"They've made their move." Said a man in an old cloak. A three pronged spear was gripped tightly in his hands. Strange Rune letters were written along the spear.
"Then we must counter." Another man, as he stood up from sitting on an old crate. "We can't let them stomp all over us. Not after we've come this far."
"Our army has been prepared and is ready to battle." Said the man in the cloak.
"Excellent, Benkei." Said the man. "Please tell Eshun to come see me."
"Alright." Benkei walked out from the room and several minutes later, Eshun walked through the door.
"You will be joining in this battle." Said the man.
"What?!" Eshun's eyes were wide with surprise. "I must stay and tend to the injured-"
"Your abilities will be needed on the frontlines." Interupted the man, his tone serious.
"...Fine..." She walked from the room, stomping her feet.
I know you hate the sight of war and battle, but we will need you. Please forgive me for what you will see on the battlefield. The man walked towards the door, then made a turn. He walked through a small opening in the wall.
"You intend to join in this battle aswell?" Asked an old man, wiping the stains of blood from a shield.
"Yes, we must end this bloodsheld once and for all." Said the man.
"Then you'll be bringing 'that' sword?" Asked the old man, who stopped cleaning his shield.
"Yes, I need a sword that won't break. One that will endure and fight by my side till I die." Answered the man.
"You sound as if you plan to die in this battle. Banzo, do not be hasty. Our country is small, so now is the time when it needs a leader."
"I know, but if we lose this war...There will be no country to lead. If we lose this war now, our cause will be gone." Answered Banzo, as he reached for a box. He gripped the lock tightly and it turned to dust.
"Such power." Said the old man, as he watched the dust of the steel lock fall to the ground. "Such a shame, for it to be used to destroy, and not build."
Banzo didn't reply. He opened the large box, a long double edged sword rested on a cushion. Banzo slowly reached towards the hilt of the blade. He picked it up and stared at it. A shine was being let off by the blade. "I will bring our country to justice." Said Banzo, softly.
"I hope so. For it to die, all those lives would lost in vain." Said the old man, as he began to wipe his shield again. "Perhaps I will come and help out."
Banzo nodded. He gripped the blade tightly, blood dripped from his hand. "You will stay here. I expect you to lead the survivors if I don't return."
"An old man like me? Such a thing should be left to your generation, should it not?"
Banzo shook his head. "I don't see anyone fit to lead in my generation. They are too cocky."
"I see...Then I will honor that wish of yours. Though I hope you return alive."
"Then good bye, Joshu." Said Banzo, as he left the room. Beside the door was his army. Banzo wore steel shoulder pads. A long cape hung over his back. The sword with no sheath was still tightly gripped in his bleeding hand. "I must bring down the Kingdom."
"Are you sure you should send Gisho out there?" Asked a servent.
A man sitting upon a throne chuckled. "Her abilities are best suited for this. Besides, her love for war makes her the best choice."
"But you've only sent one third of the army to back her up!"
"She can easily wipe an army out on her own. The army is there incase she fails." The man on the throne grinned as he watched the army depart in the distance through a large gilded window. "Those rebels, they believe they can creature a country from only a few hundred people?" The man laughed to himself. "How pitiful. They truly believe they can stand up to us...My kingdom which has reigned over this world for years."
The army marched under a large flag of war. Drops of blood corned the tattered flag. "We are finally attacking those damn traitors?! Finally!" Shouted a man with a large grin plastered on his face.
"Shut up, Shoun." Snapped another man. "You talk way too much."
"What was that, Sengai?!" Barked Shoun.
"That's enough you two. Save the anger and hatred for the war." A woman lead the army. A large warhammer rested on her shoulders. "I want none to be spared. Not even the children."
"That's quite heartless of you, Gisho." Said Sengai.
"War is meant to kill. One point is there if one side has survivers?"
"I don't get her logic at all." Said Shoun to Sengai.
"Shoun, you must realize something about this world." Said Sengai. "There are people in this world that kill because they want to. They kill because it brings them pleasure."
Shoun was silent. He clenched his fist in anger. "Gisho, I will not allow you to kill the unarmed in that country."
Gisho stopped and turned around. She looked him in the eyes. "Will you stand against us?"
Shoun was struck with fear. Gisho's cold gaze made him shiver. His shaking hand now rested on the hilt of his sheath blade by his waist.
"No answer? Then I assume you will continue to follow orders." Gisho turned back around and began to resume leading the army.
"What the hell were you thinking?" Asked Sengai. "You should never attempt to stand up to a superier."
"But we kill for justice! Isn't that what the King told us?! What our kingdom was formed to protect!"
"The children will grow up with hatred, and may pose a threat to our justice later on. You must think of the future as well." Said Sengai.
Shoun looked down as he walked. He began to think. A plan was forming in his head.
So that's the kingdom's army?" Asked Eshun.
"Yes." Answered Benkei.
"Our army isn't even half the size of that!" Shouted Eshun. "We will all die in vain!"
"No, we will win this war." Said Benkei with confidence.
"Why? How?!"
"We have something they don't." Benkei paused to watched the enemy army slowly get closer and closer to them. "We have justice."
"I want all long range users to began to surround our fortress!" Shouted a man dropping down in the middle of Benkei and Eshun.
Archers and wizards began to run from into place.
"Only Banzo can give orders."
"Banzo isn't here right now, is he?"
"Tenno...Will you be fighting too?" Asked Eshun.
"Of course! I'll be the hero of this war!" Shouted Tenno with a grin.
"This war isn't a game!" Shouted Benkei. Tenno and Eshun were silent. "This is life and death. This is to defend the weak. This is to defend those who died in the name of justice! I will not allow anyone to speak of this war lightly. Many gave their lives to form this country...Such talk if being the 'hero' in pathetic!"
"Your way too serious about this, Benkei." Said Tenno. "You make it sound as though it's our last stand or something. We will all survive and live to tell about it." Said Tenno with a grin.
Benkei clenched his spear as he walked down several stairs. He walked infront of the large army ready to defend the country with their lives.
"This may just be our last stand."

"So that's them?" Asked Shoun, as they approached the fortress.
"Yes." Answered Sengai.
"The army is so small. Only a hundred people or so-"
"Don't underestimate them." Said Gisho, her tone serious.
Banzo walked into a small dark room. A small pond was in the middle of the room. He walked on the water, and sat down on the pond. He began to meditate. The walls cracked as he focused his power.
"They are within range!" Shouted Tenno. "Long ranged fighters, attack!"
Arrows and elements rained down on the enemy army. The warriors scrambled at the sight of the attack. Gisho swung her hammer in a ball of fire that was about to hit her. It dispersed at impact. The army ran in at the fortress. The army from the fortress roared their battle cry and charged in. Gisho and Benkei clashed at the frontlines. He pushed himself off the ground using his spear and kicked down at Gisho. Gisho evaded and swung her hammer into his spear. It shook but did not break. Benkei landed and began to rapidly stab his spear at Gisho. Tenno joined in but was blocked by Sengai. They two battled using swords. Eshun walked through the chaos of the fighting with a wall of elements defending her. Any enemy nearby was shot down by lightning and burned to a crip with fire. Shoun charged in at her. She fired elements at him, but he ducked and evaded each. He slashed at her barrier, he couldn't break it. He began to slash at the barrier with all his power. A crack suddenly appear in it. Shoun grinned and continued to attack. She then pushed her palm forward, a wave of energy sent him flying above the army. He landed and defended against several knights. Tenno was pushed back by Sengai and the other knights. A crack of Eshun's elemental shield grew bigger and bigger. Sengai grinned at the oppertunity. He ran past Tenno and slashed the barrier. It suddenly broke and shattered. Sengai grinned, it was his chance to take out a powerful mage. He lefted his blade and swung in down. Blood spilled on the ground. Eshun looked up to see the warrior headless, as he fell to ground. Banzo stood behind the body.
"What took you so long!" Shouted Eshun.
"Huh?! I just saved your life!"
"I wouldn't have needed to be saved if you didn't make me enter this war."
Banzo lowered his head. "Yes...But you know we need you out here. Please work with us a little longer, then you may return to your room."
"Fine." Muttered Eshun, as a new barrier surrounded her.
"So that's Gisho?" Asked Banzo.
"Yes, the famous hammer warrior from the Kingdom."
"Can't believe Benkei is doing so well against her."
"Aren't you going to help?" Asked Eshun.
"Nah." Answered Banzo, his tone was now serious. He held his shining sword at his side. "I must work to defeat this army." He gripped his sword tightly, and ran into the chaos. He slashed down any enemy troop in his way. Shoun managed to push his way back to where he last was. He was stunned at the sight of Sengai's headless body. Sengai's head being kicked among the chaos. Shoun watched this with anger. He angrily gripped his sword. Rage flew through him, he ran into a group of enemy soldiers and began to go on a rampage. Gisho and Benkei were almost even, Benkei continued to attack with quick techniques and combinations. Gisho held her ground and blocked each attack with a powerful swing of her hammer. The Kingdom's army was now half the size then it was before. Banzo grinned, he began to think they may win.

