked around the streets of Gotham, as he slowly moves his sights slowly. Other than that, he knew there will be no crimes at all. But occasionally, night, is Batman's night.

Batgirl intended to find some form of entertainment, but tonight was unusually slow. She supposed this should be a good thing, but it could also mean there was plotting going on in Gotham's underground.

When he continued searching, he saw a figure somewhere on Gotham's clock tower. He analyzed it thoroughly and realized it was Batgirl. Batman pressed a button to communicate to Batgirl, "Batgirl, can you hear me?" He questioned testing if his voice was adjusted.

"Indeed...what's up, d**k? Oh and uh...voice should be a bit more gravelly," Steph noted cautiously. "Where are y...oh there you are." She swiveled her head to see him a few buildings away.

"Got anything in your end?" He asked turning his binoculars away from her and continued his search for crime.

"No...something's up. it's never this quiet. Silence is the sound of someone plotting, Batman."

"I agree." He pressed a button manually allowing him to communicate to Batigirl with a touch. "The mob has been too quiet ever since I got the mantle."

"Exactly..." He said putting his gear back in his belt. Once he finished he jumped off the building and soared down by the tall skyscrapers with his glider wings wide open. Batman landed on top a small little store which had a low case of money, he heard voices downstairs as people talk to the cashier for discounts and payment. He took his grappling hook out and aimed it at a building and got pulled from his tool. He climbed over the building when he reached the edge of it.

"Why? You action hungry?" He said, failing on his grammar, he lost track of so many things in his mind he could hardly keep track. Batman ran across building to building. He had to use his cape a few times, just for his safety. While he ran he continued talking, "The last sighting of him was a couple weeks before. I'm pretty sure I could track him, thanks to Bru--."He paused talking, hardly even daring to say his name. He sighed in his mic.

Crane smiled to himself, his coat wrapped tightly around his form as he exited the book store. He had just been, well, "released" from Arkham recently, after all, and he had quite a bit of reading to catch up on. So, he had ventured out to the local bookstore to pick up some of the latest books, unaware of the heroes above him. He turned back to peak inside. "Ragady, are you coming?" he asked, waiting for his assistant to exit the building as well. Of course it would seem like an innocent enough outing, but in actuality, these books were simply for inspiration, as well as being a good read. An enjoyment as well as a resource. He had even allowed Ragady to pick some books out, and was looking forward to a nice quiet evening of reading.

Ragady actually gave a smile, collecting the three Stephen King books he had gotten for her and following him out the door. She was not really used to receiving gifts of any kind, it left her with a nice feeling as they exited. Of course, the shop keeper had almost scolded her for not wearing any shoes, but when they saw the Scarecrow there as well they quickly held their tongue and even allowed them to take the books for free. Smart human, it meant she didn't have to tie the human up and take it back with them. After all, Master Scarecrow could always use some more test subjects. "Danke shon, again. I haven't been able to do much reading, I'm rather looking forward to it." she admitted with an actual smile. But then she remembered where she was and glanced around, putting the books away in the bag and going on her guard again, returning to being silent, her face once more cold and devoid of emotions for anyone they might run into.

Tally Man was walking down the streets twirling his gun. He had nothing to do, and wanted to find some action. But mostly he wanted to get away from the creeper. He was passing a bookstore when he saw the Scarecrow. "Hey bud, need any help. Cause you should know someone should be around any minute. Someone with debts." He laughed when he mentioned the word debts.
