Any opinions and thoughts on Azula? Post Here! O:
Azula, I know shes was crazy and all, but I blamed it on her father. She turned into a maniac just like him. I don't know if you guys ever knew, but when her mother Ursa left, it hit her twice as hard than Zuko. I felt pretty bad for her at the end when she went crazy like that.

Azula is my favorite character out of them all, yes my fellow fan girls, even Zuko and Sokka. I think Azula was confused just as Zuko was, and if Ursa had taken her under her wing a bit more maybe she would have been a nicer person... still crazy... but a bit nicer.

Azula was crazy when she was a kid. And her mom didn't leave, Ozai banished her. Azula didn't care at all, until the end when she went crazy. SHE ANNOYS ME! And I hate her voice.

She never had sanity in the first place. As like a 7 year old, she fed TurtleDucks by throwing huge chunks of bread at the baby ones. Does that sound sane to you?

Aa, whatever. she annoys me. She uses ppl and is a jerk, just like Aizen, Pain, and Orochimaru.

Poor girl. I agree with others when they say it isn't funny when she goes crazy with breaking the mirror. She has some kind of illness/disorder... : ( She's a pain, but she's a victim too.... She was practically raised by her father, which doesn't help a bit.
My jaw dropped when she was singing "Daddy's gonna kill you, Daddy's gonna kill you...." ...I mean really, who does that to their brother?! : (

Obviously, yes, her father was to blame, and nobody sought to reach out to her and tell her she's being a little s**t when she was a child. She was able to get away with all the things she pulled as a kid and that encouraged that kind of behavior. Her father bloated her ego early-on with the prodigy stuff and her mother stayed quiet and ignored it, continuing to properly parent Zuko because it was easier than dealing with her merciless daughter and obviously, with a husband like hers, she couldn't have done anything anyway as Ozai favored her, and if Ursa had ever tried to punish Azula, she'd be punished herself.
The nervous breakdown at the end was inevitable and I was just surprised it didn't come sooner.
Regardless, her character bugged me. Every time she showed up on screen, it was always during some crucial moment in a plan or scheme, and she'd be there to ruin it. the moment I saw her I always struggled to fight the urge to shout "DAMMIT THIS b***h AGAIN? REALLY?"
And, I don't recall Sokka crying even when Yue died -- but AZULA managed to reduce him to tears with her Suki talk. Hell no. Hellllllllllll no.

She was always a daddies girl and she was just as screwed up when her mother was around and when she left. If anything Zoku should have gone crazy because when the mom left no one could protect him from his already crazy sister if anything she is just cocky because she is a prodigy.

She is crazy but if she can be of any help to Prince Zuko in finding his mother then she isn't that bad and if this is just a trick then I can't defend her.

I have to say the ending to the movie on Azula's part was awesome. It truly showed how much her desire to be accepted was there and the only acceptance she ever really known was through her father drove her to that state of mind. Then suddenly those around her were abandoning her and the world that once made sense, now was chaotic with everyone gone; her friends, her father, and even Zucko. It made this a reality check that she was misubderstood and all villians or bullies can be. I always wondered what happened to her what she would become. I wish the story could continue a little so you knew how everything turned out after the fact.