Gisho and Benkei exchanged powerful blows. Warriors were being fended off by Tenno too. Eshun began to swirl her hands in the air, and chanting strange words. Elements began to form at her fingertips and slowly combined together while swirling. A mini elemental tornado was forming. Shoun continued to slash down soldiers. He angrily charged into the fortress. Wizards casted spells and archers's arrows flew, but Shoun's rage allowed him to endure it all. He slashed everyone in is way. He then suddenly came across a child. The child looked to be about seven and was shouted for her parents. Shoun stopped and stared. He remembered the words of Gisho and Sengai. He remembered his own justice. His sword trembled in his hands, as he slowly raise his blade above his head. The child was frozen by fear, as she watched the bloody sword rise higher and higher. A fearsome killing intent left her shivering. Shouns gaze was cold, the rage has conquered his justice. He swung his sword down, only to have it stopped. He looked to the side to see a woman holding a metal pole. The child ran from the two and hid in another room. Shoun watched as the woman shouted something and pushed him back. Shoun tumbled back, he barely evaded the incoming strike from her. The woman swung the pole so fast it was barely visible. Shoun desperately blocked and backed up. An arrow then plunged into his back. He dropped to his knees. He could feel the arrow still driving it's into his back. Magic fueled it, so it wouldn't stop. Shoun ripped the arrow from his back. The arrow head was red from his blood. He tossed it to the side, the woman stood above him. She gazed at him, her pole at her side. Shoun quickly jumped to his feet and ran. The woman could see the bloody trail he left. She ignored it. Banzo easily evaded each swing, and slashed it sword down on ever enemy. The sword grew brighter and brighter with every drop of blood that stained it. A warrior slashed his sword at Banzo, and Banzo easily sliced through the blade and the warrior. Banzo turned his head to see how Benkei was doing. His spear was covered in dents and cracks, but Benkei continued to fight. Gisho's attack speed seemed to increase with every swing. She swung the hammer at Benkei, and he blocked it with his spear. The spear suddenly snapped in half, and the hammer smashed into his chest. He flew back a few feet. He tried to stand, but every movement caused him to cough up more blood. He barked curses at his own weakness as Gisho closed in. Tenno ran at her, she blocked his blade with her hand. She wore metal gauntlets that seemed to never break. She gripped the edge of the blade and tossed it with the owner to the side. As Tenno flew back, he tossed his sword over to Benkei. Benkei held it tightly in his hand. His body hurt with every breathe. Everything seemed to slow down to him. He watched his own comrades being slaughter as they killed their enemy. Gisho walked towards him, her hammer rested on her shoulder. Every step closer she got, the harder it seemed for Benkei to breathe. He turned his head to see Banzo, who was charging at Gisho. He knew Banzo wasn't going to make it. Benkei closed his eyes and opened them with new determination.I'm on of the Elite. I was chosen as an Elite at the age of ten! I was the youngest to join, I have the skill, I have the talent. Benkei stabbed his sword into the ground, and he pushed himself up.I will not die. I will not die. "I will not die!" Shouted Benkei, as he stood on his feet. His shoulders were high, he pulled the blade from the ground. Gisho's face didn't change. She walked towards him with the same cold eyes as before. He pointed the sword at her and began to shout. "I am the Elite! I will not die! I fight for justice! I will not die!" He then began to charge at Gisho, she rose her hammer into the air. "I am the prodigy!!!" She swung her hammer down, he stabbed his sword upwards, stabbing through and breaking the hammer. "I will not die!" He saw the surprised look on Gisho's face as he swung his sword down. Slicing off her arm, she angrily jumped back. With her remaining arm, she picked up a sword left by a dead soldier. She stared at Benkei with new eyes.
Gisho ran at him. "I will not die here! I will not die till every single last one of you filthy traitors are killed and brought to justice!" She pointed her sword forward as she ran.
"This is justice!" Shouted Benkei, as she slashed through her blade and lunged his sword into her heart. She coughed up blood, as she fell to her knees, then collapsed. Benkei left the sword in her chest, as he began to limp back to the fortress. Tenno ran to him with a new sword. He realized how serious the injuries were. He blocked off the rest of the soldiers from getting to Benkei as Benkei escaped to be healed. Eshun spotted him and ran to help. She stilled swirled her hands, above her was a huge tornado of elements. Warriors backed away from her as she ran. She got next to Benkei, then rose her hands. She tossed the tornado over the army and it landed on the enemy's troops. They screamed and shouted as they were disinigrated by the elements. Eshun pointed her palms at Benkei, who was barely able to stand. A green light shined from her hands and the injured Benkei began to look better. He stopped coughing up blood, and the wounds disappeared. He nodded to her in thanks and walked back to the fortress. Magic can only heal the serious wounds. He needed rest the recover all the way. He walked in and medics took him away.
The enemy army began to retreat once they realized Gisho was killed. They lost all confidence and tried to escape. The others didn't chase after them, they hollered and shouted for victory. They laughed and roared with confidence. Banzo smiled as he watched the enemies flee. He looked into the sky, the sun was setting now. He turned to his cheerful army. "Many have lost their lives in this battle, but it was not in vain! We have conquered them! We have victorious!!!" Everyone shouted and rejoiced. "We are a new nation now! We will go by a new name! We will be known as Senshi! We are the Elite! We have reigned supreme over the Kingdom! We have done it!" The soldiers cheered. "I want the dead burned and they're ashes saved. We will honor those who died tonight! For tonight is the night when they can finally sleep in peace!" The soldiers cheered and began to work.
"Gisho was killed, My Lord."
"Yes, I've sensed it. What a pity, oh well." The King sat upon his throne with a smile on his face.
"Shall we send the rest of our army? We merely sent 1/3 of our army."
"Let then rejoice in it for now." Said the King, he drank from a cup near him. "Tomorrow, I will send someone to them."
"To do what?"
"Merely warm them, that we will kill them all."

The Senshi feasted that night. They toasted to the beginning of their new country. Outside the fortress, a woman in a cloak sat under a tree. She wore the emblem of the Kingdom.
"No!" Shouted Benkei, waking up from a nightmare. "That same damn dream..." Said Benkei silently to himself. "That dream...It's why I want to become stronger..."
The sun began to rise, and Banzo walked around the fortress walls. He yawned, a sword was at his side. "Hmm? Hey there, did you sleep out here?" Shouted Banzo to the cloaked woman.
She turned to him and stood up. "That is of no concern. I come bearing a messege from His Majesty."
"Ah. A treaty perhaps?" Asked Banzo with a grin. He was proud of yesterday's outcome.
"I will recite what he told me. 'You have down well to take down Gisho and the rest. As a reward..." She paused. "Your death will be quick and painless."
Banzo's eyes widened, as the woman jumped back and a large glowing hole opened infront of him. "What?!" Claws emerged from the portal, and soon a head. "A dragon?!" He drew his sword and ran past the portal at the woman. She dodged every attack, the summon was now complete. The dragon was almost as big as the fortress, and it's roar shook the walls. Banzo jumped at the dragon and slashed at it. It blocked and pushed Banzo back. Fire erupted from it's mouth, Banzo quickly rolled out of the wall. He ran towards it and lunged forward. The dragon was damaged by the attack. It swung it's huge claws at him. He blocked with his sword. He was being pushed back by the power of the dragon. He jumped to the side and let the claws crash into the ground. He looked at his cracked sword, he stabbed it into the ground. "Looks like I've got no choice..." The sky began to glow, a beam suddenly fired down near him. "What?"
A man in a hooded cloak fell from the sky and landed infront of him. "Always quick to rush into things. You know that ability is dangerous."
"How did you...Wait, that voice....Nagi?!"
A man turned around and grinned. "Looks like you remember, Banzo. Let me take care of this thing. It's skin is too strong for your sword. Only magic will kill it."
"Fine, but don't destroy everything nearby....again."
"Me? Destroy everything?" Nagi laughed, his eyes showed confidence. "Haven't you wondered what I was doing these past few years? My control over my magic is second to none!" A staff flew into his hand. "Just sit back and watch the show." The dragon roared as it lunged it's claws at Nagi. A wall of earth blocked the attack. Nagi grinned, he then lifted the staff into the air. He slammed the end of the staff into the ground. Fire erupted from the ground under the dragon, the dragon was completely engulfted in flames. Nagi stomped and a huge chunk of the ground was lifted into the air and hovered above the burning dragon. The rock then fell and a gust of wind exploded from the impact. The top of Nagi's staff glowed as he lifted it again. A giant gash appeared on the ground from pressured wind. He spun the staff into the air and then held the staff with two hands. He slammed it into the ground. The giant rock exploded with spikes. Nagi grinned as he turned away from the dragon corpse. "See?"
"Ha! Is that all? You've barely improved! Why don't I show you how much I improved!"
"My power increased tenfold! I only fought with about ten percent of my strength!"
"Is that so? As expected of my rival! Now, let's see who progressed the most over the years!" Shouted Banzo, grinning.
