I've noticed that even if people don't like the actual show Invader Zim, they still love GIR. My youngest sister actually commented on an online journal post of mine once with "Invader Zim is rubbish! GIR rules!", and my other sister, who also can't stand the show, was sitting in the living room when the Future Dib episode was on, and as soon as GIR delivered his "Aww, your little robot boy got broken!" line (something along those lines, I can't remember exactly what he said confused ), she actually did a proper fangirl squeal (I've never once heard her do that before) and started going on about how much GIR rules! razz Has anyone else had IZ haters go mad over GIR?

All the time my friend. All the time. Gir seems to have his own little fan base that includes people who hate the show. Those people drive me crazy... and I hate them! There is a term for people like that. and it's Girtarded.

Yes, I've noticed that... Whenever anyone goes crazy over GIR, I always roll my eyes. I love GIR too, but not to the extent that I forget about the other characters and the show itself!!

YES! When the show was still on t.v. I was in the 5th grade and I LOVED it so much. I asked my friend if she did, and she made a face and said she hated it. Now a few years later she can't get enough of gir, and I highly doubt she's seen one full episode of the show... neutral

None of the people at my school watch it anymore. crying I'm the only one that has digital cable (Comcast) So I can watch it two times a day. But they don't have very many episodes. But the people that used to watch it like all the characters.

well ive noticed that a TON of people just LOVE GIR...i think he;s like the most popular character from IZ i believe.. i dont know that as a fact..but it sure does seem like it

At least now one of my sisters has changed slightly. (only very slightly though!) She's now turned into a Gaz fangirl ("Wow, she's so pretty!" "Heheh, go little goth girl!" etc.), so at least now I have an IZ hater around that likes 2 characters instead of one! razz