"Hehe, shall we?!" Nagi's staff glowed, a sword suddenly stabbed the ground between them. Benkei ran over to them.
"What are you doing? Allies don't fight!"
"Fight? This is a practice match!" Said Nagi.
"Maybe we should hold off." Said Banzo. "We still need to find the summoner."
"I sense her, she's running off back towards the Kingdom." Nagi began to glow yellow, static danced around his feet. "Let me dispose of her." He suddenly disappeared.
The woman ran towards the Kingdom. She was suddenly grabbed by the throat and lifted into the air. She looked down to see Nagi infront of her. He pulled back his hand, a large spear of lightning formed. Banzo and Benkei saw an explosion in the distance. The shockwave from it knocked them off their feet. As they got up, Nagi was already there. "What'cha lying around for?" Said Nagi, with a grin on his face.
"Pfft. I decided to rest while I waited for you. Took you awhile, you know." Said Banzo.
"Oh yah? Then let's resume this-" A rock hit him on the head.
"Eh?"
"What are you all doing?!" Shouted Eshun, appearing infront of them.
"What the hell was that for?!" Shouted Nagi, holding the bleeding gash on his head.
"You were causing trouble." Said Eshun, with her head held high. "A prodigy wizard shouldn't be acting like this."
"Hehe, I can act however I want." Replied Nagi.
Eshun threw another rock at him. "Just shut up..." Said Eshun, with a sigh.
"Eh..."
Banzo and Benkei watched the two shout at eachother. Banzo stepped in. "Why don't we get serious now. Nagi, do you know where the other two are?"
Nagi looked down. "Not exactly..."
"Do you think they're alive?"
"Of course! We are Legends, you know."
"Yes, but even Legends die."
"Well, there has been a rumor that Soyen is a leader of a martial arts guild." Said Nagi.
"Soyen? I can't imagine who would want to train under her..."
"You never know. She was powerful." The two shivered, they remembered her strength all too well.
"Lets go pay her a visit then." Said Banzo with a grin. "We need to assemble the four Legends for the upcoming battle."
"Your going to attack the Kingdom?"
"Yep, we need everyone for this."
"What makes you think they'll help?"
"The King has down injustice to all four. Including you and me." Said Banzo, lowering his head.
"I will avenge her death..." Said Nagi, he clenched his fists.
"Then let us set out on the journey." Banzo pulled his sword from the ground. "To find the two remaining Legends!"

TO BE CONTINUED! XD
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 5:24 pm

Nagi and Banzo packed up supplies for the journey. "Hopefully she'll know where the fourth Legend is." Said Banzo, as he swung a bag over his shoulder.
"Hopefully. It'll take about a day to get there by foot."
"Then let's leave now." Banzo turned to Benkei, who watched and awaited the words that he wanted to hear. "Benkei, your in charge till I get back."
Benkei grinned, and inside his head he felt like shouting to the world. "I'll do my best." Said Benkei, holding in the excitment.
"Excellent, then let's depart, Nagi."
"Alright, off to see Soyen!"
The two left the Senshi Fortress, and traveled down a dirt road. "The leader of the Senshi is going for a trip? How interesting..." Said a cloaked figure, as it disappeared into the nearby shadows.
Deep in a nearby forest, Shoun sat under a large tree. His hands shook as he pointed the tip of his blade at his heart. "I cannot live this life. I cannot live a life where I pointed by blade at a child..." He then heard screaming nearby. He withdrew the blade from his chest and looked over in the direction of the scream. A burning village was all he saw. He gripped his sword tightly and ran towards the village. He made it to the gate, he saw soldiers of the Kingdom slaughtering villagers and catching houses on fire. "What the hell is this!?" Shouted Shoun, running in.
"Ah, if it isn't Shoun. We heard you died on the battlefield." Said one of the soldiers with a grin. "I see you have a sword, come join us."
"Join you?! What the hell are you doing!?" Shouted Shoun.
"We are looking for the amulet. It gives great power to the wearer. The King requests it at all costs."
"Sir! We found it!" Shouted a man, running over to the rest. He held a boy by his neck. A shiny amulet hung on a weak string around his neck. "I can't remove it, it burns when I touch it!"
"Is that so? The King said that the one wearing it must agree to the other having it...Or die." The boy appeared to be ten or a little order."Crush his throat."
"Stop! You can't kill a child!" Shouted Shoun angrily.
"Are you going to stand up against the Kingdom?" Asked one of the soldiers, grinning. "Watch as this boy's young life is taken away."
The man held the boy up high and began to squeeze his throat. Shoun appeared infront of the man. His arm was sliced off, and then his head rolled off his neck. The boy fell to the ground, he was still breathing. "Traitor!" Shouted the soldiers, all drawing their swords. "Kill him and the child!" The ran in at Shoun. Shoun looked at them with a cold gaze. He stabbed through one of the soldiers swords and into his chest. He kicked another into a fire. More ran in at him. He stabbed his sword into the ground and was lifted into the air. He kicked one of the soldiers down, and grabbed the sword. He now held two swords, both stained with blood. He blocked each incoming attack. He took a strange stance and awaited the soldiers. They ran in at him, he slashed through all their swords. Their bodies then became covered in bloody gashes, and they all fell over. A soldier stood shaking, as he watched all his comrades fall before him to a single man.
"You won't get away with this! The Kingdom will have you killed!" Shouted the solider. One of Shoun's sword was tossed into his chest. He fell over dead. Shoun stuck his sword into his scabbard and picked up the boy. The amulet was glowing bright. He ran into the forest, and lied the boy under a tree. Shoun sat under another and rested.
"Perhaps this makes up for what I almost did..." He glanced over to the boy and the burned down village. "I've realized what I most do. I must destroy the Kingdom. The King will die by my hands."
"What interesting news." Said the King with a grin. "Not only has the summoner been defeated, but Shoun betrayed us and the Senshi leader is out on a trip." The King began to laugh. "It's perfect! I want every troop ready! Even the Elites! Let us have the great Senshi leader return to a destroyed fortress and murdered allies!"
"Yes, My Lord." The messenger ran into the hall, and began to tell officers and captains. They all grinned and began to gather the troops.
"I love my plans..." Said the King with a grin. "I will have the Senshi crushed and the leader begging for mercy at my feet. How I would love to see tears run down Banzo's face. My dear younger brother's face."
The boy began to awake. He looked around to see Shoun resting under another tree. His eyes widened and looked down. The amulet was still there. He sighed with relief and stood up. "So your awake?" Asked Shoun, his eyes still closed.
"Yes." Answered the boy, trying to think of a way to escape.
"I'm not holding you captive or anything. Your free to leave whenever you want." Said Shoun.
"Oh." The boy sat back down. "Do you know where my village is?" Asked the boy.
Shoun looked down. "Sorry kid." Said Shoun. "It's no longer standing."
"WHAT?!" Shouted the boy angrily. "That can't be!" He stood up and looked ahead. He saw his village gate but no buildings could be seen. He ran over to it to see ashes. Ashes and corpses. "This...can't be right..."
"Accept it." Said Shoun, standing up. "Your welcomed to travel with me till you find a home."
"This is my home!" Shouted the boy. "I will not leave this village!"
"Fine, but don't expect someone to come save you next time." Said Shoun, as he began to walk away.
"I don't need to be saved. Next time, I will defend this village. This is my village and I not allow anyone to harm it...I will correct this injustice!"
Shoun laughed to himself as he walked away.
The next day came. Banzo and Nagi stood outside a large village. Outside on the gate was the word, Power, written in blood. "How creepy." Said Banzo.
"She always was weird. Well, let's go pay our old friend a visit." The two walked in the village, they saw injured people walk by. "Wow, how severe is the training here!?"
They then saw Soyen, sitting on the ground infront of them. Her eyes were closed and she seemed to glow. "Soyen?" Asked Banzo.
Her eyes suddenly opened. "Banzo?! Your still alive?!" She jumped up and tackled him. "I thought you were dead!" She hugged him tightly.
"Can't breathe..." Muttered Banzo. He remembered her strength.
"Weakling. Can't even handle a hug..."
Nagi's eye twitched. "I'm here too!" Shouted Nagi.
"Oh, hey. Glad your alive..." Mumbled Soyen, scratching her head. "What's your name again?"
"...Nagi! The great wizard!"
"Ah, that's right...The pitiful piece of trash who is worthless with his cowardly magic..."
Nagi felt crushed. He sat down and moped.
"Eh..." Banzo got up and brushed himself off. "Well, we came to ask you something."
Soyen's face was now red. A shy smile on her face. "I already know it! Yes, of course! I'll do my best to make you happy! You'll never regret it!"
"...Eh? I came to ask you to help take down the Kingdom..."
Soyen smile was gone. She turned away.
"You ok...?"
"Yes yes..." Mumbled Soyen. She seemed very depressed now. "I thought you were going to ask something else.."
"Like what..?"
"Nevermind..." Mumbled Soyen. "Well, I'll help! IF you can beat me in a hand to hand match. No weapons!"
"Why?"
"I want to see how strong you've become!" Said Soyen,a grin on her face.
"I see...Well, fine. I guess we could have a sparring contest."
"Alright! We meet in this spot in ten minutes!" She ran off, cheeful again.
"So strange..." Mumbled Banzo, he looked over to the crushed Nagi. "Magic isn't too cowardly..." Said Banzo, trying to lift his spirits.
"..." Nagi didn't respond. He rocked back and forth. He began to mumble and chant, "piece of trash...cowardly...." He repeated those words to himself.
"Eh..."

The Kingdom's army marched towards the Senshi fortress. The army was hidden using magic from the mages. The Senshi relaxed and waited for their leader to return. "They should of made it to the guild by now." Said one of the warriors.
"Good. Then we can hope that they will return soon." Said Benkei. His eyes suddenly widened. "Do you feel that?!"
"Feel what?"
Benkei grabbed a sword and ran outside of the fortress. "I could of swore something was here...Unless..." He paused, he then saw footprints getting closer and closer to the fortress. "EVERYONE PREPARE FOR BATTLE! IT'S AN AMBUSH!" Shouted Benkei.
"He figured it out." Said one of the soldiers.
"It must be Benkei, the one who killed Gisho."
"He must be fun to fight..." Said another.
Arrows rained down from the sky on to the invisible army. The mages lost focus and some were killed. The magic wore off and the army was visible. Warriors ran out from the fortress shouting their battle cries. Swords and spears clashed. Some soldiers ran into a nearby forest. Benkei ran into the army and slashed at each soldier in his path. Benkei then found himself surrounded. Soldiers ran in at him, he stabbed his blade into one. He caught the next incoming blade with his hands and flipped the soldier into the air. More swords rushed in at him. He evaded and kicked through the blades. He grabbed a sword from the ground and tossed it into the air. He used one of the incoming blades as a step and launched into the air. He caught his falling blade and slashed off several soldiers heads as he fell. He punched through the armor they wore. He ducked and slashed off a soldiers arm. He then took the other blade and now used two blades. Soldiers ran in from all sides. He blocked every attack and pushed them away. He then dashed into a crowd of enemy soldiers and began to kill each one.
"I hate leaving the fortress." Said a woman holding a pole.
"They need you out there, Clare." Said an old man. "You and your shape-shifting weapon."
"Fine." Mumbled Clare, as she ran out into the chaos. She used the pole to push herself off the ground. She landed in the middle of several enemy soldiers. Her pole suddenly became an axe and she slashed at each one. A soldier stabbed at her from behind, her weapon became a shield and covered her entire body. The shield then grew spikes that rapidly shot through several more soldiers. It then became a spear and she pierced through more soldiers. The fortress's army was losing. Many Senshi warrior were being slaughtered by a single soldier. He carried a battle axe with no armor. He grinned as he swung his axe with ease. It moved too fast for Senshi warriors to see so they couldn't block. A sword suddenly stopped the axe. The man turned to see Benkei there. He stabbed his sword through the head of the axe. The man grinned and kicked Benkei back. He ran in with his stabbed axe and Benkei blocked the incoming hits. The two exchanged blows. Sparks flew into the air, soldiers wouldn't dare enter the one on one battle. The power from each attack was shocking. Cracks began to appear on each of their weapons. The two realized this and tossed their weapons to the side. They both attack an enemy soldier and took their weapon. The two then continued their battle.
"This looks fun..." Said a man, appearing next to the two. "May I join in." Benkei's arm was suddenly cut off. He stumbled back to see the man who cut off his arm was the King. "You look shocked. The King should enter the battle aswell."
Benkei stood up and held his sword with his remaining hand.
"Your still going to fight? You want to fight to protect a King who left you all to die?"
Benkei gripped his sword tightly. "He will be back. He'll come back and kill you."
"You have so much faith in him. It's quite disgusting." The King rushed in at him. Their blades clashed, the two attacked eachother with quick swings. They blocked and attacked, both not able to land a hit. "Such power and skill for someone so young." Said the King with a laugh. "Too bad you'll die in this battle." He then stabbed his sword into Benkei's stomache. Benkei fell to his knees. "Knee before me." Said the King mockingly.
A ball of fire crashed before the King. Smoke covered the area, Benkei was helped up by someone. When they got out of the smoke, Benkei saw Eshun. "So reckless! You can't hope to fight the King on your own!" Shouted Eshun.
"He insulted our leader. I can't let something like that go unpunished."
"Whatever." She then placed her hand on his stomache. The wound quickly healed up. In her other hand, she carried his lost arm. She placed it near him and then it flashed. The arm was now reatatched.
"As amazing as ever." Said Benkei.
"Hehe, I am an Elite healer! There is nothing I can't heal."
"Is that so." Said the King, appearing behind her. He slashed off her arm. She cried out in pain as she fell into her own puddle of blood. Benkei fell and tried to get up to help her. He pushed himself up, but was too late. Eshun lied in her pool of blood, a longsword through her back. "My hand slipped." Said the King, shrugging.
Benkei watched Eshun's dead body. He trembled with anger and regret. He heard the King laugh. "You look troubled! Did I do something wrong? Hahaha!!!" The King laughed loudly. Benkei's trembling stopped. He appeared infront of the King, and punched him back. "Ooo, you continue to fight? Excellent!" Benkei grabbed the hilt of the blade the rested in Eshun's back. He closed his eyes and pulled the blade out. He stared at Eshun's blood.
"You will not die in vain..." Said Benkei. "I will not die until your avenged. I will not die until I achieve the peace you desired. I will not die..." He looked at the King. "Till this man is dead."
"Such bold words. Do you have the ability to back them up." Benkei charged in. The King grabbed a sword from the ground and blocked the incoming slash. The two slashed and blocked. Benkei was pushing the King back.
"I will not die!" Shouted Benkei. He pushed the King back more. He managed to leave a gash on the King's shoulder. "I will not die!" Shouted Benkei, he left another gash on the King. The King's grin was gone. He evaded the incoming hit and stabbed his blade into Benkei's stomache. Benkei coughed up blood and gripped the King's arm. "I WILL NOT DIE!" He slashed off the King's arm. The King jumped back, blood pouring out from him. He was angry now. The King charged in and attacked. Benkei evaded each strike, and slashed back. The King was becoming stained in his own blood.
"You sure fight well!" Shouted the King, regaining his cool. "But how would Eshun feel seeing you fight like this?"
Benkei gripped his sword tightly and stabbed the King's side. The King pushed Benkei back and ignored the pain. The two continued to clash blades.
"I will not die until your dead!!!" Shouted Benkei, he then stained his sword into the King's chest. The King's body went limb. "Did I..." The King's sword stabbed through him. The King laughed as his body slowly stood up.
"Enough warm ups. Its time for you to die." A gash appeared on Benkei. The King appeared behind him. "Where is that quote now?" Benkei coughed up more blood and swung his sword at the King. The King laughed and blocked. He kicked Benkei into a tree. Then stabbed his sword into the ground. The area around them exploded, and trees were on fire. The King was then suprised. Benkei stood up in the flames, he walked towards the King. A tree fell towards him and it was suddenly cut into small pieces.
"I will not die." His paced increased. "I will not die!" He began to run. "I will not die!!! He stabbed the King rapidly. The King laughed as he slashed at Benkei. Benkei didn't flinch at the attack and continued to stab. The King was struck with fear.
"What the hell are you?!" Shouted the King.
"You shouldn't be asking that question. You seem immortal..."
"So you figured it out? But I would like to know what you are."
"Me...? I am one of the Senshi Elite." Another gash appeared on the King. Benkei punched the King into the air. He was barely able to block Benkei's flying sword. Benkei jumped and caught his blade. He began to barrage the King with slashes as they crashed into the ground. The King lunged his blade up into Benkei. The sword ran through his heart. Benkei then stopped moving.
"Dead already?" The King laughed and pushed Benkei to the side. His arm suddenly regenerated. "It was fun while it lasted." The King brushed himself off, grinned, then walked back to the battlefield. The sword was still in Benkei's chest. Benkei's eyes were still open. His breathing was heavy.
"I...can't....die...." He coughed up blood, and pulled the sword from his chest. He hand began to glow and he struck himself in the chest. The wound slowly healed. "I can't die...I've swore that I'd kill him...I cannot die..." He pushed himself up. "I will not die."
Banzo and Soyen now faced eachother in an arena. "If I remember correctly, Banzo, you weren't too good without your sword." She ran in at him, he grinned and caught her fist. He pushed her back.
"Like any good swordsmen knows, the sword is not a weapon. It is an extension of yourself. So with or without a blade, I will continue to fight." They both ran at eachother. Soyen's punches seemed to grow fastered everytime she hit him. He kicked her back, and swung a punch. She blocked and hit him back. She took a stance and slowly moved towards him. He took a kendo stance, but held both his fists at his side. The two slowly moved closer and closer. They then jumped at eachother and attacked. Banzo evaded and punched her back.
"Good, good! I guess I can use this technique..." She took a strange stance. Her arms began to rapidly move around her, a ball of aura formed around her. She moved closer to Banzo. Banzo charged in, and swung a punch through the aura. His fist was caught and thrown into the air. The circle began to expand, and he fell into it. Her punches rapidly hit him. They came from all directions. He couldn't block, he stood and endured. He stomped the ground and closed his eyes. the punches continued to hit him. He ignored the pain, he isolated himself from the outside world. He focused his energy, and punched forward. Soyen was pushed off her feet. Banzo was in a stance that looked as if he lunged a blade forward. "Interesting..."
"My fists are my blades." Said Banzo with a grin. He charged in, she jumped and kicked the side of his head. Banzo flew to the side, he stopped himself and ran in again. She blocked, he began to push her back. He kicked her back, and pulled his right hand back. He the punched forward, Soyen felt as if a dull blade hit her. She crashed into the ground.
"Haha! Shouldn't of trained so hard! I can't fight at full force!" Laughed Soyen. "I can't win at this rate, perhaps we'll continue another day. Though you may consider me an ally."
"Alright! Nagi, we just need to find-" Nagi was still sulking. "Eh..."
"So I guess your looking for Suzuka." Said Soyen.
"Yep, once we gather everyone, we will be ready to fight."
"Then let's depart now!" Shouted Soyen, grabbing Banzo's arm. "I know where she is!"
"Really?"
"Of course! She's in the forest nearby, training."
"Then let's get her. The King will not stand for long."

The King grinned as he walked down the battlefield. "It seems that warrior back there was the only one who could put up a good fight..." He laughed to himself and slashed down other Senshi warriors. A pole then slammed into his side, knocking him off his feet. Clare was above him, her pole became a spear and she stabbed it down at him. The King rolled to the side and jumped up. He grabbed a sword and ran at her. She pushed herself off the ground and kicked the sword out of his hands. She caught the blade and stabbed it into him. He laughed as she backed away, surprised. "You can't kill me...I can't die!" Laughed the King, as he began to swing his fists at her. She evaded and stabbed a sword into his stomache. He laughed as he pulled it out. He ran at her with the sword and slashed at her. She blocked and her pole became a spiked shield. She slammed the spikes in the King. He laughed as he stumbled back. "Such power...It would be a shame to kill you now...Oh well." He appeared behind her and stabbed at her. The shield melted and appeared behind her and blocked the hit. "How did you...?"
"You can't win." Said Clare, turning around. "I can see and read all of your moves."
"What?!" He stabbed his sword at her, she evaded and broke his arm. She could hear the bones crack back into place.
"I guess killing you won't be easy...But I have time to spare." She ran in and kicked him back. He tossed his sword at her and she caught it by the hilt. She tossed it back, it pierced his shoulder. Before he could remove it, Clare appeared infront of him and ripped it out. He shouted in pain as he fell back. She grabbed his neck and tossed him into the air. Her pole then swiftly wrapped around him and held him.
"What an interesting weapon..." Said the King, as he regained his cool. "What will you do if it breaks?"
"It will never break." Said Clare. The tip of the pole became the head of a scythe and it curled around his neck. He grinned, and became water. He reformed behind her and slashed at her. She blocked and kicked him back.
"It seems...I can't kill you using normal methods..." Said Clare.
"You can't kill me using any methods!" Laughed the King. He stomped and rock spikes shot up from under Clare. She stepped to the side. More spikes fired from the original one at her. She blocked them all. As the spikes fell, more branched out at her. She couldn't evade or block them. They pierced through her and she fell to her knees. "Since you can read all my movements, I just need to make an unreadable pattern." Laughed the King. The spikes began to grow and more spikes branched from them while they were still inside her. She coughed up blood as she fell over. Tenno crashed infront of the King and swung his sword at him. "I've had enough of these games." He broke the blade and punched through Tenno's chest. He ripped his hand out and Tenno fell to the ground in his own puddle of blood. "I've grown tiresome of these weaklings..."
Banzo, Soyen, and Nagi traveled down a dirt road through a forest. A woman fired arrows through neabry trees. "Suzuka!" Shouted Nagi. "You appreciate magic, right?"
"All I need are my arrows, your magic is useless." Answered Suzuka, not even turning their way.
Nagi's eye twitched as he turned around. "Don't worry Nagi, magic is powerful." Said Banzo, scratching his head.
"Why are you here?" Asked Suzuka.
"We've come to ask you to help us kill the King."
"And I deny." Replied Suzuka.
"Why?" Asked Banzo.
"It does not interest me in the affairs of the King. He may live or die, it doesn't effect me at all."
"If you won't do it for yourself, then do it for your brother-" An arrow shot past Banzo's neck, barely missing him.
"Leave." Said Suzuka.
"Come on, Banzo." Said Soyen. "We don't need her to kill the King anyway."
"I guess three is enough...But Suzuka, are you sure?"
"Leave now." Snapped Suzuka. The three nodded and left. They traveled back towards the Kingdom.
"I'll use my magic to teleport us there, since my magic ISN'T WORTHLESS." Shouted Nagi into Soyen's ear.
"Then do it already."
They then vanished, Suzuka stopped firing her arrows. She sat down under a tree. She looked into the dirt. "My brother...Would not want to be avenged..."
The group appeared at the destroyed fortress. They were shocked. "What...What happened here?!" Shouted Banzo, angrily.
"So the mighty leader fianlly shows his cowardly face." Said the King, sitting on Tenno's dead body.
"You...What have you done?!" Shouted Banzo.
"I've done nothing. I just wanted to test your little army. I was merely playing."
Banzo clenched the hilt of his sword tightly. The King grinned.
"You look troubled. Whatever could be wrong? You should be happy, I was able to kill off all the weaklings for you." Laughed the King. "The weaklings you weren't able to protect-"
The hilt of the sword Banzo held broke from his strength. "I will kill you!" Shouted Banzo, the sky began to glow.
"Ah yes. You had a nickname didn't you...Now what was it again..." Swords rained down from the sky, the tips of all the blades stuck in the ground. They covered the battlefield. "I believe it was...Banzo of the Thousand Swords."
Banzo gripped a sword and tossed it at the King. He moved his head to the side and dodged the blade. "You missed, brother."
Soyen appeared above him and hit the ground. The area exploded from the impact. Pieces of land lifted from the ground and cracks ran down the earth. She punched him, sending the King flying back. He crashed into the ground and skidded into several trees. She ran after him, so did Banzo and Nagi. The King laughed as he stood up and cracked his neck. Fire erupted from under the King. He walked out from the flames, unschathed. Banzo picked up another one of his swords and cut off the King's arm. It quickly regrew and he punched Banzo back. Nagi slammed his staff into the ground. He then let go of the staff and it stood in the ground. Nagi's faced showed only anger. Darkness swirled around him, light began to materialize on his back. Lightning surged around him, gusts of wind blew violently near him. Rocks lifted from the ground, they covered his fists. Fire danced on his arms and legs. He pulled back one arm, a spear made from elements formed. He then disappeared, he appeared again in the air, holding the King by his neck. He tossed the King into the air then through his spear. The spear pierced through the King's stomache and exploded. Elements rained down from the sky, Nagi fell back to the ground. Pure energy began to swirl around him. It all formed into the center of his palm, and he fired it at the King. Trees were uprooted from the blast. The King laughed as he walked down the air like stairs. His image flickered and everyone was sent flying back. Banzo stopped himself and began to focus. Swords nearby began to glow.
"You think I'd let you pull off a big move?" Laughed the King, running at him. An arrow shot into him and he exploded. He began to reform, and thousands of arrows fell from the sky. They were all focused on him. The King laughed as he jumped into the air and found Suzuka. He grabbed her throat and tossed her into the ground. She coughed up blood as she tried to stand. The King kicked her back, he then walked towards Banzo again. A blast of fire engulfed him. Lighting surged down from the sky at him. He caught the lightning and fired it all at Nagi. It struck Nagi, he coughed up blood and fell over. He held his chest, the lightning continued to shock him. Soyen appeared and punched the King into the ground. She barraged him with punches, rocks lifted from the ground with each punch. The land shook, but the King was able to catch her punch and tossed her into the air. He through a sword up and pierced through her stomache. She fell to the ground, her breathing stopped. Nagi managed to stand and pressurized water struck the King. He caught the blast and sent it into the air. He pointed his finger at Nagi, a hole suddenly appeared in his chest. Nagi fell over intohis puddle of blood, Suzuka fired arrows at the King. He caught one of the arrow and sent it flying into her chest. She fell back, the arrow still in her chest. A loud sound came from Banzo's direction and the King looked over. The ground near him was covered in slices. He walked towards the King, he looked as if he were ready to die. The King laughed and through a sword at him. The sword was sliced as soon as it was near Banzo. Banzo teleported next to the hilts of his swords, and managed to get behind the King. He punched the King's back, gashes appeared all over him. His spine was barely intact. "I see...So you are now a blade...Brother, we trained together! Why haven't I seen this technique!? What secrets are you hiding, brother!!!" Shouted the King running at him, Banzo punched his chest. Cuts and gashes appeared on the King as he flew back. "This ability...It must be taking a toll on your body! How long can you fight again someone who's immortal!?" The King's wounds all healed up. He ran forward and punched Banzo back. Banzo barely moved and kicked the King. He ran after the King and barraged him with punches as he ran. Banzo then stopped and coughed up blood. He fell to his knees, cuts appeared on his body. "It would seem your at your limit, brother. How boring." He slashed the air, Banzo fell over into a puddle of blood. "I guess it's over." The King laughed, he then stopped. "It seems I've reached my regeneration limit...Once I rest up, I should be able to regenerate again..." He heard someone shout a battle cry in the distance. He looked over to see Benkei standing with the sword that stabbed him. "So your alive?! How?! Tell me, Senshi, what is your name!?" Shouted the King.
"Benkei." Answered Benkei.
The King's grin was gone. So this is Benkei?! The King began to laughed. "The great prodigy Benkei! The disciple of the great four legends! It makes sense now!" Laughed the King. "So how do you feel?! Seeing your four great masters dead!" The King laughed to himself.
Benkei gripped his sword with anger. He remembered his past. "So your the one everyones talking about?" Laughed Banzo.
"Yes." Answered Benkei.
"He doesn't seem talkative." Said Suzuka. "It would be nice to train someone who doesn't talk."
"No one likes silence!" Shouted Soyen, running to Banzo's side. "To train a prodigy...We'll be remembered as Legends and heros!" Laughed Soyen.
"Some fame would be nice." Said Nagi. "And I need an apprentice."
"We all need an apprentice. Everyone needs a successer." Said Banzo with a grin. "So what do you say kid? You want to be trained by the great Legends themselves!"
Benkei snapped out of his flashback and nodded. "I will avenge them. I will not let you leave this place alive."
"Is that so? Then come at me!"
Benkei appeared behind him and kicked him. He stumbled forward and he appeared infront of him then kneed his stomache. The King coughed up blood, he swung a punch at Benkei. Benkei's hands moved swiftly around him, a circle of aura covered him. He barraged the King with a thousand punches and sent him flying back. "This is for Soyen!" Shotued Benkei, punching the King into the air. "This is for Nagi!" He clapped his hands and the King bursted into flames. Benkei held out his hand, and light materialized into arrows. "This is for Suzuka!" The arrows shot into the King's arms and legs. He couldn't move them. Benkei ran forward with his bloody sword. He became faster as the King fell towards the ground. "This is..." I can't die! Not yet! I am the King! I am immortal! This is impossible!!! "For Banzo!" He sliced off the King's head as he fell. Benkei appeared behind the King's body. Clare limped towards him, a pole in her hand.
"It seems I missed out..." Mumbled Clare.
"Please don't treat this like a game." Said Benkai. He walked forward, the sun was setting. "In the end, we've created a new beginning. Some surviving Senshi warriors stood behind him. "We are the Senshi! We will not die!" The Senshi warriors roared and cheered. He turned to them. "Please bury the four great Legends-" He noticed all four were gone. Are they still alive? "Nevermind." Said Benkei. "Today marks a great day for the Senshi. We have survived. May the Senshi live on and never die!" The Senshi warriors cheers.
"This was our beginning."

Shoun was shocked. He stood behind a bush and looked over the battlefield. The King dead at Benkei's feet. Shoun clenched his fists, he couldn't stop smiling. The King was finally dead. But how will I quench this lust for vengeance? Shoun scratched his head as he departed back into the forest. It was quiet, he could hear small animals running over the leaves and twigs. It felt peaceful for once. He sighed and kept walking, he glanced in the direction of the burned down village. The boy was punching a tree nearby. His fists were covered in his own blood, the tree's bark was destroyed. He continued punching the tree while mumbling to himself. "I'll protect everyone next time. I'll kill the King, along with the entire damn kingdom."
Shoun laughed to himself as he emerged from a bush, surprising the boy. "Your too late." Said Shoun.
"Too late?" Asked the boy, he stopped punching the tree. Blood dripped from his fists.
"Yes, I'm sure you heard of that rebellion a year ago right?"
"The one lead by Banzo?"
"Yes, well, it seems his student was risen and killed the King." Said Shoun, shrugging.
"What?! Was that all the noise earlier?"
"Yes, so what are you going to do now?"
The boy lowered his head, the amulet rested on his chest. It began to glow. "Then I guess I have a new resolve." Said the boy, regaining his confidence. "I'll just join that group."
"And you sure they'll let a kid like you join?"
"Of course, they seem like good people for killing the King." The boy grinned and walked past Shoun. "Why don't you come too?"
"I would never be able to join." Said Shoun.
"Why?"
Shoun turned to the boy. "Because I'm a knight of the Kingdom." Said Shoun, as he walked off in another direction.
"..." The boy was speechless. The one who he was grateful too was also an enemy that could of aided in the destruction of his village. A smirk grew on his face, "I guess the Kingdom wasn't all bad." Said the boy, walking towards the battlefield.
"So how many are still alive?" Asked Benkei, he was still confused about the bodies vanishing.
"It would seem only fifty or so." Answered Clare, as she glanced back at the fortress. The walls were damaged and the blood of both enemies and allies stained the remaining walls.
"We have enough to start a new Kingdom then." Said Benkei.
"This isn't a Kingdom." Said Clare, a smile on her face. "We aren't going to put in the same group as that horrible King. We are Senshi. It's a home, not a kingdom."
"Your right." Said Benkei, he stabbed his sword into the ground. "We're just one big happy family then." Said Benkei, a grin on his face. "Lets begin the repairs."
"What a confident leader." Said a shadow, watching from a distance. "I'll report this to the others at once." She disappeared into a tree.
"Are you the one who killed the King?" Asked a boy, emerging from the forest. Benkei turned to him and nodded. "Then allow me to join you!" Exclaimed the boy, bowing.
"Eh?" Benkei scratched his head. "Sure, what's your name?"
The boy was silent. "I don't remember."
"Is that so?" Said Benkei, he noticed the amulet. The amulet has chosen it's new master then. It does bring back memories "Well, we'll have to give you a name then."
"Your going to give me a name?" Asked the boy.
"Don't sound so disappointed." Mumbled Benkei. He rubbed his chin, "your name shall be...Shaku." Said Benkei.
"Shaku? That sounds weird."
"Live with it." Mumbled Benkei, annoying by him. "Clare, can you gather everyone? We need to begin preperations as soon as possible."
"Alright." Said Clare, she walked to the fortress, and began shouting for everyone to come out. Citizens ran out, as well as some soldiers.
"So the untrained and unarmed lived..." Said Benkei, observing them. "That means I'll have to train them. I'll be a master just like them..."

TO BE CONTINUED?! XD

Wounded warroirs and civilians crowded around Benkei. "We must begin to rebuild!" Shouted Benkei. "We can't seem vulnerable to our enemies!"
"Enemies? The King is dead, who else is there?" Asked Clare.
Benkei shot a glare at Clare. "Don't pretend to forget, Clare."
"But they're dead! The four Legends killed them!" Shouted Clare.
"You think they would all be killed off so easily? There are more, and they are still hungry." Said Benkei. Clare lowered her head and shivered. She remembered her parents slaughtered before her eyes. Her siblings running to challenge the beast, only to be killed. She remembered the feeling of blood raining onto her, the screams of her family to tell her to run. She remembered the fear. She dozed off, living in her horrible memories.
"Everyone run! I'll hold it off!" Shouted Clare's father. He held a mace and ran forward, the talons of the beast ran into his chest. His body was tossed aside, the mother ran at the beast with tears in her eyes. It swiped it's claws at her, her body fell to the ground in a pool of blood. Clare watched in terror, as her siblings charged in. They screamed curses, and wildly swung their weapons. All of them were killed. Blood rained down on the young Clare, her family was lying dead before her eyes. The growling beast walked up to her, she was shaking. Tears ran from her eyes, her eyes suddenly became still. Then ten year old child was suddenly slashed, she flew back into a wall. She managed to stand, the beast began to back up. She was covered in her own blood.
"How...How did I survive...?! WHY DID I SURVIVE THIS AND NOT THEM?!" Shouted Clare in anger and sadness. She charged forward, the creature lunged it's claws at her and she evaded. She punched it, it stepped back. It roared and slashed at her. The bloody claws were stopped, she opened her eyes to see a sword stopping the claws.
"This thing sure is ugly." Laughed Banzo.
"Kill it quickly, we need to return to Benkei's training." Said Soyen. "We must train him to prepare for a real child!" Said Soyen with a giggle.
Banzo sighed, and returned his attention to the creature. He pushed to creature back, it was launched into the air and through to roof. Banzo jumped after it.
"Are you ok?" Asked Nagi, croutched down by Clare.
She was silent, the tears still rolling down her face. "Please..."
"Eh?"
"Please let me kill it." Said Clare.
"We can't let you do that! You'll be killed!" Shouted Nagi, surprised by her request.
"But-"
"Fine, but we'll back you up." Said Suzuka. Putting a hand on her shoulder.
"We can't let her fight!" Exclaimed Nagi.
"Nagi...Look around the room." Said Suzuka, her voice sounded sad.
"It's pretty dark, I can't see anything." Said Nagi, scratching his head. He held out his staff and an orb of light lit up the room. "This..." He was shocked. Bloody bodies in puddles of blood. All with weapons in their hands. "This...Isn't your family is it?"
Clare nodded.
Nagi appeared different. "We can't let that thing get away with this." Said Nagi, angry. "Banzo! Don't kill it."
"What?!" Shouted Banzo, from the top of the roof.
"We need to let this child kill it. If you want a reason, please look down here."
"I saw it Nagi, your the only one who has bad eyesight." Said Banzo, Nagi's eye twitched. "I understand though, come outside.
The group walked outside, Banzo and Benkei were fighting the creature. Clare was amazed, Benkei was her age and still able to fight so well.
Two arrows shot at the beast, one in each shoulder. It howled and backed up. "Go now." Said Suzuka.
Clare ran in, the beast slashed at her. She blocked but was sent back.
"How did she survive something like that?" Shouted Banzo.
"Resolve." Answered Suzuka.
Clare crashed into the side of her house. She opened her eyes to see a chest. It was cracked and old. This must only be opened when needed. If you touch the chest without a pure heart, you will die. Clare remembered her father's words. She closed her eyes, stopping the tears. She opened them again, a new look in her eyes. "I will open this! For father, for mother, for brother and sister! I WILL AVENGE THEM WITH A PURE HEART!" Shouted Clare, lifting the top of the chest up. A bright flash came from it. Clare felt more powerful now, and inside the chest was an iron ring. She lifted it up, it was heavy but she refused to drop it. She slipped it onto her finger, it suddenly became light.
"Is she coming out?" Asked Banzo.
"Who knows." Answered Soyen while she was holding the beast back with a single finger.
Clare walked from the fallen debris. The ring glowed brightly, the creature jumped and dived at her. An iron shield appeared infront of her, blocking the beast.
"How interesting." Said Suzuka. "It must be it...The Iron Ring."
"One of the rings are here?" Asked Nagi, poking his head up.
"The girl picked it up, and it's now hers. You can't take it." Said Suzuka. Nagi sighed.
Clare ran in at the beast, a large iron sword was held high above her head. She slashed the beast's arm off. It fell back, blood pouring from it's shoulder. Clare jumped and slammed the sword down. The beast rolled to the side, and jumped at her. Clare blocked the beast, and push it into the air. She jumped and an iron shield appeared under her feet and she rose into the air after it. It dived down and attacked her. She blocked off the attack, and they both attacks as they fell. Clare was beginning to grow tired. The creature punched her and she was sent crashing into the ground. She coughed up blood as she stood back up. It dived down at her and she lunged her sword upward. It impaled the beast's chest. The creature's body was limb, and as she lowered her sword, it slid off the blade.
The group clapped, smiles on their faces. "She was able to avenge her family." Said Nagi.
"Yes." Said Banzo, they watched her fell to her knees and cried. "She has found the truth of the world. How harsh it really can be."
Suzuka bent down beside her, and helped her up to her feet. "It's ok." Said Suzuka. "Come with us."
The group nodded with smiles. Tears ran down Clare's face again. "I...I don't want to lose anyone else."
Benkei walked infront of her and held out his hand. "We won't die." Said Benkei. "You won't either." She grabbed his hand.
"So what's your name?" Asked Soyen.
"Clare."
"It's like we have a son and a daughter now!" Said Soyen, laughing.
Banzo scratched his head. "Eh?"
"Nevermind." Said Soyen with a giggle.
Clare smiled at the group. She found a new family.
"Does everyone know their jobs now?" Shouted Benkei, snapping Clare out of her flashbacks.
The Senshi nodded and ran to the fortress. Preparing to build it back up again."You ok?" Asked Benkei to Clare. A few drops of tears were under her eyes.
She rose her head with a smile on her face. "Yah."
"Then why are you...? Eh, nevermind. Let's begin."
"Begin what?" Asked Clare.
"Our journey. We are going to get some alliances and new members for Senshi." Said Benkei, a grin on his face.

"A journey?" Asked Clare. "Do we need to begin so early?"
"Of course, we will need allies to protect us while we rebuild. It would be best to get as many as possible." Said Benkei, he turned to Shaku. "I guess we'll bring you along too."
"Bring me along? Won't I be killed? You haven't trained me yet!" Shouted Shaku.
"You'll be trained while we travel, and no one will die on this journey." Said Benkei. "We leave tomorrow, so prepare yourselves."
"Just the three of us?" Asked Clare.
"I'm sure we'll find more to join us on our travel. The number won't stay low for long." Said Benkei, as he began to walk back to the fortress. Clare sighed and followed Benkei. Shaku walked over to a bloody sword on the ground. He grabbed the hilt, but failed to pick it up.
"How heavy are these things?!" Shouted Shaku, as he finally lifting it from the ground. He tumbled back and the sword almost fell on him. He got up, looked around, and followed Benkei and Clare.
The dead King lied on the ground, covered in blood and burns. A figure in a robe ran out, and stood over the King. It reached out it's hand, and a purple flame rose from the King's chest and absorbed into it's palm. The figure laughed, and stared at the fortress. "I...I could destroy...But I'd much rather make some allies..." The figure began to ponder as it returned to the forest.
"He's dead!?" Shouted a woman, jumping from her chair.
"The King was killed by the prodigy Benkei." Said a messenger.
"This is great! Get the horses ready, I want to ride to him and praise him!" Exclaimed the woman. "We could make them into allies."
"Yes, My Queen."

The sun rose, letting the light shine over the destroyed fortress. People groaned as they got up, Benkei, Clare, and Shaku were already gone. The Senshi begun the building and repairing.
"So do we even know where we're going?" Asked Clare, as she watched Benkei spin around a map.
"Nope." Answered Benkei with a sigh. "I guess we keep going until we find someone."
"You should of planned this better." Said Shaku, picking his ear.
"I didn't have time to plan! We need allies!" Exclaimed Benkei.
"You were able to kill the King, shouldn't you be able to protect them without help?"
"I won't always be around to protect them, Clare and I aren't immortal. We need others to help when we die." Said Benkei.
"But we'll be on the battlefield for awhile, we won't die anytime soon." Said Clare, as she increased her pace. "Let's try going a little faster-" The group stopped as they saw a woman speeding on a horse towards them. The horse stopped and sent the woman flying. She landed infront of the group. Knights ran after her.
"Your Highness!" Shouted the knights. They all pointed their swords and spears at the group. "Back away from her."
"We didn't do anything!" Shouted Shaku. "It was her recklessness."
The Queen jumped up, and dusted herself off. She stared at the group, and they stared back. "Who are you?" Asked the Queen.
"Shaku!" Exclaimed Shaku, pointing to himself.
"Clare." Said Clare, still startled by the Queen flying at them.
"Benkei-"
"Benkei!" Shouted the Queen. "The one who killed the King!?"
"News travels fast." Said Benkei. "Yah, I-"
"Come to my kingdom! Let us talk of alliances! We are having a tough time and could use some help!"
Benkei grinned and turned to Shaku and Clare. "Told yah we'd find someone." He turned back to the Queen. "Alright, lead the way."
A huge smile grew on the Queen's face and she began to clap. "Excellent! Excellent!" She ran over to her horse, and got on. "Follow us!" She rode off, leaving the group and the knights in the dust.
"...Allow us to escort you." Said one of the knights, beckoning them over. They walked on the dirt road, the sun still high in the sky.
"We there yet?" Asked Shaku.
"No." Said a knight.
"When will we get there?" Asked Shaku.
"Eventually." Answered the knight.
"What do you mean-"
"Quiet!" Shouted Benkei, annoyed.
"Eh."
The group continued to walk, the sun began to lower.
The figure from before watched from behind a tree. "Should I try talking to them now...?" Asked the figure to itself. "No...Not now..."
Growling could be heard ahead. The knights all held their weapons tightly. "What's ahead?" Asked Clare, a pole forming in her hand.
"Maybe some wolves...Hopefully." Said a knight.
"Shall we release them?" Asked a shadow to another.
"Why not, Master did say to test them. Master wanted to know if they're really the ones who killed the King."
"What do we do if they kill our pets?"
"Master said to return and report. If they are the ones, the Master can begin to move."
"Master is using the plan?"
"Yes, Master said that without the King, Master wouldn't have to waste more Darkness."
"Oh. So do we release them now?"
"Yes, maybe we can return to Master with a good report!"
"Feast! Feast!" Shouted the shadow, creatures ran forward.
Before the group could react, the creatures appeared infront of them and slashed one of the knights. The others charged in, ten beasts growled and snarled at them. Clare's legs were shaking. "It...It can't be...Those creatures again."
"I told you they weren't on wiped out." Said Benkei, a sword fell from the sky and landed in his hand. "I can't make one thousand swords like Banzo, but one should do." He charged in at them. The creatures snickered, and fought. The knights could barely block the attacks. They slashed and stab, the beasts managed to evade them all. An eruption of fire bursted out from Benkei's fist, engulfing several beast's in flames. Clare ran in and stabbed a pole through the forhead of one. Others slashed, and several shields appeared around her to block. Spikes grew out from the shiends and they all bashed into the beasts. Shaku watched in terror. He was too afraid to move. His amulet glew brightly. One beast jumped over them and dived at Shaku. He reacted on his own and punched at the beast. A bloody gash ran up his arm. He screamed in pain as he fell back. A spear flew through the back of the beast, it fell over dead. Clare pulled the spear out and returned to the battle. The beasts were now all dead. The group relaxed, two dead knights lied under a tree. A laughing figure emerged from a tree.
"Master appeared?" Asked one of the shadows.
"Master! Master!"
"I wanted to watch with my own eyes." Said the figure, pitch black shoulder guards and chest plate reflected the moonlight.
The figure watching was surprised. "Maybe I should show myself now...No...Not now."
"So you show yourself atlast." Said Benkei. "Dark Lord."
"I'm honored to meet the great Benkei. I must thank you for killing that annoying King. He would of been a pain to get rid off." The Dark Lord glanced over at Clare. "The Iron Ring? So my beast failed..."
Clare's eyes widened, she remembered that night. "You..."
"What a pitiful creature I've sent. I believe it only managed to kill a few humans aswell. It was a failed expirment."
"You..." Clare was shaking in rage.
"I should of sent more..."
Clare charged at him. "You b*****d!!!" Shouted Clare, lunged a large iron sword forward.
"Shatter."
The iron sword was destroyed. The iron scraps fell to the ground. She made a spear and lunged forward.
"Break."
The spear snapped in half. She made a hammer and jumped into the air. Tears of sorrow and rage ran down her face.
"Disappear." The hammer exploded, the metal shards dug into Clare, she crashed into the ground. "May I continue talking?" Asked the Dark Lord.
Clare crawled forward, the iron ring glowing. Iron spikes formed all around the Dark Lord, and all lunged in at once. Benkei ran in, the iron spikes all turned to ash. He swung his sword at the Dark Lord, he blocked and pushed Benkei back. Benkei through his sword at the Dark Lord, and rock hands rose from the ground and held the Dark Lords feet. He punched and destroyed the sword. The rock hands turned to dirt, and fell to the ground. Benkei ran in, his fists covered in flames. Swirling wind wrapped around his feet and increased in speed. He punched the Dark Lord, who blocked but was forced back. The Dark Lord punched at Benkei, but Benkei caught his foot and the Dark Lord's leg suddenly froze. He stepped back, cracks appeared on the frozen leg. His leg suddenly shattered, and was gone. Benkei ran in and stabbed the Dark Lord with a new sword. The Dark Lord snickered as the sword ran through his chest. His leg suddenly reformed, and he kicked Benkei in the stomache. Bones could be heart breaking, and he coughed up blood. Benkei flew back and skidded across the ground. Shaku watched and shaked. "I'm...I'm so useless..." Said Shaku, clenching his fists in rage. "I can't do anything..." The amulet began to glow brightly. "I must do something!" Shouted Shaku. Light shot out from the amulet and wrapped around Shaku. Benkei watched as he tried to push himself up. Clare was too focused on revenge to notice. The light then dispersed, glowing armor covered Shaku.
"The amulet...I've been looking for it ever since he died. The new owner is him?" The Dark Lord laughed. "Not only will I kill a prodigy, but I will get the Iron Ring and the Amulet." He ran forward, Shaku rose his hand. He didn't have a weapon, he shook as the Dark Lord ran forward. He closed his eyes and shouted. A beam of pure energy fired from his palm, the Dark Lord barely managed to evade. He laughed again. "Some of the power was already unlocked? Interesting..." He laughed, and began to sink into the ground. "I'll be looking forward to seeing you again." The Dark Lord was gone. Clare punched the ground in rage, she couldn't get her revenge. The knights were still shaking. Benkei coughed up blood, the kick damaged his organs.
"It's too bad...Nagi didn't teach me any healing magic..." Mumbled Benkei, as he collapsed. Clare passed out from the lose of blood. Shaku couldn't move, he watched the two who defended and helped him get beaten before his eyes.

Benkei awoke on a bed. He lifted the white sheets, his wounds were gone. Clair was in the bed beside his, she was breathing normally. He scratched his head, he looked around the room and saw Shaku sitting against a wall, he was asleep. Benkei got out of bed and stretched. He made his way towards the door, his eye twitched. There were no door knobs. He stood and stared, he heard talking outside the door. "The Senshi group is completely healed." Said a voice.
"Excellent! We can begin our talk then." Said a familiar voice. Sounds like that person from before. Thought Benkei, trying to remember who she was.
"Don't be so loud though, Your Majesty. They may still be sleeping." Ah, that's right. Benkei remembered. He grinned, he thought about the chance to ally with a Queen. The door suddenly flew open, hitting Benkei and causing him to fall over.
"Oh? Good morning Benkei!" Exclaimed the Queen, standing over Benkei. She helped him up, and they walked out of the room to her throne room. They both had a seat, servants ran left and right, carrying food and drinks. "Are you completely recovered?" Asked the Queen.
"Yes, your healer must be amazing." Said Benkei, as he rubbed his wound. "No pain or scars."
"Of course, I was the one who healed you all!" Exclaimed the Queen with a laugh.
"You did?" Benkei was surprised.
"You sound surpried. I hope you didn't think I was useless or anything..." Said the Queen, Benkei shivered. She had a strange aura around her.
"Not at all! So you came back to heal us?" Asked Benkei.
"No, it was a strange robed man. He kept asking himself whether he should stay or not."
"Is that so? Did he stay?"
"No, he ran off later saying it would be best if he wasn't seen." Said the Queen with a sigh. "I think there was something wrong with him."
"He does sound a bit weird." Said Benkei, scratching his head. "Now about that alliance..."
"Ah, yes! We were hoping you would accept our alliance."
"The Senshi accept, we are just beginning and could use some strong alliances." Said Benkei, a confident smile on his face.
"That's great! I hope you will stay for a little longer, we have a feast planned tonight."
"We would, but we must continue our quest for more allies."
"I see, you are quite the active leader. I'll arrange for a representative from my kingdom to travel with you."
"That would be great." Said Benkei. "The more, the merrier."
Clare yawned as she walked into the throne room. "Good morning!" Exclaimed the Queen, startling Clare. She shot the Queen a frightning glance." "Eh?"
"Benkei, we need to leave and continue." Said Clare.
"Yes, but I didn't expect you to be so eager." Said Benkei.
Clare looked down, remembering last night. "I need more strength. This journey will help." Mumbled Clare.
"We'll win next time!" Said Benkei with confidence. "We are the Senshi, allies to the great Queen!"
"I guess so." Yawned Clare, she sat down and began to snore.
"Eh?" The Queen chuckled. "What an odd woman." Said the Queen. Shaku came in next, he was staring at his amulet. "Good morning!" Exclaimed the Queen, startling Shaku and waking up Clair.
"What's for breakfast..." Said Shaku, sitting down.
The Queen glanced over at the servants, they jolted into the kitchen. "You may request whatever you like." Said the Queen.
Shaku rubbed his stomache. "Then..." He scratched his head. "Ham."
"HAM!" Shouted the Queen to the servants. They heard the servants stumble from the shout. They dashed from the kitchen with sliced ham. They lied the metal dish infront of Shaku. Shaku jumped at the ham, and began to devour it. Benkei and Clare watched in terror as the ham disappeared within thirty seconds.
"Awesome..." Said Shaku, falling back. He burped and began to snore.
"What a carefree child." Laughed the Queen. She stood from her throne chair and walked into another room. They heard her talking with something. She later emerged with a woman behind her. A hood covered most of the woman's face, she stared at the ground as she followed the Queen. "This is Anya, and she will be the representative from my kingdom. She will attend you on your travels."
Anya bowed to them, she walked over and sat beside the sleeping Shaku. She began to poke him. "What do you want!" Shouted Shaku, jumping up. Anya squeeked and ran behind Clare. "I'm confused..." Mumbled Shaku, as he fell back asleep.
"Welcome to the group Anya." Said Benkei, as he stood up. "I'll guess we'll leave in one hour."
"Then rest up and feel free to tour the kingdom." Said the Queen, a smile on her face.
The group then split up and walked around. Leaving Shaku to sleep in the throne room. One hour passed, they all met up again in the throne room. They woke Shaku up, he yawned and crawled away.
"I hope your journey is a success." Said the Queen, waving them off as they left. They traveled down the dirt road, they were going towards a nearby city. A Light Wielder was said to live there, they hoped for Shaku to be trained more. Benkei remembered Shaku's transformation using the Amulet. Benkei smiled and remembered his past. I guess the Amulet gives different equipment and powers to different people. They continued down the road, snickering and crunching could be heard on all sides of the road. The forest was too dark to see into, so they were on guard. Blood dripped from the fangs of a goblin.
"Fresh....Meat...."
